He made the whole experience feel special. For food, we started with the Mortazza, a mortadella sandwich that was absolutely delicious. We also had the Diavola pizza, which was perfectly balanced, fresh, spicy, and honestly one of the best pizzas I've ever had. I skipped the parmesan at the end, which made it feel fresher and less salty. For dessert, we shared the Caprese cake with stracciatella gelato, and it was pure poetry. The two pastas we tried sort of missed the mark because of the flavor and extra load of butter. The Linguine alla Vongole $44 had terrific pasta, very well made with great tasting clams. The overall flavor of the dish was just odd. We also got the Rigatoni Cabonara $35. I loved the pasta itself and the first couple of bites were heavenly. For my appetizer, I went with the Gamberi Marechiaro, which was a shrimp dish in a lemon butter white wine sauce. It was excellent. For the pasta dish, I ordered the Gnocchi Pistachio Pesto, which was my favorite dish of the whole experience. Other dish ordered were Lobster Ravioli. For the entree, I went with the Osso Buco, which was very good. I was staring to get full by this point, but I was persevered. Other dishes ordered were Petite Filetto di Manzo and Vitello al Limone. The bread and spread are honestly one of the things I look forward to most while waiting for my entrée. You may have to wait a little, but it's clear the food is being cooked to order, and the quality is worth it. The wine selection is also amazing--there's always something that pairs perfectly with the meal. And saving the best for last... the butterscotch budino is to die for.
