I've been seeing Bev for over a year now and my skin has never looked better. I have the weirdest skin ever, it's oily but dry, still get break outs, and now I have little wrinkles to deal with. I've been to so many dermatologists over the years and have tried so many treatments and and products, but nothing's really worked until I started going to Bev. Dr Werner is hands down the most talented injector, I have ever worked with! I have an extremely challenging , chin situation from chemotherapy. I had extensive surgery and several fat transfers! I need constant filler injections due to skin thinning and tissue wasting and scarring from cortisone injections for an occasional breakout! Dr Werner addresses the pitting, scar tissue and mottled appearance! He has also given me Botox injections that addressed my orange peel chin and around my eyes that also helped alleviate my migraines! He is patient, open, and he has a great sense of humor! He knows his business! He does not recommend anything that is not needed! He is a true artist and takes his time to give me the results I need! I have had the top plastic surgeons and dermatologists treat me in the past! I was one of the first estheticians to work with a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills back in 1980. I had my own spa businesses and I can say as an expert that , Dr. Werner administers the most painless injections and has a great eye, working with different lighting to achieve optimal results! First impressions are wonderful as the front desk manager is pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. His Esthetician is pleasant and knowledgeable, helping your skin feel it's best. As for the doctor, he is not exactly what I was expecting and I truly felt uncomfortable when speaking with him. End result is that I did not trust him to take care of my esthetic needs. He is a family medicine doctor and is not a true plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Therefore he is not adequately trained in the areas he is focusing on. He was not knowledgeable about conditions I had and that was scary as he was willing to perform a procedure that would cause a negative outcome if I had allowed him to proceed. Read the other reviews and use your gut when choosing a doctor to take care of your skin or any needs for that matter. In the end, I ended up receiving A+ care and results with Dr. Jochen and truly recommend. read more

Poor service, went to this place for Botox but MD gave me a lecture on how young I was for Botox. (Many individuals know the sooner someone uses Botox the better it is for aging) Maybe the MD did not want me as part of his clientele as there was no attempt to offer other services or products for a solution to my 'concern'. The MD did inject Botox, however my eyes drooped after the toxin took full effect. I returned for advice however he appeared very shocked and stated that I must be part of the few that receive the toxin very poorly and he would have to "play around" to find the right injection site and right dose of Botox for the right effect but that I would obviously pay for the product while conducting this guinea pig experiment and that I would also have to wait out or endure the poor effects of it until he gets it right, pretty much. I recently decided to consult with Dr. Jochen. Best decision ever! Big deference in knowledge, attention, and services. read more

I have been in the area for about 2 years and have tried a handful of medical spas. I find the LQ MedSpa Express the place that I keep coming back to. Although they no longer offer massages, they offer a full menu of affordable cosmetic procedures. They are upfront about price and the procedures are explained well. I have been going to La Quinta Med Spa for about 3+ years. Every time I had any procedure ie., Botox, fillers it was exactly what I wanted and expected. I am from LA and have gone to only two other Doctors, both plastic surgeons happen to be on Rodeo in Beverly Hills--now in the same building at 450 Rodeo--They are the best. For filler injections they don't do too many anymore. When I permanently moved here to Palm Desert, I thought, that's it, I'm screwed, I'll be looking like a cocktail waitress in no time (that's about all I see here with overdone lips and cheeks) Randomly, I chose Dr. Werner, but upon reflection I think it was James, who runs Doctors Express office that made me comfortable enough on the phone to 'take a shot' (pun intended!) with Dr. Werner. And I for one, after numerous visits (I'm more of a less is more when it comes to injections) am very happy I chose to go to Dr. Werner, I even made my retired Navy Captain husband go to him to have a spot 'looked' at on his cheek, and removed--and he's happy, too I have never written a review before, that I remember, but if you're looking and are apprehensive, as was I, my experience with this clinic, was and continues to be exceptional. Very nice experience here. I brought my daughter in for an acne facial. Beverly gave her a great facial with extractions. She followed it up with a very soothing mask. Beverly spent a lot of time with my daughter explaining what she was doing and what to for aftercare. The Dr and James were also very nice and friendly. Worst Botox and filler I've ever got. I have been getting Botox and filler for many years. The botox I received here didn't last at all. Nurse Shirley took great care of me; from making me comfortable during the treatment to explaining the steps and the product being used. Dr. Matt Werner, MD is a gifted professional who provides services from two offices, La Quinta MedSpa Express in Rancho Mirage and La Quinta MedSpa in LaQuinta. I have been to both offices for injectable services - botox and filler. I appreciated the time Dr. Werner took to evaluate my situation and listen to my concerns. He discussed options and recommendations very clearly. I was pleased with each of the three botox sessions administered to me by Dr. Werner. His approach with me was conservative ensuring the results looked natural. He explained that he could administer more botox in a session but would rather go for a natural look - if i was not satisfied with the results in a few days i was welcome to come back for more at no cost. I was very satisfied with the improvement in my appearance and felt it looked very natural for a 48 year old man. Subsequent botox treatments were as satisfying to me. I have also had filler administered by Dr. Werner and am very pleased with the results. Again, he took the time to listen to my concerns, evaluated me and provided recommendation for me to consider. I was concerned about baggy eyelids and thought surgery would be needed. While i might consider in later years, I chose to try the filler approach. As with Botox, Dr. Werner took a conservative approach and administered enough to show an immediate improvement. Again, he explained that he would rather administer less to ensure a more natural look - wait a few days and if i was not satisfied i could return for a touch up at no cost. I very much respect the work Dr. Werner does. I recommend him to my close friends (the ones who ask me what am I doing to look so relaxed and fresh). read more
