I don't know how other LabCorp offices operate, but it sure is worse than the Quest labs I have used for 10 years. First of all the appointment system is hard to use because they have NO MORNING APPOINTMENTS in my area for the next 45 days. Secondly, when I made an appointment, no email or text confirmation was sent. NONE. Thirdly, the website is so over complicated for booking an appointment, you get the idea they really hate their customers. When I showed up for my appointment, they didn't have it. I figured as much since they never sent an email confirmation. Then they tried to tell me my insurance card did not have the correct number on it. I explained its the only card I have and its fine for everyone else I see. After 30 minutes of waiting, they told me they would accept my insurance but I might have to pay for the lab work later if they don't get reimbursed. I told them no thank you. I left. A week later, after my primary care doctor talked with them, they took me in and took my blood. The technician had a horrible body odor. I mean come on dude, take a shower before work and use soap. Why don't his colleagues tell him? I didn't say anything because he had a needle and I wanted to be polite. There is something really wrong with this corporation. I'm pretty sure they are giving the insurance companies a lowball price per test, and that's why they don't care how they treat human beings. I guess I can safely say I don't respect this company. Quest treated me with dignity, clean fresh staff, and a good way to make an appointment. OMG, that reminds me, the Labcorp office itself is filthy. They need new janitor services. read more

Horrible off the bat. I had a drug screen test. I had all my paperwork ready, they told me I had to email my registration paper to them which doesn't make sense. The front desk people have no clue what they're doing at all. I had an appointment at 2:45pm and wasn't taken back till 3:20pm. I sat in a room in the back for at-least 40 minutes without anyone coming to check on me, or NOTHING. My boyfriend was waiting in the lobby and told me that 10 people came in and out, and I haven't even been helped with in the back. Horrible customer service, I finally got up and asked for someone to finally take me to just get a URINE DRUG TEST. All I had to do was pee in a cup and they made me wait for over an hour and 15 minutes. NOBODY knows what they're doing in there at all. It's beyond crazy. Made it so difficult just for me to get a urine drug screen done. I recommend to anyone that needs to do a drug screen, DON'T COME HERE. DO BETTER. read more

Their computer system was down when I walked in that day. After calling my doctor's office to faxed over and the doctors office called to follow up on my lab order they left it unattended for another 15 minutes. They ended up not using the fax after all. In addition, they lost my insurance card and instead of searching for it or telling me that they'll look for it and send it to me later kept insisting that I searched my bag, pockets and the lobby area to make sure that I didn't drop it. I understand unexpected things like technology to fail, but the staff seem very inexperienced and unorganized. I was there for two hours for what should be a routine blood work. After I left they did call to let me know they found my insurance card and I can come back and pick it up. Given the mess and the pay parking lot situation I called back and request that the card be sent to me. A month later no sign of my card in the mail. read more

I needed to get a drug screening done for a job I am starting soon, in the email I received and on their website it says drug screenings can be done between 11:30am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. I showed up just before 11am in order to ensure I could get my screening done as I heard wait times are long and they close from 12-1pm. I was rudely told that they only do drug screenings from 1pm-3pm by the lady at the front desk. I let them know that their website and emails say otherwise, but she would only repeat that they only do them from 1pm-3pm like a broken record instead of offering any other explanation/apology/solutions. I know it's not her decision to make but it's pretty weird I can only pee in a cup for 2 hours out of the day. read more

No one likes going to get lab work done, let's be honest. This Labcorp was clean and bright, and the staff was kind. I walked in, signed in on the kiosk, and only waited for maybe about 5-10 minutes. The phlebotomist was able to get my blood drawn after one try. It was only slightly painful, but overall was smooth. read more

This was my second visit to Labcorp in Laguna Hills, with both visits being very similar in nature. Today, I arrived in the morning for my appointment to a half filled filthy waiting area and waited 15 minutes. The people who work here yell and shout. I was later told they do so deliberately because many of the patients are hard of hearing. I was called back to where my blood would be drawn barely hearing my name over the screaming. I sat and waited for close to another 15 minutes before anyone entered. There was no privacy. I could see the unisex restroom from where I sat. I watched a man come out confused wondering where his room was and where to place his sample (on a community tray placed between a patient and an employee). It took 3 employees to help him find where his room was. I sat in an open room where my information and blood was taken with no privacy. I needed a urine sample so I was directed to the restroom which was filthy. There was urine on the seat and floor.The toilet was dirty everywhere (seat, lid, tank). I requested to have the toilet cleaned. The same person who drew my blood got a paper towel and gloves and begrudgingly wiped the seat off. Still, the bathroom and toilet were filthy. I was instructed to place my sample on the community tray and just leave it. I was waiting to do that while a patient and employee were communicating.The employee ordered me to set it down between them. I told her that I did not want to interrupt them as they were taking, so I was waiting. She quickly yanked it from me and placed it on the tray with all the other samples. Upon leaving, I noticed the waiting room was now filled with people, and even dirtier than when I first arrived. read more

Took my mom yesterday as the RSM location was TEMPORARY CLOSED - without any notice on the website - so at 2:40 I had to drive my 76 year old mom to Lag Hill's location without her walker so we could get her blood draw before they closed - since MV location closed at 3:09 smh - ok so I take my mom to the LH location we walk in nobody is in the waiting room great - I check her in and sit . Waiting and waiting - the front office chick doesn't say anything - 5 mins later a couple walks in and checks in ( we all use the computer system ) they sit . Couple mins later another two people walk in they check in - mind you were STILL WAITING ! Now in RSM location , walk in or appt if we walk in and we're there first and a good 5 mins before anyone else - we would have been called first but no wait / two more people walk in and one more making 5 people - it's now been over 35 mins we were sitting there and everyone else was called up and back - ok I walked up and said - what's up ? We were here first yes as a walk in but you don't just ignore us and make a walk in that was here FIRST - in an empty room wait for every appt you have for the day then take my elderly 76 year old mom - RSM would never do this and I am not ok with this and I will be making a complaint about this ! She said oh she is next - really ? Went back and had about a 4 min wait and got a friendly draw lady but she hurt my mom - never ever again coming to this location - EVER !! First off this places charges you for parking. And the longer you are there, the more expensive the parking. And the wait is always long. So your only other option is to park at what used to be laguna hills mall and then walk over. Aside from that, they never ever answer the phone. But let's be honest, this is true of all labcorp locations. Can't they pay someone to actually pick up the phone? Bad bad bad service. And most importantly, the people working here can't find a vein. They could not take my blood. Because I know the people here are usually unskilled, I specifically asked the front desk for "their most experienced person". Then the girl who brings me back can't find a vein and says she is going to go get someone more experienced to help her. What!!!! Why didn't they start by giving me the most experienced person when I had already requested that?! So then another girl comes over, stabs me a few times and still can't find a vein. This is supposedly their experienced person. Had to leave and go elsewhere. And because I had to fast for this bloodwork I had to keep fasting and go somewhere else until I could find someone who knew what they were doing. So disappointing. Never coming back here. read more

Went here to get a drug test done. I went to 2 other places before going to this clinic in Laguna Hills. Mission Viejo clinic was temporary closed, Aliso Viejo clinic, I was so lost... no signs of the clinic or laboratory location regardless of following my GPS. My 3rd try was good, it was easier to find and lots of parking spaces. The only downfall was that the parking cost $1.00 per 30 minutes, if you're over 30 minutes or less than an hour, you're charged $2.00... it's a small fee but still shouldn't have to be paying for parking. Be sure to park outside so you can get free parking. Do not go to the parking structure area. read more

I stopped to have a blood test at a blood test center in Laguna Hills. I got their about an hour early so that I could take a few outside photos. The place was nice and clean. I had to type my name and other information on a computer consul that took me a while since I forgot my reading glasses. Then I waited about 35 minutes to have my blood drawn which was pain free in my case. The lady was nice and friendly and took about 10 minutes. IT was one of those fasting blood tests that my doctor needed. My doctors appointment is for Friday morning so I hope she gets the results before then. *NO STARS Where to begin? My mother had an appointment at 2pm today, Thursday. It was for pre-op bloodwork for an emergency surgery. She cannot walk until the surgery is done. We had an extremely hard time finding the entrance. There are no signs, and the entrance to the building is directly in front of the OC Bus stop- you cannot load passengers it's all a red zone. Don't bother calling as the line will ring and ring and ring and nobody answers. Leave a voicemail, nobody calls back. Labcorps offers you to "wait in the comfort of your car" but I'm not sure why they send that out to patients, as you have to park in a structure on the opposing side of the building, walk to their building, then go to the fourth floor. I finally arrive- mom is not with me yet as I cannot find the location and I won't drag her along in pain to somewhere I don't know. Their doors aren't open, only 15 signs stating their lunch hours and other business hours. I barge inside the heaviest door imaginable to find the waiting room full of ALL PATIENTS 80 years old and up. Nobody at the front. Finally a woman comes to the front. I told her we tried calling and she responds with "I've been answering the phones all day." Ok, fine. My mom still needs her blood work done. I ask the front desk, "do you have a wheelchair or is there one in this building I can use to transfer my mom?" She tells me no- and to go to the entire next building adjacent to go and see if there's one. Thanks for your no help. I get my mom into the waiting room finally, and I asked if I was able to use one of their 7 rolling office chairs, (such a large front desk area for nobody to be behind) because by this point she's crying in pain and the entire waiting room is staring at her. I roll her into the back to get her testing done. Absolutely disgusting bathroom. The area they collect the urine samples are out for everyone, and anyone to come by and do whatever they will. There's got to be some health code violation. Ok here's the cherry on top for those who've made it this far. I ask if I can wheel my mom to the car in their chair. This woman actually told me "no. I don't want to get in trouble." Over an office chair?! Asinine. Listen Karen, I don't want your nasty rolling office chair, I want to get my mom out of this disgusting place and since your facility doesn't have a wheelchair in SIGHT with all of these elderly people, the rolling chair was my only option. The woman who drew my moms blood was fabulous but everything else about this experience makes me want to vomit. read more

LABCORP doesn't run their business well. They are understaffed for the amount of customers. Trying to make an appointment online means you will have to wait 2-3 weeks out. The people with appointments were still having to wait as there were 30 plus people waiting. After our check in, it took over 1.5 hours to get our blood drawn. The computer system platform doesn't work well either. I have a signed up account with an email and password and it tells me I have no such account, yet I get many marketing emails from Labcorp. They need to run their business so much better. I soooo prefer Quest over them! read more

The main positive here is that they have Saturday morning appointments open. Other than that, the experience has been lacking so far. First, the parking. Luckily, I didn't have to pay for parking on a Saturday morning, but why would you charge patients to park? FYI Labcorp doesn't validate parking. Second, the office. The guy helping out at the front was nice enough. The rest, not so much. There are signs directing people who have appointments or are walk-ins to different areas, yet they have another sign saying people with appointments should stand in the walk-in line. What is the point of having two separate line signs when you have a third that tells everyone to get in the same line? That caused some confusion. When I was called up to fill out paperwork, the person helping me out was behind a thick sheet of opaque glass that couldn't be moved. Who designed that? I had to reach around just to pass paper back and forth with her. My phlebotomist was very curt, but she did her job and I wasn't bruised, so I was fine with that. Third, the results. I already got a call from my physician's office saying that my results were good. When I looked online a couple days ago, Labcorp said my results would be ready on the 10th. So I waited and checked this morning. Now it says it's the 11th. I'm not sure when I'll be getting my results, but based on other reviews here, I'm not going to hold my breath. I can only imagine what people feel like who don't have normal blood results and are wanting to look at what's wrong. read more

I needed a fast free blood test for surgery. Tried for 2 weeks to make an appointment. Finally got a 1:30 pm appt. arrived on time check in there and waited over an hour. Finally had waited what I thought fast free appointment should take and went to see the lady in charge. Found her in her office feet up on her cell phone. I told her my problem that I had to have this blood work done and get my pre op doctors appointment which I was already late waiting so long. There was 35 people waiting in the waiting room and the halls outside. They had 2 people to take care of all that many people waiting. My doctor is now letting me wait to see him. If I can't have my pre op today my surgery on my back will be cancelled and I will have to wait until the surgeon has another opening. This Lab Corp should be ashamed on how they treat people. You should never have to wait one hour and twenty minutes when u have an appointment. Hope everyone uses another company or at least another location. Not sure how bad the others are. Worst, unorganized lab I have ever been too. Made an appointment both times I've had to come, first time the lost my orders, took 45 min to find out they didn't have it, then 30 min to receive it from the Dr office, fax issues then with the disorganization I ended up being there and hour and 30 minutes longer than I needed to be. Second time, during Covid-19, scheduled a 930 appt figuring it wouldn't be packed with the covid rules, MISTAKE, they have multiple appts scheduled at the same time, over crowded, system problems yet again. Checked in, waited 50 minutes till I flagged someone down to get me in and then waited 10 minutes for her to do my docs, then another 20+ for them to call me back. People waiting over 3 hours without an appt is NUTS. Only 2 people taking labs, seriously? Not to mention they are slower than the dmv just to do a draw. The lady at the counter with the accent needs to be trained on customer service, very rude. People waiting are pissed off. Gave the 1 star because I had to, woyld give them negative 10. Never coming back. Finally saw Neveen she was the sweetest person there!! Deserves a raise and should have her teach others customer service!!!! read more

I have a surgery next week so I was going to have to go to quest diagnostics after my LabCorp appointment. I just happened to ask if I that would too much blood loss! As soon as I asked the question a WONDERFUL Supervisor popped in told me that If I go get my lab request for Quest from my car they could take care those for me too! No need to go to Quest!!! Terrible place! Do not schedule anything here. Will be telling my employer to not use their service! I had a 12pm appointment set for finger prints and I showed up early and was told they go to lunch until 1pm. I come back at 1pm and was told that their finger print person goes to lunch from 1pm - 2pm. As of this review I'm still waiting and it's 20 minutes past 2pm and still have no idea when I'm going to be helped. The finger print persons name was "Tiffany". On another note.. they are extremely unprofessional with each other. I witnessed another employee trying to assist an elderly lady and she asked a question to one of her seniors and she snapped at her and asked condescending questions in front of everyone as if she was trying to embarrass her. So it seems like this is also an extremely terrible place to work. Don't ever take your business here even if it's convenient. You will save yourself a whole day by going somewhere else. read more

Worst costumer care I have ever seen. People where being told that the wait time was1hr 30 mins without appointment with an appointment it's about 45 minutes. Oh and the only way to get an appointment is online which most of their patients can't do because they are computer illiterate seniors. Oh yeah and the staff clearly doesn't get along. They were talking trash about an employee who had the nerve to as for her 10 min break. I can't believe that they would do this in front of their clientele. A horrible, filthy place with rude service at counter Some rude woman tosses a coffee type cup to me and says to "have your mother pee in the cup." Mom is in a wheelchair and 91. The restroom was disgusting with other cups of urine all over the ledge. Repulsive. We wouldn't do it. There is no sterility where blood is drawn. Some person gets up leaving germs all over and they dont wipe or clean. I am calling medical and health over the filth and will keep posting about their rudeness. Just awful people. Get other jobs. I am going to follow this ailthhole till it closes. It serves people from Laguna Woods and treats them as a pain rather than civil and nice. read more

Please do not waste your time in this place. The front desk staff are unfair and unprofessional. I took my 3 year daughter for blood draw. We walked into a lobby full of ppl. The lady who checked us in, said there is a wait. Patiently waiting, the entire lobby emptied and filled again, half of the second rounded were called back, and we are still waiting. Finally after 90 mins I walked and asked the staff. She said we 8 ppl ahead of your daughter. How ks it even possible. I was sitting right across the kiosk and check in desk, only a couple of people presented with appointments, and the rest were walkins like me. They lady white blond, unprofessional, and lied like I am not a human being and not understanding and see. Please donot go this lab, specifically if you are with a child. I had to wait over 30 min for checkin even though I had a scheduled an appointment online. This resulted in me passing the time I had scheduled as a result of the wait I was given a new time which resulted in another hour of waiting. Why is there a scheduling system when you end up having to checkin at the facility? Very unorganized only a single lady to check everyone in and not enough staff. In the UCI Health Building.....even though I had an appt, with specific instructions for check-in, nothing works... I had to check in again in office and they still didn't have me in their system!! I had to remind them of my appt time which had passed, finally got called and no one around. Just sitting patients in chairs waiting!! Avoid this inefficient mess if you can!!! read more

This place was quick and employees were kind. Came for a urinalysis/drug screening without an appointment. Busy office, right off the elevator. Tiffany checked me in with a smile and friendly attitude. I probably waited 30-50 mins to be seen, but they had a movie going in the waiting room which was helpful in passing time. I also expected to wait at least that long without an appointment. The technician was friendly and sweet as well, worked with haste as I was already doing the "pee dance". I would recommend setting an appointment AND having patience as these are human beings also and doing their job as efficiently and quickly as possible. I would come back to this location again, if I had to. Also, park in the Nordstrom parking lot to avoid paying for parking. They don't validate, but there's a HUGE lot conveniently across the street so take advantage. Give these people the respect they deserve for the customer-facing job they're doing, not to mention on their feet all day. You will get kindness, if you give it. read more

After an hour they said I was next when I asked. 15 minutes later brought back. 20 minutes later still sitting in phlebotomy chair. I think they have one person drawing all the blood. When I first got here, I had a DMV flashback. However, they got me in pretty quickly keeping pretty close time to my appointment despite the waiting room being full. Also, the person who did my draw was excellent despite my veins not wanting to cooperate. (It was also nice that the Site Coordinator came over and helped when my vein temporarily stopped). It's clear they are doing the best they can given their resources. Self check-in is a nice feature, but I can see where not everyone will know how to use. As other people have pointed out, they do not validate for parking nor is there easily accessible street parking as there are signs up saying the parking is property of the city (or something to that effect). Who knows if they ticket? However, I did not want to take a chance. Also, the mall is close, but there is a lot of construction going on. Also, there are signs up saying "no medical building parking". P.S. One of the technicians said the RSM location is a lot less busy if you're willing to drive that far. read more

Went on a Saturday due to my busy schedule. I had an appointment and arrived 30 minutes early. Like other reviewers, I experienced long wait times and ambivalent staff. The check-in machine was not working, and there was no sign to advise of that. I was there just for a urine test, and no one seemed to know that or care until I re-approached the desk and said, "I can't hold it anymore." The tech I told immediately coached the receptionist in front of me that she should have been separating the work orders between urine and blood tests. I was then promptly directed to the back bathroom. To think I could/should have been taken care of right away instead of waiting an hour is why I am giving 2 stars. This office is disorganized and no one in charge seems to care. I witnessed one patient yell at the receptionist and walk out after he had been waiting over an hour for a blood test. He was diabetic and hadn't eaten for the test. I also overheard one staff member tell another patient, "The wait times are out of my control; I just work here." Next time I need a test of any kind, I will go elsewhere. read more

Bad experience. I had to come here to get drug tested for a Nursing job I got. My employer instructed me to come here and the hours they had listed was 7am-5pm and to schedule an appointment. I call multiple times, but no one answers. I try their call center and they don't take appointments on the call center and I'm instructed to go the website to schedule. I check the website and the website is all booked all week, but my employer said to get it done within 3 days. I show up after work at 4pm and it's closed despite their hours of operation. There's a paper on the door saying 7am-4pm. Annoying but it's okay. I hold off my morning plans the next day and walk in first thing in the morning. After some time waiting in the lobby, they tell me drug testing isn't until 9am. No where is this stated! I was there at 7am and have to take time to leave again and return again. I told them that I was calling multiple times, but no answer. They said they are aware about the phone issues. If you want to waste a lot of time, come here. If not, ask your employer to please pick another location. Also, there's a fee for parking. Edit: I finished the drug test and I'm glad it's over. By the time I got back to take the drug test, the lady helping me was very rude. Admittedly, I was in a bad mood already as I had to come back 3 times due to their poor communication since their phones are literally non operational. She asked me how I was and I said annoyed because of the situation and having to wait an hour and a half. Her rely is "Well then wait", I say but I had to leave a bit to do things. She said, "Okay well NOW they are done." Taking back by how rude she was I was able to step out of how upset I was. Later while I wait for her to complete the paperwork, I notice the St Patrick's day decor and asked if the day was St Patrick's day and she says, "You don't put up the Christmas tree on December 25th do you?" a simple no would be suffice, but okay. Who ever that lady is, I hope she's well she doesn't seem well. Don't go here. The employees would appreciate less business since they appear to really hate working there and you will have a better day going somewhere else. Win-win read more
