Santa fe blue corn enchiladas with scrambled eggs/salsa verde.

We love Mexican breakfast especially when visiting the beach haunts in SoCal! Came here for brunch with friends also visiting in town and it did not disappoint! No wait to be seated and the restaurant had steady flow of customers. Started with a pitcher of guava mimosas -recommend! - and ordered Blue corn enchiladas with eggs scrambled and salsa verde. My husband ordered the omelette with carnitas and said they were cooked perfectly/not too salty! Adding this to our list of stops when in the southbay!

Awesome local spot! Super friendly staff with delicious Mexican food that's reasonably priced. Located just off the strand and has a mix of indoor and outdoor seating.

Food was standard, not amazing but not bad. Very convenient location with it being right next to the beach. Service was really kind. Some indoor seating and plenty of outdoor seating. If you're craving Mexican food and don't want to wander too far from the beach, this place will do.

A fun sit-down spot with authentic Mexican food. My chicken fajitas were served on a sizzling cast iron pan with a side of beans and lettuce included. Good value for the money. The outdoor seating has a nice view of the beach over Noble park.

The view from this restaurant is so beautiful! Service was great, the waitress was super attentive. It is a smaller restaurant but we were seated promptly on a Friday evening. The food was authentic and reasonably priced.

Warm air scented with roasted chiles and grilled carne asada greets you like an old friend who knows exactly what you came for. The room hums softly--families, laughter, plates arriving with quiet authority. No pretension. No theatrics. Just the confident rhythm of a kitchen that understands its purpose. The salsa arrives first. Bright. Alive. The sort of salsa that makes you pause mid-conversation and look down at the bowl with respect. Then the meal. Enchiladas wrapped in velvet-soft tortillas. Rice with the quiet depth of slow simmering. Beans rich enough to remind you that comfort can be served on a plate. And the margarita--cold, unapologetic, perfectly balanced--arrives like punctuation at the end of a long day. You sit back. The noise of the world recedes. This is not simply dinner. It is the rare satisfaction of a place that does exactly what it promises--and does it well. Five stars.

Quiet for a Saturday night inside sit down at 8pm, but still plenty of to-go orders, and I'll guess they were busier earlier for dinner. Lucky for us! We were greeted warmly and offered a cute table with a view out to PCH. The decor is cozy and comfortable with pretty flower murals along the walls and framing doorways. Staff was very attentive and friendly and my eyes were MUCH bigger than my tummy! I went with the grilled white fish, rice and beans plate, but added a beef tamale from the appetizer menu. Hubs selected a beef quesadilla as his main. They have a good selection of beers and beverages, but when I saw a margarita on the menu I was curious and asked if they really had margaritas. 'Yes. Would you like one'? No need to ask me twice! Unfortunately, I think, to accommodate their beer & wine license, the marg was made with some sort of white wine and maaaaybe margarita mix from LaPaz. I didn't get a hint of tequila at all. Oh well, cerveza next time! Hubs' quesadilla was large and the steak juicy, he was very happy. My grilled fish was delicious and the tamale was perfecto! Lots of generous, well seasoned beef, not too thick of a mesa. We also liked the way they served "chips" and fresh salsa. The whole, fried corn tortilla in the basket! No way someone can complain 'these chips were all crumbs!' when served this way. Delicious! We would cheerfully return to Rosa's again and hope this great family owned & operated, since 1973, business gets lots of love from local - and visiting! - patrons. Cheers! "CC"

The tacos are nice and crispy and have a generous amount of cheese and meat. I'm sure they're good on their own, but I feel you can't enjoy birria tacos without lime, salsa, and a good dunking into the consome. The tacos came with an acidic green salsa and a red spicy salsa, both taste great. They also give you two slices of lemon, which is honestly enough for the tacos. I think the only way they could improve this plate is by adding a bit of extra cilantro and onion or radish on the side. Service was good. I was attended to quickly at the counter and had my tacos in like 5 mins. Given, I came while it was slow (12pm, weekday). The restaurant is small, but there's seating indoors and outdoors. I grabbed my food to-go and honestly I'd do it again to enjoy it on the beach. Definitely would come back!

Because it was on the fries, I expected the sauce would be on the fries, but it wasn't. It had guacamole and sour cream on it. Just seemed too much sauce already on it to add the birria sauce. The birria, without the sauce, wasn't bad but ... I think any other meat choice would've been better for this dish. The tortilla chips are fresh! Very good! The service was good. Just know it's a very small space, order at the register and pick up. Not on par with the surrounding restaurants. Thus, 3 stars. But they do have a few electrical outlets, a few outdoor tables, and the prices are good! It's very reasonable.

Definitely one of the smallest burritos I have ever had. The flavor was good, actually very good, and the sauce was solid. Unfortunately that was also portioned light, with the container only about half full. No chips with the burritos, and they were $10.50 each, which was higher than the listed online price.
