    TACOS - 2 Chicken, 3 Al Pastor
    Amanda A.

This hidden gem blew us away. This was easily the best Mexican meal I had during my four day trip to the DFW area. These tacos are authentic and fresh. Although Al pastor is usually my go-to taco, the chicken was the favorite, because of the flavor in the spices and the moisture. My friend ordered the quesadilla which seemed to have the same chicken and she couldn't stop eating it! This place is counter service and then I took my ticket to the outside patio for the laddies working the grill to prepare my plate. The restaurant is super casual, with music jammin' over the speakers, a fresh salsa bar and grab-n-go drinks, including Mexican Coke. It was full of local Mexican people dining there, which shows its authenticity to the cuisine. I noticed a drive thru and walk up counter outside too. I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this place! Worth the visit!

MY FAVORITE CHICKEN EVER. It is a lowkey spot but I come here everytime im craving some good chicken. Right next to campus and it fills you up. I also recommend trying the nachos as well.

You can smell the authenticity from the parking lot. All of the food was good! That is all you need to know about this place.

I just can't get over how consistently delicious and cost friendly the food is here. If you're looking to support a small, local business..look NO FURTHER. every bite of chicken, onion, pepper, sauce, tortilla and rice is loaded with savory, spicy, sweet complex flavors and I have yet to finish a meal here without feeling 100% satisfied. There is a drive thru if you don't feel comfortable stepping in. Idk what else to tell y'all, this chicken is the truth

It's a very humble place in a very humble neighborhood, but the food (I tried their grilled chicken) is very good and very affordable.

Fire roasted chicken, can't wait until they are ready to eat!

I came in for breakfast tacos, which were awesome, but saw them putting the chicken on.... Said they will be ready a little after 10:15am... I'll be back!!!

We dropped by on a Sunday afternoon and lots a people were here, which meant just a short wait for a table. Chicken plate came out immediately though. Taco plates are made to order outside. No.... your own family members won't wait for you to come back inside with the taco plate before they start chowing down on the chicken. Thumbs up all around.

Tried this place today, and it was amazing. It reminds me of home (LA) the staff were really nice and professional. I'd definitely come back here when I'm in Arlington.

I went for the 6 dollar lunch special, this isn't really my type of food but my co worker wanted it. I got a half chicken, a cup of rice and cup of a gumbo type soup and a couple corn tortillas for the 6 dollars. It was definitely a lot of food for the price. The food was very good and feeling, they had a couple sauces and I saw them bringing in wood while I was eating so this is definitely real food cooked right there. I would absolutely go back, they have different specials every day.

Food was not good at all. The chicken tasted old. The beans were not fully done. The rice was not fully cooked

I can't believe that I've never before visited Mariano's Hacienda Ranch. I've been missing out on some great Tex-Mex! I knew I was going to have a great meal when I got out of the car and smelled the Mesquite smoke from the grill that Mariano's uses. The food was awesome and delicious. My Margarita was tasty, with a very generous pour of Tequila. The two salsas, traditional and warm chipotle, were fresh, with vibrant flavors of tomatoes, chilies, onions, cilantro. The guacamole was the perfect combination of avacado, lime, salt, cilantro, and onion. Our queso came with dollops of sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and Picadillo ground beef. My lovely Wife had 3 Shrimp en Brochette with a Sour Cream Chicken Enchilada. She was overjoyed with her flavorful Mariano's Hacienda Ranch Tex-Mex dinner! I was so very happy with my delicious Beef Fajitas (they used tender outside skirt steak) with onions and peppers, all grilled over Mesquite coals. The flavors of Mesquite permeated my fajitas with smoky, sweet goodness, while the marinated meat was grilled perfectly over high heat, to yield juicy, seared, melt-in-your-mouth, beef flavor. Service was friendly and professional. Our meal was relatively inexpensive, offering great value for the high quality of the very tasty Tex-Mex cuisine. I have a new favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Arlington/North Texas. I offer my highest recommendation of Mariano's Hacienda Ranch in Arlington, Texas, at Hwy 360 & Majesty Drive. I can't wait to go back (especially for the Mesquite grilled Tex-Mex meals).

Everything starts with the fire-roasted salsa. That stuff is ridiculous. I'd pour it over a 2x4 and eat it. Smoky, fresh, and addictive. I have to stop myself from filling up on chips before the food arrives. The fajitas are the star of the show. Tender, flavorful, and consistently excellent every single time. This is one of those places where you don't need to study the menu. Just order the fajitas and thank me later. The service is always good too. The staff is friendly, attentive, and keeps everything moving without hovering over your table. If Mariano's ever changes their fajita recipe, I'm prepared to testify before Congress. Until then, this place gets an easy five stars from me.
