    House margarita

Love this place! Tacos were $3 for happy hour and the margaritas were $8. The tacos were very delicious! Margaritas are strong but balanced too. Their guacamole is smooth and flavorful too. Service is always attentive and super nice. Inside is super cute and they have covered outdoor seating too.

Quality + Price + Service = Must Go. Every time I've come here, I've left happy. I've tried the carne asada, carnitas, enchiladas, salmon, and everything has been consistently great! The portions are solid for the price, and the overall experience never disappoints.

I haven't dined here in years. I recall my last visit was very good so we decided to return. The restaurant was very empty when we arrived. In fact we were the only customers. But soon more people began arriving. The server was friendly and prompt. I ordered the Camarónes Borrachos which I found somewhat disappointing. The pieces of shrimp were small, short on quality, very dry and rather blah in taste. This isn't a dish I'll order here again. It was well presented but the beauty did not translate to the taste. My guest ordered the Carnitas and said it as one of the best dishes of that type he ever had. He was very satisfied and we agreed to return again on the future. The restaurant has a private parking lot and there was abundant street parking available. It's a nice restaurant with excellent service and good prices. Despite my dislike for a particular dish I give this restaurant my recommendation.

I love this little restaurant. The steak fajitas are tender and full of steak'ish flavor. The wet burritos are filling. You'll be sleepy if you ordered and ate this for lunch and had to go back to work for the rest of the afternoon. The chips are crispy. The salsa is delicious, spicy but not too hot. The tortillas are fresh and addictive. Great friendly service. Clean and comfortable.

Had an appointment not far from Redondo Beach, so decided to get some comfort food at Maderos Cocina. We ordered a bottle of Modelo negra which was cold and refreshing. The chips and salsa were yummy and the chips were unsalted with three different salsas. My wife ordered the carne asada burrito mojado and I ordered the carnitas plate. Both dishes was served hot and loaded with flavor. Our server was friendly and efficient in taking our order and delivering our food.

Quick service, great food, clean restaurant and patio, and great prices! I will definitely come back!

I don't usually write reviews like this because I'd consider myself someone with a lot of patience. But my partner and I came to Maderos tonight after looking around Yelp and seeing how many great reviews it had. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decided to sit outside, which felt perfect for a Sunday evening. We each ordered Orden De Tacos -- which is two tacos with rice and beans -- which seems simple enough. But after a while, we started noticing that people who arrived after us were ordering, getting their food, eating, paying, and leaving while we were still waiting. Again, all we had ordered was four tacos total, plus rice and beans. About 50 minutes after we placed our order, I finally got up to ask our waiter if he could check on our food because it had been such a long wait. If they were too busy (there were a lot of people, but not absurdly so), that's where communication could have gone a long way. Even just stopping by to acknowledge the delay or apologize for the wait would have made the experience feel very different. In the end, it took nearly an hour to get our four tacos from the time we ordered it, and the wait wasn't mentioned by staff at all. The food was okay in the end, but the experience definitely left us disappointed.

Quesadilla Trio, these were delicious and perfect size for an appetizer

The food was fresh and fast. I'm sure the tortillas were freshly made because the tortillas taste like it. The servers were both very approachable and attentive. It's very much a chill vibe no need to dress up but you can come just as you are. They have happy hour from 3-6. Tacos are 3.50 and they have beer and Margaritas on the happy hour. I'm not a drinker so I can't remember how much.

    Crispy carnitas combo lunch! Yum!

I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican cuisine. The physical space was fantastic with a nice open area for seating. The service was great and the chips and salsa were fantastic and I ordered crispy Carnitas with rice and beans and flour tortillas and it was extremely delicious. I highly recommend this establishment and will most certainly go back!

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Redondo Beach. It has a small parking lot behind the restaurant and it gets busy after 5pm. The inside has lots of tables and a bar area. There was some Luis Miguel music playing in the background. They give you complimentary chips with 3 types of salsa. Delicious . We had Chile Relleno and a blackened chicken salad and both were so good. Our waiter was super friendly and very efficient. We'll definitely be back!

    Crema De Elote

Came here for lunch. Service was amazing. The drinks were delicious! The margarita was really good. I got the carne asada burrito and it tasted really fresh, meat was good too. The elote was amazing. Can't wait to try this place at night.

Some of the best Mexican food I've had i a long time. I mean we enjoyed ourselves so much that we dined again 2 days later. So let's get into it: Service ***** ( those are stars ;) They blew our minds when they accommodated my husband special request for chilaquiles. This dish was only offered on their brunch menu but not only did they offer to make it for him they allowed him to customize it. Lol Food***** Fire! We tried several dishes between our two night rendezvous and not one dish disappointed even the horchata was good. Decor**** It's cute but Does it really matter? They place is clean . They were constantly wiping tables and clearing tables so that dishes didn't pile up and Sweeping floors after spills. Basically ... you should visit! And enjoy.... And Thank me l

The only critique I'd offer is I wish they didn't use the end pieces of the loaf of bread for french toast--made the pieces tough. But the other breakfast items were great, as were the salsa, guac, and tortilla chips. What a gem to have in Redondo, especially for it being reasonably priced and accessible (wasn't a problem getting a reservation). Hope this place can stay busy enough to stick around for a while.

It's really disappointing that every part of our experience fell short, because I would have gladly given a higher rating if there had been at least one standout. Sadly, there just wasn't

The ambiance was great and it was a really nice spot in front of the Pier. We sat outside since it was good weather, I didn't account for the afternoon chill though once the sunset. Good thing to keep in mind when choosing outside or inside. The inside was really pretty (saw this on my way to the restroom later) so I wish I would have chosen to sit inside. Now for the food, this was really the only let down. The guacamole and chips were started with was okay, slightly bland in flavor. I got the fish tacos, my husband got the Chipotle Pollo y Hongos (listed as a house specialty), got a taco and nacho plate for my kids off the kids menu. The rice was like a green rice, super bland and dry and this came on both of the adult plates. The red rice that came with the kids food was actually better. The refried beans tasted like something that came out of a can, dry as heck and again, bland. Fish tacos were meh, fish was fishy and the slaw it comes with did not have the flavor I am usually looking for when I think fish tacos. My husband's chicken was yummy, and I wished I had gotten that instead. Only con was the dry rice and beans it comes paired with. Maybe my biggest gripe was the food not tasting authentic at all, and this Mexican girl loves her Mexican food, or maybe I just got the wrong plates. In my experience, if the basics are wrong (rice and beans) the rest has little hope. However, I must say that Dessert was amazing, I got some kind of yummy ice cream (maybe the Helado Frito?) to blow out my birthday candle. It was the silver lining for sure :) Service was great, and they were very accommodating. I felt bad telling them I hated the food but I wanted to write an honest review for those, like myself, who rely on reviews when choosing a good dinner spot.
