I ordered a beef soup and it was very salty. It taste and smelled like maggi packet soup. The soup had three tiny hard pieces of beef.The rice was hard and not good quality rice. The soup was $17. I am Dominican and to call this Dominican food is embarrassing. Tried to give a local Dominican place a shot as we want to have a place to eat our traditional food when my wife doesn't have time to cook. I ordered the pig feet stew. The portion was small and to add to it was all bones with very little meat on it. The flavor was awful. Overly salty and not soft. There was barely a broth like it's traditionally made and what was there was just not good in flavor. The white rise is hard and the worse quality rice I have ever had, even the tostones we ordered weren't good. What should have had salt didn't and they weren't crunchy or good at all. All of the portions are small and bad in quality. The worse part is it was $17 for The plate. The tostones was a side I don't remember how much that was. I would not recommend this place. I'm not being picky and it's sad that it's bad but we need someone's Tia or abuela here to teach them how traditional or even close to traditional quality food should be. I get things are expensive but that qualify rice is unjustifiable. Oh I forgot to mention the beans, eagerly, flavorless and seemed like they just keep adding water to the beans. If I could give a negative star I would. That's how bad it was. On a positive note they did have Dominican bachata playing. But this is not a night club it's a restaurant and the food should shine above anything else. Sadly I will not return. read more

First timer. Food was delicious, we had the special of the day, rice, beans & pollo guisado, a side of tostones and the Chimi burger. The place is beautifully decorated and very lively in colors. Greta music for good vibes as well. Our server was very nice but the wait on the food was a little upsetting especially for it to not be steaming hot when it comes out. My partners food came out warm, not hot and I didn't get my plate till 4 minutes later. We only ordered 2 plates and a side. Only down side of the chimi, although it was very good, it was DRENCHED with sauce and the burger patty barely made up half of the bun, which was upsetting. We will be back but we will try different items. read more

Food was really good. The restaurant was very clean, good music and nicely decorated. I ordered the Chimi and the Domincan spaghetti, both were really good, fresh and very flavorful.
