Cute little French bakery with lovely folks working there. Place your order at the register, pay your tab and it will be delivered to your table. My two friends ordered breakfast and were very satisfied with their dishes. Presentation was very nice. I ordered avocado toast as I just love sourdough and avocado together. It was tasty, although next time I'll request no butter on my toast before the avocado is placed as I would prefer to savor the bread rather than the butter. Easy parking in the lot out front. Tomorrow is my birthday and we will be visiting family for coffee and pastries, so I did a trial run this morning at 9 AM. The cafe is cute inside and a family were sitting inside and appeared to be enjoying their coffee and pastries, but mine was "to go". I got a plain croissant, an almond croissant, and a ham and cheese for later in the day. All were delicious and flaky, just what I was hoping for. The owner is working nights to bake it all and said she needs to hire more help, though there was a nice man and woman working with her this morning. Tomorrow I will buy some French butter and more of the same pastries.. I highly recommend this place. its awesome ! read more

So happy they're back open! They have, without a doubt, the best sourdough country loaf I have ever tasted. And I have tried from many of the top bakers in town (and in San Francisco!), including Clark Street, Lodge etc. (having formerly lived on the Westside). It's a very substantial loaf that freezes beautifully (we have her slice it for us first) so the price is very fair. Also hope their sandwiches on the little French baguettes come back soon. I'm really not understanding the 5 star reviews here. I've been here a handful of times with my friends. Each time there was something wrong with the order. If there are other people dining we can see their orders were also wrong. There seem to be no process or communication happening between the waiter and the cook/owner. There were several times we can hear them argue in the back. Although this last visit, my friend communicated directly with the cook/owner of how she wanted her eggs. They still came out wrong. We have seen high turnaround of waiters....although the last one stuck around for a while. He never smiled and always looked stressed. Not surprisingly they have a new waiter our last visit. The food is ok, and the sourdough bread is good. I've tried their carrot cake once and it was excellent. The owner gave us some macarons once when they messed up on our order. The macarons were ok. For the past few times they offer a discount if you paid with cash. They changed this policy our last visit. The discount only applies to the purchase of their fresh bread. read more

The inside of La Princière was so cute and their beautiful pastries are on display in a big glass case. They all looked so enticing. Service was a little confusing. They seemed busy enough but there was only one person at the front trying to cover several orders. They were kind but it was not efficient. The coffee was great! I got an iced caramel latte that was perfectly sweet and rich. I practically inhaled it. My boyfriend got a mocha latte and liked it equally as much. I got a chocolate almond croissant. I don't know if it was just a miss today but I did not enjoy it. We went there on Valentine's Day And their oven was broken and so the weight was about an hour to get pre-order food, which was disappointing, but I understand And I would absolutely still go back. Second thing I noticed, is the long tray of croissants were directly behind the feet of the cashier, right in heavy walking traffic isle , next to the printer and To-go boxes, next to the washing station. Warm Quiche had that rich French creamy butter taste and the flawless flaky crust held the filling perfectly. Breakfast sandwich could be made anywhere, except these scrambled eggs were custardy-buttery heaven and the croissant had a crisp texture that kept it all together. These croissants are amazing...not greasy and very Paris. I also bought a raspberry muffin that looked great, however, my dog got to it before I could. I think he really enjoyed it. I also ordered a latte. While it was tasty, it wasn't very hot and there were a lot of people so I didn't feel comfortable going back and asking to heat it up. We certainly understand hiccups happen- and perhaps we are so overly conditioned to a hurried pace- so refreshing to see a caring passionate owner with amazing skills- the quality here does look amazing and we will return for another try: Croissant Heaven. Service Limbo. Hell is too harsh. Charming bakery cafe in a strip- Lovely French sounds surround, and you're greeted by fresh baked sourdoughs all in a row. We found the croissant pastries to be perfectly crisped, buttery and flaky. "Flaky" may also be used to describe the service we encountered at the counter. We chalked it up to slower service equating a more authentic Parisian experience. The interesting thing is that it took 16 minutes to deliver two drinks and two croissants, that were ready made in the case, and looking at the rest of room, It was not too busy for better service. If you're nearby, give it a try. Maybe you'll have better luck. Perhaps it was anomalous.... Not sure if we'll give another shot or not? read more

So the most beautiful woman in the world is part French and keeps mentioning that she wants to go to France at least once in her life. So when this French Bakery opened up I knew it was my one chance to maybe avoid the TSA and long hours on a plane. First thing I notice is the beautiful French music playing in the background, The lovely display of Beniets and Muffins and the loaves of bread fresh from the oven. So I decided to take a break and have a latte and an almond croissant. I love me my almond croissant and this didn't disappoint. Light flakey and ever so sweet. Really a delight. I love supporting small business and was a little shocked to see a mean review here on Yelp. Please remember when a place is new, they have to work out some of the kinks. So when I want to pretend I am in France and just relax I am going to come and spend some quality time here. There are several delicious food items as well as a much needed bread and yummies to chose from. (There are so few Bakeries in town this is a welcomed addition). What a wonderful little pâtisserie/boulangerie! I have been to La Princière several times and am delighted at each visit. The place is simple on the outside but, once you open the door, it is bright & welcoming. The display case is, well, tempting... I often want to over-order because the pastries look so good. I usually go for the sourdough loaf and end up buying several pastries, as well. Ahlam is so passionate about her creations! I enjoy listening to her describe what goes into her baked goods.
