I love, luv luiuvvvbbvvvgv. eating fish and chips here, the halibut is hot at the table the steam breaks through when with the "big bite", i was going to say shark bite but that's someone else catchphrase. They pile the fries on and then the fish, a tower of food too much for me but well worth the try and they are super duber friendly.. I would give it a 5 but they stop the halibut skewers they were amazing and the owner said simply to cook . Can you get fish and chips anywhere in the city yeah, is it steaming hot there no, it's steaming hot every order and everyone or they don't serve it

I saw this place on social and decided to give it a go. It was the hole in the wall type, so I was like heck yeah! I chose this place over Spuds Fish n Chips because they had the combination which gave me a piece of everything. The combination had Halibut, Prawns and Oysters, all about the mixed platter life. Don't expect major decor, it was simple and basic. An elderly man working the counter was just doing his job. So he wasn't thee friendliest but he wasn't rude. But the food can out really fast and fresh! Overall, I wanna try the competition near to get a final verdict. But saying yes to coming back.

Classic cod fish and chips done right! They cook everything to order so it's fresh and hot when you pick it up. For $25 we got a large cod fish and chips (3 pieces of fish) and a large clam chowder. Paired well with a solid tartar sauce.

My sister and I got dinner here last week and the man working is sooo sweet. I ordered a 3 piece cod and my sister ordered 2 and we both were so surprised when we got home and saw that he had added an extra piece each for us. Literal angel. Fish was delicious. Loved the home made tartar and malt vinegar. When we were there he was trying to get us to take some Halloween candy haha. Will have to come back more often when I'm craving fish and chips. He's just the sweetest thing.

Fresh and delicious!! The cod fish and chips and fried shrimp were incredible. Love everything about this place, family run to this day. Staff always friendly. Pro tip: ask for the cocktail sauce for the shrimp.

Not pretentious, just good and fresh fish for a fair price. Parking is a bit of a pain on busy days, so I always go when it is raining.

The COD is excellent and chowder. Not a fan of halibut. Their combos are very popular but they run out fast.

We couldn't decide between lunch and dinner, and we ended up going during happy hour. We were able to get some of their food and cocktails at a nice price. We sat inside, even though I had requested outside on my reservation, but the inside decor is very cute too and we were close enough to the open patio. I tried their geoduck clam chowder and Caesar salad and both were delicious. My husband and son got the fish and chips. They both loved it. The fish had a super crispy coating but not too much coating so the fish still shined. Quality was present in everything we ordered. I ordered a lemoncello spritz and my son ordered a pina colada. My spritz was ok but not much lemon flavor. My son loved his though and ordered a second one. We were all too full to order dessert, but I had mentioned in my reservation that this was for a birthday and nothing was said by our waitress, which makes me wonder why they ask in the first place. However, this place has a beautiful atmosphere right next to the beach across the street and phenomenal food, so I am sure my son will be back and so will we when we visit again. Interestingly, they have a lunch menu that includes a lot more such as a po boy sandwich that has caught my eye for next time.....

From the moment we arrived, the host was welcoming, and our servers were wonderful--friendly, attentive, and impressively quick with everything. We chose to sit on the patio, and I'm so glad we did. It has such a lush, cozy atmosphere with greenery all around--you almost feel like you're dining in a little jungle. I ordered the burger. The first bite was delicious because all the toppings and flavors inside work so well together. However, the beef itself wasn't my favorite--it was quite fatty and didn't have that clean, high-quality beef taste I usually look for in a burger. I also ordered a virgin Bloody Mary, but unfortunately that wasn't for me either. It was very thick and tasted a little too much like straight tomato sauce rather than a refreshing, balanced Bloody Mary. My husband really enjoyed the oysters, while our daughter wasn't in the mood for a full meal, so we kept it simple with fries and fresh fruit for her. Overall, the beautiful patio, welcoming service, and relaxed Sunday atmosphere made it an enjoyable lunch. I'd definitely come back for the vibe and hospitality, but next time I'd explore some different items on the menu.

Something to note is I found their flavors to lean more towards the sweet & sour realm. Pull Apart Rolls - the lavender butter is the true star of this dish. They should sell that butter by the tub. Rolls are average. Brassicas - it was good but this was my least fav dish we got because it was a little boring. The bread was chewy, the chutney was flavorful, and I enjoyed the broccoli hummus. Raw rockfish crudo - this was a standout dish for me! No fishiness at all. It was fresh, light, and flavorful. I'm not a huge fan of raw fish because of the texture, but I wanted more of this. The serving size is too small imo. Pork Chop - feeds 1-2. I liked it! The meat was perfectly cooked and juicy. Not dry at all. It came with nectarines I think, but I thought it was squash by the appearance. I think squash would've been better. The broccoli in the grits gave it a good texture. This dish takes 35 min to come out and is worth the wait. Miso caramel cake - I loved the crispy edges. Cake was soft and buttery. The caramel flavor really shone through. Good dish to end the night. Whatever ice cream they use on the Melon on My Mind drink is so incredibly creamy. I wish that ice cream was on the dessert menu. Grand Fenelly was a great mocktail, but very sour from the vinegar. It felt almost cleansing that way lol The dishes we got described above + 2 alcoholic drinks + 1 mocktail was $200 after tax but before tip.

I feel like the buffet has a few less items than before, but the items they do have are tasty and will satisfy any mood. Here were the misses: - I ordered an omelette at the station, the guy says come back in seven minutes. When I came back there was a whole bunch of people standing in front of a whole bunch of omelettes. I asked which is mine, he just blindly grabs one and gives it to me. When I get back to the table it is definitely not mine because it was loaded with shrimp which I did not ask for. - All you can eat Dungeness crab legs, but they don't salt their water so all the flavor leeches out and every leg was bland and tasteless. So disappointing to ruin crab legs like that. - Great selection of desserts but please have someone to police the chocolate fountain so kids (and some adults) don't stick their fingers in the chocolate. So gross! - At $99/each you'd expect better quality overall. Just not worth it anymore.

EDIT : initially you may assume there was a genuine "apology" from the owner, but as you read,…read morewhich inevitably became excuse after excuse rather than genuine apology, the last comment proves the lack of true ownership (pardon the pun) of any downfalls or negative reviews of this place. Making it sound like there's more to the review than what is written, is arrogance at its best. Why, because YOU know better? No, owner, you are wrong. What I wrote is EXACTLY what went wrong. There's no need for your attempt in a deep psychological read into my mind. If you want less negative reviews, fix the issues. All I did was relay my experience. And yet it was met by "but this and this and this". Do i care you put up your house for this? Not at all. Because you're not the only person who has done something like that, but they did all they could to ensure success in their business venture. Because you don't go into mine, or that of any of those who were at my table, it doesn't make you special. You're in the business of serving people. Not excusing bad experiences and then ending your incredibly verbose response with a snarky - and SO worn out - end. (If you're going to try to insult or make a joke, be imaginative. But I suppose that's not in your wheelhouse, either??) All that work just to negate what could have been considered an apology with two simple words, that show why demise of this place is imminent. Bravo. Do you also promote spitting in someone's food if they speak the truth on your service? But it's clear YOU wanted to veer off the pathway and justify repeated behaviors. Because, if your ears were open and your mouth was shut, you'd be hearing a lot more from the locals who once loved this place and now run like their hairs on fire. But keep responding. We need the town to truly see who you are as an owner, discounting experiences and making comments you think are funny. If it gets run into the ground, we'll all know why. I'm a long time Seattle resident (almost 50 yrs). I've been to this place many times and it was because of the "authentic Italian charm" as well as the food. I went here last night with some friends. Two local to WS and all of us born and bred here. We were waited on by a guy with long hair. He couldn't have been more snooty. (And I say that to be kind). He was patronizing and quite rude. I'm sure it was because we didn't order a ton of drinks or appetizers. I wanted linguini with red sauce. I don't eat meat. But that's what I wanted. He told me to get a different pasta dish with veggies. I hadn't had much time to decide and he was obviously "hurried". Food came out and of the 4, mine wasn't ready. "It'll be a few more minutes". Clearly he was rushing. Because I've never seen a table get "mostly" served and the host waiting. My food came out and the pasta was half done and half undercooked. I don't mind one way or the other, but make it consistent in the pasta. Not random bites. As we're eating, he comes out with an electric fly swatter. SWATTING FLIES AROUND OUR FOOD. Now, if you know anything about those devices, the fly "zaps" snd explodes. Yes. Explodes. While food is on our table and we're actively eating. This isn't even something I'd expect to see at Waffle House. (No offense to Waffle House) Finally, after food is cleared he takes the remainder to box up. When he comes back he tells us we "have 5-10 minutes before we have to leave". Excuse me? Oh. And I also bought a meal for take home, so it was 5 orders for 4 ppl. A couple of minutes later some woman comes by and tells us we have to leave. Period. We HAVE TO LEAVE. Let's not get into several other tables who were there before I got there, still sitting and drinking. Not even a folio on the table. So now we know why we' were kicked out. We weren't the "money making" table. A message to the new owners (whenever they took over) - yes, we'll leave. And NEVER come back. After decades of patronizing and recommending this place, no more. And to add insult to injury? Take a look at the photos I added. THIS is how they package your food. Leaked all over my car. And, the yo go salad had dressing on it. WHO PUTS DRESSING ON A SALAD TO GO? Is there ANYONE who enjoys a wilted salad?? The server was an arrogant db who probably would have stalked us out of the restaurant if I didn't tip him. (Which wasn't deserved but I didn't need this guy following me out). The owners ruined the "authenticity" of the place that everyone knew about for so long and charm we all cherished. Now the food is terrible and the service is worse. Olive Garden would have, by and large, been a better choice for dinner. (No offense to Olive Garden). PS we ran into some WS locals who have been around the neighborhood for decades. They said the same thing about this establishment. I would t be surprised if it shuts its doors one day. Word is quickly spreading about the atrocity this "restaurant" claims to be.
