i eat here almost every day. amazing food. i usually get the bacon avocado burrito with added cilantro and sausage

I stumbled upon this little breakfast, taco, and burrito place which is just one block from the ocean, and I have to say, it's got a wonderfully relaxing vibe. The outdoor seating right by the sidewalk, just a few small tables is perfect for a leisurely morning. They're open early morning until about 3 p.m., so it's a great place for a late breakfast or lunch. Just be aware that the parking is in a large lot shared with beach parking, so you'll need to pay for it. As soon as you order, they get to work. my burrito was ready in just a few minutes. Everything was fresh, and I loved that I could customize my taco or burrito just the way I wanted. The prices were very reasonable, too. The food quality was good although not outstanding, but definitely solid. Inside, it's a bit hit or miss. the air can feel a little stuffy, and it's not the cleanest, but it's fine for a casual visit. One letdown: they don't have fresh agua fresca, and the coffee is just self-serve, sitting there for who knows how long. Still, I really enjoyed it overall especially the sweet lady at the counter, who was so kind. I love supporting this hardworking local business. read more

Plenty of parking at meters. They have an outside seating area. They are dog-friendly. They sell Blue Bunny Ice cream. Counterperson was fine. Told her it was my first time there and she didn't do anything. Not a smile. Not a "oh great well this is our most popular...", nothing. Menu posted outdoor so you can check it out and be ready to order. Very small establishment. I ordered the SPINATOR (?) sausage, spinach, etc., - and added bacon. Didn't really find the spinach or the added bacon that I was charged for. So, it was an okay burrito. Not a great burrito for a business with burrito in the title. Level up your menu offerings to match your pricing. For some reason I got two small burritos instead of one large one. And they were SMALL. The salsa was spicy - which is good. This is a cute little beach shack. Stopped by on a Wednesday when we were passing through redondo. The staff wasn't the friendliest but not cold and the food was fine. Got a burrito that was pretty small for the price. Nothing truly spectacular here in the experience. Id probably try a different spot if I was back down. It gave a "locals only" vibe which I get, but I'm also not a beach tourist, I live in LA lol. read more

[Setting & service]: A pretty small spot with about 5 indoor tables and 4 outdoor tables. Service was alright and I got my order ready in less than 5 minutes. [Menu]: I asked the cashier for popular breakfast burrito options and she said B. Avocado (Bacon and Avocado) and Chorizo N Egg. *** Chorizo N Egg (egg, chorizo & cheddar - mild salsa, $9.50): It was a nice surprise to see one order of burrito = two mini bite-size burritos instead. Excellent flour tortillas and filling had a great flavor. Mild salsa had a slightly vinegary aftertaste and it wasn't bad. *** This is one of those hidden burrito shops that you would visit from time to time if you live close enough. While I can't say it was the best breakfast burrito I have had, personally I don't have a strong preference on Phanny's or Brother's as both spots serve equally good breakfast burritos. read more

cute local spot in hermosa, about half a block from the pier .. they have a simple menu yet plenty of combinations you can pick either from burrito, bowl or quesadilla. they offer different menus for breakfast and lunch there was a few i kept going back and forth on, but ended up ordering the spinnaker, which has egg, spinach, onion, sausage, potato & cheddar cheese $12.20 the food was ready fairly quickly, the burrito option comes with two mini burritos :D it was good, the mild green salsa def paired well with my mini burritos service was okay. you order inside, pay for it and they call your name when it is ready! seating inside and they have a cute little patio area as well. a great place to visit for a quick snack or bite to eat and continue on with your bike ride or walk parking: metered surface lot or metered street parking read more

While cycling back toward Redondo Beach, the thought of breakfast burritos made us absolutely hungry. We finally made our way to Brother's Burritos and took a look at their big menu. Located near The Strand (the Marvin Braude Bike Trail) and Hermosa Beach Pier, it's easily accessible by walking or cycling. The cashier answered our questions about the menu, and the ambience was a no-frills environment with plenty of napkins on each table. I got the bacon avocado breakfast burrito (total amount of $14.21 using cash), which came with egg, bacon, avocado, and jack cheese. I also added potatoes at an additional charge. Then, we split a build-your-own-lunch burrito (total amount of $13.99 using cash), which had tri-tip beef, brown rice, pinto beans, mushrooms, grilled onions, and potatoes. Everything tasted good, and the restaurant splits each order into two smaller burritos. This allowed us to share the lunch burrito since we were still hungry after finishing our own breakfast burritos. I enjoyed the lunch burrito much more because there was a lot of tri-tip beef. So I've been coming here for many years, even before that thing that shall not be named in 2020. They've always been good. Their salsas are top notch. However, this day (8/18/2025) was not the same. Food: I ordered the spinnaker with regular pork sausage (literally slices of mini hot dogs!) and chicken sausage burritos . Mild salsa is great. The medium however seemed a bit under par and tasted sour. Not sure if I came on a bad day but sure wasn't as consistent as before. Service: is great. No complaints. Even answered minor questions. Ambiance: small indoor but plenty of seating. More seats outdoors (benches). Location is by the beach . Parking is metered so watch the time . Meters don't start til 10am but plenty of metered parking stalls. It's a comeback spot for me but will consider ordering something else next time. read more

Order and pick up at the counter, self bus your table. Everything is served to go in a brown paper bag with burritos wrapped in foil and a paper liner. Although it is the standard fast food model the food is definitely a cut above. There are numerous 'pre-defined' burritos, if you want to customize there are literally dozens of ingredients to choose from with very good vegetarian options. You will get your order quickly. I enjoyed the Soy Chorizo topped with the medium salsa, if we return I'll request a second very small container of salsa. I ate the veggie burrito my partner could not finish and found it bland (Partner was fine with it). I'll be sticking with the Soy Chorizo option. We had to improvise bicycle parking, locking to a No Parking sign. We have ridden past Brothers Burritos well over a hundred times without realizing they served breakfast. Although it will not replace our go-to breakfast spots (Good Stuff and Scotty's) we will be back. read more

My favorite breakfast burrito restaurant! Have been coming here since I was in high school (over 16 years) and still really good! I usually get the bean, cheese and egg burrito, chorizo and egg burrito and bacon, egg, cheese and jalapeño burrito. All are really good and their salsas are really good as well!! I only tried a custom burrito where I requested for the specific items I wanted in my burrito. It came in (2) mini burritos which is cute I guess. I don't really see anything special with it though, especially for the price. I may have preferred one fat/stuffed burrito because I don't love extra flaps of dry tortilla. My family has been eating here for yeeeeeaaaars and the food is always good. Love to grab a burrito or bowl on our way to the beach. The service is a bit sassy but she's busy- it is what it is. I rode my bike 20 miles then stopped to find a burrito place. Quick yelp search and found Brother's Burrito which seemed perfect! Cute little place with a counter to order at, you can see brother cooking up burritos behind what I can only guess is his sister. I ordered one bacon sausage egg and cheese burrito and lo and behold was handed two! Maybe that's just how they do things, as they are sorta small. To my surprise there was chopped green chile in the mix as well and rather cheddar, jack cheese is used. Well done! Everything is cooked nicely!! The sausage has a nice amount of fennel which compliments the whole dish nicely. The only thing I would caution is to eat outside on the small patio rather than inside. The woman behind the counter YELLS out the name of the patron when the order is up and it's just JARRING. I shuddered every time but I needed to stay inside as I was charging my battery at an outlet! You can either choose from a pre-determined menu of options or build your own selecting from a couple lists, but essentially everything on the menu comes in a burrito, bowl, or quesadilla, leaving you with the feeling of unlimited possibilities. I just don't understand raving about their burritos. Friends love them; but I think the breakfast burritos are tasteless and boring unless adding a lot of salsa. Breakfast on 7-30-23 It was not easy finding brothers burrito, but the service we had was ok. When buying a burrito I had no idea they would give you 2 and basically a bigger burrito cut in half. It was pretty decent, felt like real ingredients and not salty at all. I got the egg, bacon with avocado and usual it is extra $2.95! I think avocado and cheese additions are overrated! It is a small place, can seat maybe 9-11 ppl inside. And a couple of outside seating that may fit another 6. It is not on the main drag of Hermosa Avenue. They had some merch and seems like a very small kitchen and easy to read menu, simply just burrito or build it yourself. Seems like a very small business so if you are searching for easy to eat and filling, check this out! The salsa was pretty good and if you like mild- they have it! The parking sucks in this area and we had to walk awhile to get there. Summertime is always packed and this is why we don't like going to Hermosa Beach.
