La Pizza is located inside Paris Las Vegas hotel. We stopped by on our way because there was such a long line for their pizza and we just wanted to see what the hype was about. I am an avid pizza lover and will never say no to pizza! It was later at night so they were low on the types of pizza, but it seemed as if the mushroom pizza was the most popular so we decided on that. They had a deal of: 2 pizza and a drink for $10 (or something to that sort). We didn't pass up on that offer! We ind of had high hopes after seeing the long line and high rating, but I wasn't too impressed. Hmmm. How do I write this... Ok, think of it this way. There is totinos pizza, then there is a Red Baron pizza, next is La Pizza, followed by Costco pizza, then your big pizza chains. I'm not even going to rate them into the megalithic pizza establishments. I am also a self admitted pizza snob. I've eaten at a lot of brick oven pizzerias and I know what I like. I'll even eat a deep dish every now and then when I'm visiting Chicago. La Pizza's pizza was kind of greasy, but eatable. Sauce was ok. Overall I just don't know.. it tastes rushed if that's a thing. I'm simple. I like the dough to be simple flour, water, yeast and a hit of salt. Sauce should be made with some good fresh tomato's, oregano, garlic, pepper flakes and olive oil. Throw on some buffalo mozzarella and some basil and go from there with the topping. This tasted, processed. So I f you have a child that is screaming and you just want to throw something in there mouth before you get back to the room this is acceptable, however the price you pay for this pizza is crazy when you factor in the quality. I'll start off by saying this pizza was simply a 7 year memory till we met again. Omg it's exactly how I remembered it, of course fiancé and I took it down with a nice cold Modelo. If your a mushroom lover I highly I recommend their mushroom pizza it's superb, you won't regret it. As for my fiancé she truly enjoyed her Margarita pizza slice. I work at the Paris, so I eat here a few times a week. I have to say, for a quick slice or two this is my favorite place on the strip. The service is fast, the ladies working the counter are always friendly, and their pizza is a really good. I usually grab the pepperoni, but on special occasions they offer meat slices (pepperoni, meatball, sometimes sausage or ham). The meat slices are my absolute favorite, and on the right day they come with the perfect amount of spice too. The special is $10.81 for two slices and a refillable fountain drink, which really isn't bad considering the location. On top of that, Paris employees receive 20% off. La Pizza, or also known as JJ's Pizza Window, is located inside the Paris Hotel & Casino. It is connected to JJ's Boulangerie. I was waiting for hubby to get finished at a store and decided to try a slice of pizza from here. You order from the walk-up window and they sell pizza by the slice. The cashier was very friendly and told me that fresh pizza was just coming out of the oven. She also said they use san marzano tomatoes in their pizza sauce. I just ordered a simple slice of "Cheese Pizza" priced at $4 before tax. It was a decent size slice. Next to the walk-up window there is a small seating area with about 4 tables that have 2 chairs at each table. The pizza slice was pretty good. I did have to dab some grease off of the top with a napkin, but that was just my preference, it wasn't too overly greasy. The crust was crisp and the pizza was nice and hot. I think next time I will get a slice with toppings and see how that is. I also will ask for a side of sauce since I didn't taste too much of it on the pizza and I usually enjoy dipping my pizza in sauce anyway. I know in the picture I posted it looks like there was a decent amount of sauce, but I really couldn't taste it. The pizza slice is 3.5 stars for me. I give a full 4 stars total because the pizza was edible and didn't taste bad (it just didn't *wow* me), the cashier was friendly and I enjoyed sitting at one of their outside tables by myself having a quick slice and tourist-watching. The daily special (probably everyday) is 1 slice of pizza, chips and a drink for $6.99, but I had a drink already so just the slice would do for me today. Nothing particularly special about the pizza- it's actually on the greasier side (the grease will definitely help if you're going to do some major drinking later on in the night). Cute little tables you can sit at to enjoy your food as you watch the passersby. The only major con was that there was only one lady and one little counter. After a night of drinking, it's hard to not pass La Pizza and smell the deliciousness of fresh pizza. There's about 6 different kinds, and although they look appealing, the pizza is just okay. A surprising little place! My boyfriend and I were extremely hung over after a night in the town and wanted something greasy. This HIT THE SPOT! It's quick, cheap, and easy. Something that you don't come across very often in Las Vegas. The place is set up cafeteria style, so we got our food in minutes. Screw paying for a $20 single meal - go to La Pizza for a fantastic lunch and save the money for a big dinner! The quality of the pizza was delicious. The cheese and dough were to die for. Nothing special about the pizza here. If you are looking for something quick and easy you can generally grab a slice of pizza here without too much of a wait. They place itself doesn't offer much room for diners - small tables and often occupied, but still that doesn't bother me. I've walked by this place everyday since we were staying at Paris and finally I decided to give it a try since it was still open and it was literally a minute walk from our room. FOOD: I got their two slices with a drink combo for $10 and in Vegas, that's fairly cheap. Ordered two of their pepperoni pizzas with an orange soda named 'Twister'. The slices were HUGE and loved the fact that they were that big, definitely worth my money. BUT, once I got it up to our room and started eating it, it was SUPER greasy. Beyond what I've ever eaten back home at Pizza Huts and Domino's pizzas. Made me feel so lethargic after I finished it. D: Then again, the flavor and the size of the pepperonis were at least pretty decent. The breading was really thin and the crust wasn't too appealing because it got kind of hard at the end. Also, our drink didn't have any syrup in it- it was like dry carbonation liquid (you get that bitter soda taste because it doesn't have any sugar in it). Have gone here quite a few times and I am satisfied each time. Pepperoni, margherita and the cheese pizza were my family's fave. I love the fact that they open late! I've gone there for their breakfast too. Ham, cheese, and egg croissant were good too but quite overpriced at $11/each - but then again, everything is overpriced in the strip. We walked by La Pizza and saw their sign for the 2 slice and soda combo for $10.00. The presliced pizzas looked good while we were waiting in line. I got margherita and my boyfriend got pepperoni. Mine was delicious. I loved the dough and cheese. My boyfriend's pepperoni was a little on the greasy side but what do you expect with pepperoni? He said it was really good and the pepperonis had a spicey kick. I was eyeing their desserts but decided not to go for it. Went tonight, May 4th. Horrible! It appears they cooked a bunch of pizzas yesterday or early this morning, then when you order they take it from around the back and put it in the oven to warm it up. Leaves you with a soggy piece of old pizza. The place used to have amazing pizza. Have been there many times over the years. They used to serve you hot pizza out of the oven, now you get old/ cold pizza that has been re-warmed up once you order. Please don't waste your money. Service was horrible too. Slow service, they told us our pizza would be ready in 15 mins so after 20 mins we went to see why it's taking so long and they told us it's 40 mins not 15 because they we're having issues with the oven.
