We were hungry for some tacos and wanted something more authentic than Torchy's Tacos. This place got rave reviews online so I was excited to try it out. First impressions are important and this place failed that test quick. It's located in a dimly lit shopping strip next to an auto repair shop. We went at night so it was dark and felt kind of shady. We couldn't tell if the place was open until we opened the door and saw a few people dining. My kids ordered tacos, I ordered a pambazo sandwich and we ordered chips and queso and guacamole for starters. We waited 15 minutes and still had not received our chips and guac and queso. When we finally got them, the chips were stale, the guacamole was good but the queso was super bland. It took another 20 minutes before the entrees started coming out one at a time. The food tasted average, nothing really stood out as exceptional or good. It was just fine. As far as ambiance goes, the staff was super friendly so I'll give them an A for that. The restaurant was dirty and the bathroom was gross. Overall, this was not a very good experience so we won't be going back.

Basing this on my food only. My husband gave it 5 stars becase he loved the chicken enchilladas. I had 1 pastor taco (best I ever had), 1 lengua taco (nothing special) and 1 bistek taco (no flavor and meat wasnt tender). Both the red and green sauces are spicy. Thank goodness they give you a pile of cucumbers with the tacos (which I thought was weird when I first saw it, but survived the burn by having them). There were only 2 other guests when we went on a Sunday for lunch. The food service was slow. The dining room was pretty basic with the napkin dispensers on the tables. The cheapy napkins like in a cheap diner. This was very affordable. Will go back based on my husband doing flips over his meal.

Great Spot next to the airport! I would drive by this taco spot after landing at the McKinney Airport and would wonder how the tacos are. When I asked some people at the airport they did not even let me finish in asking "how is that taco spot down the street?" They just said "it's so good, we go there all the time!" So I thought I would give it a try. And they were correct! I love local food spots, and ones with good tacos couldn't be better. I was shy in my ordering and just ordered 3 Carne Asada Tacos. When they came out I was perplexed at why they were red. I have never seen it cooked like that before. But I was hungry and took my 1st bite and I was impressed. It was very, very good. My tacos were made fresh so had to wait 5 or so minutes. If you land at McKinney Airport (TKI) and you are looking for food, ask the FBO to drive you over to Tacos Los Chanos and get some tacos! It's very convenient to the airport and is very good.

Not very often do I find a great taqueria....well today I did! First off, $1.00 tacos is a plus and they don't skimp on these babies! The barbacoa is incredible! Almost buttery. The chorizo is out of this world. I want to rub it on my face! The pastor is not too shabby...a little different, has kinda a BBQ twang to it. The bistek (which was actually pork chop) was mighty tasty! The fajita pollo was decent. Not greasy :) Green salsa was nice and pica but needed salt. Red salsa was smokey and dead on! Hope this place last. Way outside of town.

This place is awesome! We've been there 4 or 5 times and each time we have been so happy we went. The tacos, sopes, and gorditas are all amazing and make you want more. The salsas are pretty mild and flavorful yet make your mouth water. Super friendly staff even when busy. Can't wait to go back!

Legit street taco's is really all that I HAVE To say about this place. Tucked away in a industrial area this hole in the wall makes good Mexican food. Its always my go-too spot when I am in the area working.

This restaurant has some really fun decor! You walk in and it immediately feels like a party because it is decked out! We sat outside on the adorable patio because we brought our dog with us. That's another plus! You can bring your dog! The patio is completely covered and has plenty of fans and heaters depending on the weather. It looks like there are even screens that come down when needed, so another plus! Their happy hour drinks are $5. A $5 margarita? YES! I didn't get to take pictures of everything because I was just so in awe of the quality of the food, drinks, and service. I had a taco salad, and my husband had a quesadilla. We also tried the deviled eggs and they were so good. Everything was a 10/10. We can't wait to come back!

Unfortunately my wife's chicken quesadilla did not hit the way we hoped it would. Small bits of chicken and very very little cheese inside which was weird, Have to give a quick shout out to the chips and salsa, esp the green salsa. The green salsa was some of the best I ever had. We'll be back.

My wife said it reminded her of Chipotle. She really liked it. Spicy Chicken Burrito I like spicy food but this chicken did not have much heat at all. I added green salsa for a bit more kick and it was still barely spicy. Red salsa and Cholula helped a little. The burrito also had beans, white rice, and shredded cheese. It tasted good just not as spicy as advertised. Pricing Bowl and burrito are $10.69 each. You can make it a combo for an extra $5.79 with queso chips or order guac chips for $5.99 or salsa chips for $4.99. Our dinner for two was $34.97 not including tip. Overall - new place looking for new customers. Good food, decent portion sizes, clean place, and friendly service. If you like Chipotle you will probably enjoy Dos Bros. New spot worth checking out.

Found it on Yelp (thanks y'all) and with the high ratings, I knew I was in for a treat. The "restaurant" is really just a window in the back corner inside the convenience store, with a small table and a few stools for anyone "eating in". Nothing quite matches the experience of sitting on a wobbly stool watching people buy cigarettes and lotto tickets while eating bomb tacos, honestly. I got myself 4 tacos, and I could've eaten more as they were SO good. I had 2 steak tacos, one chicken with jalapeño, and one that was chorizo and beef. The steak ones were my favorite. Prices are average, and service was friendly and quick. Dont expect luxury accomodations, but expect amazing tacos. Del Sur is delicious, with everything made to order. The tortillas are excellent, their homemade salsa are spicy in the best of ways, and every taco I've tried, and I've tried MANY, are all top notch! Don't worry about ambiance, it's a taqueria. The place is clean, the prices are on point, and the food is FABULOUS. The only drawback, and it's a very minor one, is that they don't sell drinks, you have to purchase your beverages separately. It's a minor inconvenience, but you're in a gas station/convenience store, so there's like a gaggle of different drink options for you. There no need for me to list off specific tacos, they're literally all great!
