Me and hubby walk in and are greeted immediately with a friendly hello. When we were seated, we told the man that seated us we were newbies. He brought us out our water and told us to take our time looking over the menu. When were were ready to order, we decided to just split the cuban sandwich and get an order of fries. When the food came out, (on two plates!!) we were so glad we did decide to split the sandwich. It was HUGE!! It was also SO GOOD!! Fries were nice and hot and crispy. I was so pleased to have a local place for my favorite Spanish-American food, as well as some regular American dishes. Hubby ordered breakfast and I ordered a Caribbean lunch - Pernil (roast pork) with rice and peas, plus a side order of tostones (fried plantains). This is their Tuesday special, and it was delicious bringing back memories of a dear friend's mother who would cook the same food at her NJ bodega.
