This used to be me and my husband's favorite place in El Paso.... I should also preface this with how patient my husband and I are with service workers, it's hard work and we are very grateful for them. Even subpar service warrants a 20% tip from us. We used to be in and out of here in under an hour each time we would come. Unfortunately, the last 3 or 4 times we have been here have been AWFUL experiences. Nothing could compare to tonight... we were sat quickly, our appetizers came in a decent-ish amount of time. Shortly after finishing, we order 2 rolls each... we sat and waited for these rolls for over an HOUR!! It was insanity and I was so over it. Not once did the waiter come around to explain the delay. Our rolls finally come and 3/4 rolls are wrong. We come often, I know what I like and I know what my favorite rolls look like. My husband had to get up and hunt our waiter down to let him know. I was ready to just leave after paying our bill. The waiter comes by with attitude telling me that those are the rolls that we ordered and even after explaining to him how I knew those were not our rolls, he refused to take them back. We were faced with the hard decision of fighting this waiter and getting these off our bill or sucking it up and eating them. Not only were these not my rolls but they not good in the slightest. My husband had to take one for the team and help finish them. Going up to the front counter to pay for our bill, we encountered 3 other couples who had similar experiences and just wanted to get the heck out of there. Other than the ridiculously rude and clueless waiter, this establishment has the worst management (or lack thereof). There is one waiter I want to give a shoutout to. The tall, slim, bald gentleman has been working here since we started coming and he has always given the best service!! We love coming here for dinner or lunch! We come from las cruces. This is a great place for AYCE especially sushi!! The sushi is always fresh and any item on the menu is delicious as we've almost tried them all. The restaurant has a fun vibe to it and it's a great place for Friends and family to go to enjoy dinner on a Friday night. The place gets busy sometimes but the wait is always worth it .. we've even waited almost 40 mins just to get a table that's how good it is!! read more

The So What: This is El Paso's newest sushi place. Along with sushi they have a FULL menu! Ok and? Here's the deal, FULL MENU, from YakiSoba to Sashimi, (see pictures), ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT! For $28! Dude... seriously look at the menu and every single appetizer to salad, fried ride to Philly roll... ALL YOU CAN EAT! Unlimited, full menu, $28! This place is now my place in El Paso! FOOD: Granted we have all been to 1-2 sushi's places that we swear is the BEST... from Japan to NYC, I have my list as well. But here? This is El Paso Texas - so grade on a curve and don't expect the freshest daily caught wild salmon (we can't even get rain, let alone fresh seafood). So with that in mind, please understand that this is one of the Top 3 as far as freshness and quality in the city! Honestly, I love it. I'm usually not one to complain but the girl serving us bluntly and angrily told us not to waste food. i understand their policy , but at this point we ate most of our food. Wellllll it is kinda sad that they upped the all you can eat price by $10 on the weekend, but it's definitely worth it. The food is high quality, and the rolls are all well portioned and authentic. Whether you're looking for traditional sushi and sashimi or more fusion type sushi, or even hibachi and hot items, this is the spot. The interior is so cute and instead of choosing from a buffet line you have an all you can order menu with everything made fresh for you (everything goes except some items can only be ordered once). Lol Unbeatable all you can eat sushi place! Incredible price, incredible quality, and incredible portions! You really get your monies worth already from ordering straight off the sashimi menu, but even more so with everything else! Endless sushi rolls, udon soup bowls, hibachi grill items, and all the yummy appetizers! Be mindful that if you don't finish something, you will get charged the rate plus the full price of whatever it is you don't finish. So don't be greedy and wasteful! Service was fair. Their food is super reasonably priced & the quality is awesome. As someone with a shellfish allergy their menu doesn't feel limited for me at all. They have a wide range of appetizers and dishes. Also their hot sake goes with their food really well. Service is attentive while also at the same time they don't rush you like they do at many other restaurants. We ordered a rainbow roll it was all avocado. Our orders were often wrong and we were still expected to eat the wrong order. Our waitress made full eye contact with me, looked at our empty table and empty drinks and ignored us 100%. We spent almost 2 hours there while trying to get our waitresses attention and were ignored, BUT she made sure to chase us when we left the building to make sure we only wanted to tip 15%.... For services we didn't even get!!!! This is the worst food experience I have EVER had in El Paso.... I can't wait for this place to be replaced. read more

where do I start. This place is absolutely horrendous. This place is not a buffet. Don't be fooled. $28.95 for all you can eat (you can choose anything from the whole menu) which seems pretty cool.. IF the food was great. Walking in, we were sat in an isolated awkward area infront of the restaurant while everyone else was sat with all other guests/customers. According to them, there was no room, yet every other customer walking in were sat where there was "no tables". Ordered the -Hibachi Salmon 2/10 * hibachi tasted like straight smoke, and mushy rice. -Sexy Tuna Jalapeño sashimi (4pcs) 2/10 * it actually came with 6pcs, sashimi is raw fresh fish. Mine was cooked.. - Shrimp tempura & veggies * Christ the "tempura" batter taste like pancake mix - sushi rolls * all the rolls we ordered, were full on rolls. Not sure if they are familiar with the "AYCE" concept. But typically you only get 2-4 pieces of sushi/sashimi BECAUSE it gives you the room to order MORE and be able to try more options.. weird.. Now for the service. - was not greeted. She actually yelled at us "HOW MANY" as she continued to do with all other customers that walked in. We let her know this was our first time, and she said "ok so look at the menu, pick any side of the menu".. lovely explanation! Felt very welcoming! Anyways, we asked for soy sauce and wasabi, and she said it wasn't able to be given to us until we get our rolls.. HUH?! she literally never checked on us because again, we were sat isolated from everyone else lol. She seemed very in a rush which makes sense, I don't blame her if it was extremely busy! It's all you can eat sushi... it's not bad, but not great either. Posted signage states not to waste food (which I understand), but it also says that you can be charged extra for uneaten food. This second part makes me feel like I need to finish items that I may not care for, or risk paying an additional fee, which isn't cool. At the end of the day, you can get your fill of much better sushi for the same (or less) money elsewhere. If you have a big appetite and quality is what you're looking for, then this might be right up your alley. read more

What really sets this place apart from other "all you can eat buffets" is that your food is made to order so it is fresh and very flavorful! Although you may think it can be pricey, I guarantee you will get your value worth with quality delicious dishes. We ordered some appetizers such as gyoza, edamame, dragon eggs, and tuna tartar. Definitely a solid start as the dragon eggs and tartar were brought with flavor. We proceeded to order a couple of specialty rolls. I think my favorite was the Texas roll, but they were all equally amazing, and I was surprised how good. Staff was friendly and attentive, and we did not feel rushed. The only item i did not like was aged tofu.. but to me tofu is hit or miss and not the biggest fan anyway. I recommend bringing a few friends to be able to order variety and try. You're not going to get any premium items (ikura, uni), but for the price it's a hell of a deal! Especially lunch at $18.95. The eel is very good. They have a good variety between nigiri, rolls, and kitchen items and everything I've tried has been good quality and tasted fresh. This would easily be a 4-5 star on food but the female servers seem like they go out of their way to be rude to customers, so 3 stars is the best I can do. read more
