Tonight was my first time coming to La Sexy. We were greeted so kindly and immediately felt welcomed. We were treated like family and my kids got some glow sticks and my husband and I were served a Mexican candy shot and everyone was so nice and would smile. We sat at a very comfortable and spacious booth and the food was absolutely amazing! I had the shrimp Diablo and it was 10/10 ! The portions were huge for my kids who ordered the chicken strips and fries. Food is good but they overprice on drinks. Pay attention to your bill if you come here as they tried charging me $75 for two margaritas and they were small. This place will try ripping you off so be careful if you choose on coming here. Food and service is really good but the ambiance, location is not in the best area. The mariachi band or whatever was playing there live was ridiculous and too loud. The only reason why I am giving it a 3 star is because of the service of the manager, I feel like when your employee is discussing something from the menu to a customer and she sees that, there should be no reason for her to nudge him or speak to him in a rude manner, she made me feel so uncomfortable, the employee apologized but there should not be a reason why a manager makes a customer feel uncomfortable. I was at La Sexy last Sunday September 1st and I had the best service experience with our server Miguel. Very enthusiastic and helpful at the time of ordering. Suggested to try the quesobirria tacos and May I say they were delicious. He made the experience an extremely fun and entertaining evening. I came here on a Sunday night to grab a Michelada since the name sounds like that's their speciality. I was not a fan of the Michelada but the mango Margarita was delicious. I later on ended up getting a bucket of Pacifico which was was cheap in price ($30) in my opinion. They show football games on the TV's and on the Sunday I went they had a live Banda. The food was pretty good, but not great. Went on karaoke night and was so loud, I was unable to talk with my company, or the waiter. If you order a shot of tequila, be prepared for a public display and a lot of "hands on assistance" taking the shot. You will not be able to enjoy/savor it as you'll be assaulted with loud noises and people forcing you to shoot it. It was a fun experience as a one off, but do not expect conversation if you go during karaoke night as it will be too loud. The server was nice enough of what we could hear and he even comped us some free food because he saw that we were unable to decide between two dishes and he brought us a sampler of both. Honestly this place has great micheladas would go back for those.... But the food noooo. I order a mix ceviche and langostinos and they were bland. The Langostinos had a little more taste but they didn't look fresh. The ceviche has no taste the mixed seafood looked like it was cooked in pure water than toss on my plate added a Bunch of tomato salsa with onions couldn't see or taste any pepinos. The waitress were very nice and attentive. The Ambiance well it was karaoke night (big mistake) bunch of drunk want to be Jenny Riveras singing actually yelling on the top of their lungs. From out of town, looking for an apres-dancing taco and this place did not disappoint! Boisterous live music, parties, this was a happening place at 10pm on Friday night! The street tacos were delish, beers were huge and the sexy Michelada chaser with tajin on the rim was yummy! Greeted by friendly staff AND a mariachi band playing live, fun music as we entered. Everything we ordered was absolutely incredible. The seafood was fresh and tasty and huge portions. Even my daughter's quesadilla was massive and delicious. There are flat screens on every wall with every sport playing (we were there on a Sunday afternoon so there were plenty to choose from).
