I just moved to the neighborhood and walked here today and I was not disappointed. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and sat immediately. Adam was my waiter and he was absolutely amazing. Such a gentleman! Kind and professional. It's located near the corner of Green & Artesia, across the street from the police sub station. Let me start off by saying ... I'm not sure why this spot is not more busy, it's really quite good! I never really realized it was there, passed by many times, however we gave it a try about 2 weeks ago and within 10 days we went 3 times! The staff is very friendly/nice and helpful with question, restaurant is very clean with plenty of seating, small bar area inside and tv's with sports games on inside restaurant if that's your thing and the food, is good, it's not greasy like some Mexican food, it's more authentic food not elevated fancy Mexican, portions are a good size, prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be regulars here! I forgot to take photos of our 3rd visit, but we had the carne asada combo plate and the taco burrito special - if you have not went, I would highly recommend giving it a try!

Local beach establishment which fed and entertained locals since the mid 1970's under same ownership and management fed me today Complimentary chips and salsa is delivered soon after you get to your seat. That was chased by a margarita and a carne asada "something" The average price of an entree is $20 and average price of a combo plate is $15 Parking available on the east side of Artesia Blvd. Don't blink or you might miss the parking lot entrance Indoor seating, bar seating and patio seating available

When a favorite restaurant closes, we seek to replace it with a new favorite and sometimes the search isn't easy. We've dined at Las Brisas a few times; the service is always friendly and the food is decent. I've had better margaritas but the ones served here work just fine especially if your interest is to imbibe somewhere close to home. Las Brisas is that for me. I'm not convinced Las Brisas is the replacement, so the search will continue. My seafood loving guy wishes there were fish dishes instead of just shrimp. I'd love it if they served nuclear hot cheese and chips; yes, it's a treat, but it's not on the menu so there's that. At one time there were two types of salsa, I'll have to ask about this on the next visit. There is a private parking lot, but note parking can get wonky during the peak dining hours so wear your patience hat. Las Brisas also has a sub level event space that's roomy and can be reserved/rented. This last visit allowed us to gauge whether or not it's worthy of another visit...it is, we'll do it soon.

The food was amazing and very authentic. The ambience of the restaurant makes you feel like you're in Mexico and the service was immaculate. Everything was amazing and we cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. The pork loins in chile verde was amazing I fell in love with the salsa from the get go and once the entree was served it was game over! Everything is amazing from something as simple as to how good the beans tasted. Very happy to have experienced this landmark and I cannot wait to come back again.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas, and both were amazing. The meat was tender, flavorful, and not fatty at all just perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My daughter had the bean and cheese burrito with rice and beans and loved it too. They bring out three different salsas with the chips, and each one had its own unique flavor. You can tell the chips are house-made because they're fresh, crisp, and just really good. Some Mexican restaurants can make things overly salty, but everything here tasted balanced and fresh. I also had a Paloma and it was made perfectly. Before we left we decided to try the churros and I'm so glad we did. They were filled with this amazing cream and came with a caramel sauce for dipping. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but these were seriously incredible. Great location, great service, amazing food, and everything tasted fresh and well made. We will definitely be back!

When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decided to sit outside, which felt perfect for a Sunday evening. We each ordered Orden De Tacos -- which is two tacos with rice and beans -- which seems simple enough. But after a while, we started noticing that people who arrived after us were ordering, getting their food, eating, paying, and leaving while we were still waiting. Again, all we had ordered was four tacos total, plus rice and beans. About 50 minutes after we placed our order, I finally got up to ask our waiter if he could check on our food because it had been such a long wait. If they were too busy (there were a lot of people, but not absurdly so), that's where communication could have gone a long way. Even just stopping by to acknowledge the delay or apologize for the wait would have made the experience feel very different. In the end, it took nearly an hour to get our four tacos from the time we ordered it, and the wait wasn't mentioned by staff at all. The food was okay in the end, but the experience definitely left us disappointed.

They also have a weekday happy hour. The view outside felt special, perfect for a date or special occasion. All the dishes were high quality at affordable prices for the view and taste. What we ordered: Shrimp Agua Chile: $16 this was such a great value and came with such a generous portion of shrimp! I don't typically order this just anywhere I have to trust that it's fresh since it cooks in lime juices. Shrimp taquitos: $19 definitely craveable and a fav by returning customers Molcajete: $36 the star of the show! Comes with shrimp, skirt steak and chicken - all perfectly cooked in a sizzling Molcajete sauc which is smoky and tangy. It is a Mexican sauce made by crushing charred ingredients in a volcanic stone mortar and pestle. Specialty plates: $27 Sea Bass - a great healthy option, the fish was perfectly cooked and flaky tender They also have fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, and more. Drinks: El Jefe Bowl Horchata cocktail Smoky blood orange cocktail Thanks so much to our amazing server Jorge, who made our experience even more special. He had great recommendations and also gave us some background on the dishes that made us appreciate the details even more.

I ordered a skinny margarita and the shrimp tacos. I always am scared getting a skinny marg because it is either super strong or not good but this one was the best I've had in a while. The shrimp tacos were yummy! My friend wasn't a big fan of them because they were too wet and didn't have enough crunch. The prices are good too.
