Shrimp tacos
Stacey R.

Great food, we ordered the plantains, and queso for apps they were delicious. For our meals i ordered the shrimp tacos on corn tortillas and i love them. My daughter ordered the grilled chicken tostadas came with 2 she said they were good and her fiancé ordered the steak burrito which was huge. The house margarita with good for only $7 and the seasonal apple cider margarita was awesome. We also got the churros for dessert with chocolate and Carmel sauce. All in all i would recommend this place the food coming out looked amazing. You had to wait online to order your food but it was very fast.

Terrible customer service. I would definitely not recommend the Easthampton location to anyone. Only part of my order was delivered and the food was very greasy and cold. will not be returning and will be sure to let people know about my experience. I even spoke to a manager who tried to lie. Very dissatisfied.

Mahi mahi tacos, side of guacamole, add rice and beans. Asked for cup of cilantro, self serve hot sauces from the sauce bar.

Pretty frickin fantastic taco experience. Huge menu, spacious, welcoming, hip atmosphere. Full bar. Lots of house made hot sauces. Free self serve tap water (tasted amazing) I had the mahi mahi tacos with side of guacamole and rice and beans. The tacos were huge with tons of fried fish and I almost regretted getting rice and beans for the extra $4. The guacamole was very flavorful, quite lemony. The fish was very hearty and meaty, closest thing to chicken I've eaten in a long time as a pescatarian. My co worker had beef tacos and said they were moist and delicious. Rice and beans were pretty generic but definitely had plenty of flavor, cooked perfectly. I loved it!

Impressive. Food was delicious, fresh and priced fairly. The atmosphere was also comfortable and relaxing. One of the best Mexican restaurants around and you don't have to empty your wallet to eat there. Portions are also generous and they have a small bar with craft beers and margaritas.

I've never had a bad meal here. It's also much better than the one downtown Northampton. The staff is also very friendly.

Really good food. Just kind of pricey, but that's only because I live in Tucson half the year and pay $2/taco out there. Very authentic.

Ask the Community - La Veracruzana

Is this place actually good? Because I'm Guatemalan/American, born and raised in California and the Mexican food out here is very, very, very bad every where I go out here except for El comalito in Amherst that's the first decent place I find...

Hey Daniel: They do a good job, but if you're a purist they might not be your cup of tea. But, I'd… Read more

Walking in, we had a big party so they were able to have us seat at the booth near the entrance…read more You do have to self-order at the counter but they do bring your food to the table. If you're ordering drinks, they usually will call your drink out at the bar. I was surprised that they didn't have chips n salsa as a complimentary snack for the table while the food is being made. I'm assuming it's due to this not really being a seated restaurant, where a server takes down your order. They have chips n guac available for purchase. The guac actually tastes delicious. I ordered la Sopa Azteca, it wasn't too bad...if you don't like too many oils in your soup I wouldn't purchase. I ordered the Plato Durango for my entree, as well as a side of rice, and to be honest, the entree wasn't even that warm when it was brought to me. I didn't enjoy it much. It's also incredibly expensive, my meal was $35 for just the soup, rice, and entree.

If you want good, authentic Mexican, go somewhere else. Let's start with the chips. They were cold,…read moreand they even charged for them. The salsa, while having a large variety, all lacked in flavor, seasoning, and spice. The chicken enchiladas tasted like water somehow. They are made with corn tortillas that just fell apart at just the first bite. The burrito bowl was the saddest thing I have ever seen. I mean, it was simply lettuce and chicken with unmelted, cold queso. The Pollo Ala Veracruzana was DRY. DRY. The tortillas were not properly warmed and felt like it had been sitting for a while. For our shrimp cocktail, it was too thick with not enough juice, filled with more onions than shrimp. On top of that, they gave us tortilla chips rather than saltine crackers. The seating was awful inside, and everything just felt off. However, they somehow perfected the rice.
