This location is a complete joke. They don't tell you when you check in that they have only one tech working and 2-3 checking people in. The waiting room was packed with at least 10 people standing. Blood draws do not take very long, with adequate staff this could be avoided. read more

Wow! Best facility I have ever been to for bloodwork. The waiting room is roomy, clean and welcoming. I was seen exactly on time for my appointment but if you can't get an appointment they offer walk-ins as well and there were only two other people in the waiting room when I arrived at 9am. My daughter is currently 8 months old but when she was around 2 months we needed to have her blood drawn once ever two weeks due to her jaundice. This is the second time I've made an appointment and was asked to wait at least 45 minutes until being seen. On both occasions, I arrived 15 minutes early to each appointment as instructed by Labcorp. Common sense tells me that if you're running behind like that, to reach out to the patient to reschedule. However no such contact was ever made. Unacceptable. Also, you're instructed to leave urine samples on an unattended cart outside the restroom where anyone can tamper with or swap it. The lobby was very clean, quiet and the thermostat was set appropriately. This is the lab I always go to for my routine bloodwork. If you go without an appointment, it's very hit or miss on if it will be busy or not. The staff is usually friendly. Every once in awhile I encounter someone at the front desk who seems a bit rushed. The phlebotomists are always kind and professional. I had a pleasant experience at this lab and liked that they have Saturday hours. After moving to town I wanted to get established with a family doctor. She wanted to run bloodwork as a baseline since I was a new patient. At the time I was working all of the hours that normal labs are open and didn't have the flexibility to miss time. Then I found this location and that they open at 7 am on Saturdays. I arrived about 5-10 minutes after 7 on a Saturday and signed in. There were already 15-20 people ahead of me and the waiting room was close to full. I was worried by the number of people ahead of me that it was going to be a long wait. It ended up being about an hour between the wait, paperwork, and actual blood draw. I didn't think that was too bad since they are one of the few places even open on Saturdays. The phlebotomist was very friendly and made nice conversation. I imagine she is helpful to people that are nervous about getting bloodwork done. She was pretty quick too. read more

I go to this location all the time for my labs and it is by far the best lab I have been to...they are exceptional ! They treat you with respect and are so helpful. What more can you ask for ???? Daniel and Tie at the front desk are so efficient and friendly and Bri and Lena taking samples are amazing. Sometimes you wait to be called back but that is to be expected with how busy everyone in healthcare is now adays. I made my appointment to have my blood test drawn for 7:30 on a Thursday morning. I arrived at 7:30. The waiting area was completely full. Without an appointment, it would be at least an hour wait before getting the blood test performed. They have a new kiosk system. Easy to use and allows you to check in automatically by putting your driver's license under a scanner. Big Improvement. Helps speed things along. I had a very pleasant phlebotomist who used a butterfly needle to minimize the discomfort. Most importantly, I was back in my car a half an hour after arriving. It really paid to have an appointment. read more

I made my appointment online 2 weeks in advance. This is the fourth Labcorp that I have used in the area. After today, this will be the one I go to from now on. There is a large waiting room, professional people running the front desk, and it was not insanely busy. I waited about 15 minutes total. Not too bad. They were able to have 4 people go to the back to have their blood work done. My only problem was my own fault...I had a UA ordered on my labwork, and I misunderstood that I could drink water 12 hours prior to my appointment. I thought that I was not allowed water, and therefore I could not do my UA. I was told that before they brought me back for my blood work, I first had to give them a UA specimen. I didn't wish to wait, so I had to refuse that. Oh well, now I know. Although this is a walk-in clinic, I had to go on a Saturday and made an appointment online. It was about a week and a half wait to find an opening, but it worked out for me. The appointments are every 15 minutes, and they fit the walk-ins in between these times. read more

Leslie at the front desk was super kind. I was asking her questions about billing and she was very helpful. Trish who did my blood stick got it in the first attempt and with zero pain. The facility was superclean. This is the first place that I never wait very long to have my blood drawn. I have come here several times because I have to have my blood drawn every two weeks and I have never waited even 30 minutes. At quest labs I'm sometimes there for two hours or more and it's dirty and loud. I'm glad my doctor chose CPL as her choice to have lab work done she feels that they are better equipped for my needs read more

My husband went in there for a UTI test over a week ago and never got the results. He tried calling.... (do not waste your time) and wrote to customer service. No reply. His doctor never got the results either. He finally walked in and they could not find it. Finally, after 40 minutes, the girl got a response from a call she made. But she forgot about my husband who was waiting there. My husband had an account set up (labcorp portal) and that was also fruitless. Bottom line, we are done with this place. They were fast with there check in process and urine collection but there was no running water and I find that disgusting. Especially in the time that we are with our Covid pandemic I feel like handwashing is one of the most important things that we need right now in the prevention of spreading germs. Then to think you have to touch all those pens, keys and electric devices that they have in there to use. Customer after customer who are unable to wash their hands with soap and water. Yes they have hand sanitizer but everyone knows it's not as effective as soap and water. Oh also there was no seat covers for the toilet seat. I just found this place disgusting. read more

I've found the absolute messiah of phlebotomy named Kat at this Labcorp location. She is fun and actually cares about the people she draws blood from. I had a nightmare of an experience years ago in LA where a phlebotomist was on her cell phone arguing while attempting to draw my blood. The unprofessional LA phlebotomist, inserted a regular size needle penetrating my skin first, then started to dig the needle around to find a appropriate vein, causing my arm to turn brown, blue and purple! Kat, on the other hand, listen to my terrible experience and my fear of needles and was kind enough to use a butterfly needle instead! She really knew how to address my fears and I truly appreciated her obliging my requests. This was second visit to LabCorp and I found them to be very professional. I did not have an appointment but they took me in very quickly.

I never even got to have my urine sample taken. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment. I tried to show the front desk the paper I was emailed in regards to it. I was ignored and told to check in at the tablets and I would be called shortly after. After I did the check in, I went back to the desk just to make sure everything was good. They said yes and I would be called in a few moments. I waited until 1:15pm, my appointment was at 1:05pm. I went back to the front desk, and I was never checked in, despite being told I was. Then, another 20 minutes later, I get told that I can't be seen because my appointment time has already passed. I would need to call my employer for a new number. An hour of my time, along with the price of gas there and back, to be told that despite being there early, I was late and that's my own problem. A terrible practice, with absolutely no help or concern for anything. Glad to see Nevada is still holding strong for having awful medical services. read more

My paperwork was processed and my blood was drawn. Total time from walking in to walking out was 10 minutes. I tried booking an appointment online and the website keep saying something is wrong. I came here and waited in the waiting room. I watched 12 people came and go. It's been 60 minutes and I'm still waiting fir a drug screening. I'm about to pee in my pants. What is going on here. I checked with the lady in the front desk and she said I have to wait. The customer services at this location was great! Front Reception staff was great. Was greeted from the moment I walked in. They had a very convenient check in kiosk that collected all of my information so there was no need to fill out long paperwork. I don't think I waited even 10 minutes before I was called in by the phlebotomist. The phlebotomist was very friendly. She made me feel comfortable and at ease, especially since I hate needles. It was actually quite painless and quick. I wish I got the young women's name that helped me she was really nice, great customer service! Getting blood drawn is never fun and I usually have the tendency to faint after getting my blood taken. So the fact that I'm giving this place 4 stars says a lot. There were quite a few people ahead of me when I arrived, but they called my name after about 5 minutes. The ladies that were taking blood were super nice and really easy to talk to. I told them that I pass out sometimes and they were super accommodating to it and let me lay down on the bed. They were talking to me the whole time to get my mind off of my fears and it worked. Super easy and I just felt a small pinch from the needle. The whole process from walking in to walking out was about 10 minutes. The first time I came here was after I waited 40 minutes at the Quest across the street for them to tell me that they don't take blue cross blue shield anymore. I came over here with a Quest form and they took the time to translate the codes over to theirs and got my blood work done without having to come back with a new form. Excellent LabCorp location. Walked in without an appointment around 11.30 on a weekday and barely had to wait. Daniel at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There was some confusion/mixup about which labs were ordered for me (Dr.'s office's fault, not theirs), and Daniel was very helpful and patient in getting it resolved. I was taken back quickly and the phlebotomist was efficient and skilled. Also, kudos for excellent HIPAA compliance. P.S. Being in my mid-30s, I've had my blood drawn many a time. It's one of my least favorite things to do - not a fun experience. I find it all depends on the phlebotomist though - everything from their demeanor to how they stick you with the needle. I've had orders barked at me from someone with zero personality to having someone just about stab me with the needle & making my arm bruise. When I went to have my blood drawn @ LabCorp, however, it was nothing but pleasant! I was greeted by Kat right away when I walked in - eye contact, smile and everything! It's amazing how often that's missed. And it turned out that Kat was the one to draw my blood as well. She was very friendly and I was at ease as we chatted about this & that. She just felt so genuine and easy to talk to. When she drew my blood, she was gentle but so quick I hardly felt a thing - seriously! Then the kicker - when I was exiting the door from the back, the person checking in requested her by name and said they'd wait til she was available. I was impressed! I didn't even know you could request the phlebotomist. I'll definitely be coming back to this location for draws in the future and I'll be sure to request Kat. Highly recommended! read more
