This was my first visit to Lace Nails. I have been visiting another Nail Salon over the past two years that is a little further out and high priced. It was time to try something new. This nail salon was selected based on current Yelp reviews (thank you fellow Yelpers) and location. I stopped in quickly as a walk-in and it was very crowded on a Friday night. I decided to make an appointment for the next morning to avoid the mad rush and have to wait. The salon appears to have invested in an online scheduling system that must be complex because it took the woman at the front desk at least 10-15 minutes to book my appointment (a nail fill with gel and a pedicure with the gel). This morning I went back and I was the first customer. How nice, I had my cup of coffee, there was no crazy rush and it was quiet and peaceful. When I checked in I let them know I wanted to change my appointment to a basic mani and maintain my pedi with gel. That again took the staff time to update their system. In addition between booking my appointment the evening before and sitting in the chair, I think I have received approximately 16 text messages. This has to be fixed. There is a point where you need to look at your process and realized you have over-engineered something that should be so simple. The staff are nice; they didn't speak much. That was ok by me as I enjoy my self-care typically just relaxing, reading, or reflecting on my day. The service was fine - I would say average. Nothing wrong but nothing special either. The massage was a bit too soft for my liking. The price was a bit high for my liking, but I would also say comparable to other salons in the area (which I still believe are a bit high for nail services). The plus was that this service all together was done in an hour. At my previous nail salon, it seems to take them approximately 2.5 hours. I'm going to continue my search for a new nail salon. I wouldn't say I wouldn't come back, but this also didn't feel like my new regular place to visit either.

Update: 4.5 stars instead of 4 but it doesn't allow. On the 17th of this month my index finger and middle finger chipped on the corners, I'm not generally hard on my nails so I was confused and kinda bummed it happened especially since it's only 5 days after I got them done. First picture (acrylic set) was done May 25th, first time ever at this specific salon and they did an amazing job! There was absolutely no lifting until a couple days ago but not to the point where it would pop off just where hair would get stuck. Second picture is today, got acrylics taken off and got a dip manicure. Color is "B5" and I love the end look. Definitely recommend this location if you can't go anywhere else during this time

I've always been happy with Lace. I came in for a gel manicure and was extremely disappointed. My technician was rushing, did nothing but paint. Not a full manicure. The rush job was literally 16 minutes and these are my nails after 3 days. Huge waste of money.

my sister loves lace nails, and convinced me to try it instead of my regular salon. this salon was clean, and had a very nice environment! my nail tech was super sweet and made conversation while i was getting my nails done. i have only positive things to say about my experience in the salon. however, i got gel (shellac) nails done last friday, and it is now money (10 days later) and almost every single nail is chipped or peeling. when i paid $40 for a gel set, i expected them to stay for at least 2 weeks, like it does when i go to my usual salon in west linn. for a boujee lake oswego nail salon that so many people rave about, i expected a little more quality. their selection of colors is very vast, so maybe it's just my specific polish. not sure. i would recommend this salon for the experience but i don't recommend the lavender gel if you're looking for a few weeks of solid nails.

I love going to Lace as it's my happy place. I've been going here for pedicures and regular dip manicures for years. They strive to meet customers' vision and do so with great attitudes and skill. Always clean and calm. (You really do need an appt, but they'll work to squeeze you in an available spot if you call ahead). read more

Today I had a pedi and mani at Lace Nails done by Angela. This was my first time at this business and I was very pleased at the result. The business was very clean, the personnel were friendly, and the quality of work that was done was excellent. I especially enjoyed my time spent with Angela...she was knowledgeable, had a sense of humor, and gave good suggestions to meet my desires for color. I will return to this salon again. read more

I am reluctant to write this review because it is negative. I've been going to this salon for a while now. The positive parts: friendly, accommodating and great service. The part that prevents me from returning: this place is filthy! Seriously! Every surface has a coat of dust and grime. It wasn't totally obvious to me at first but after using the restroom I began to look around and literally dust covers everything from the nail stations to the fake plants. It is disappointing because the vibe is friendly and welcoming but this place needs a thorough cleaning. For real! read more

We used to love coming to Lace but now the nails fall off within days and when we request a fix after paying $100+ there is always pushback and blame placed on my teenage girls. Our last experience, the nails stayed on for two days and we were literally SCARED to call and ask them to fix them. We have to go in bi- weekly because the quality has gotten so poor and have spent thousands of dollars at this salon but will not be going back. They ABSOLUTELY take advantage of young girls and teenagers. Today was the final straw. Super unfortunate. read more

Im really glad I went to this salon! I asked a dutch worker where she got her nails done and she said at lace nails lake oswego and I took the risk. I had many bad experiences with nail places always knicking me or getting rude when I would ask for more colors than one or even art. This place did not do that angela did an amazing job and even helped me pick out the colors I wanted as well as gave me amazing nail art! read more

I got gel nails done on Sunday. It is now Wednesday and I now have one nail that has polish chipping! Other than that, the salon was clean and my nail tech was really nice. I would suggest another coating of polish at the tips to prevent chipping. They have a solid selection of gel nail colors to choose from (better than average cat eye collection!), as well as dip powder. read more

Loving this nail salon! I've been their twice now. First time, I requested a mani thru yelp and they responded quickly and was able to get in for a shellac mani. Second time, I called in and was also able to get in for a shellac mani and pedi plus wax services. They were very nice. The place is cute. Reasonable pricing. Great arm/leg massage at the end of service. I plan to continue going back and have it be my regular place to go! read more

I came in with terrible looking nails from a different salon, and came out with perfect nails Fills are way cheaper than I'm used to, and much better quality. They can still keep your nails looking sharp even using gel polish. You can schedule appointments online! read more

Nice, clean salon with friendly staff. We were a walk in and they took us when two other places said they were "too busy." They were busy too but found a way to accommodate my daughter and still not make her feel rushed. It was her first manicure experience and I'm happy that it was a good one. read more

Been going to this salon for my acrylics the last few months. Started with a full set and got two fills since then and have been happy each time. Mysa did my fill today and it looks great. The prices are reasonable, especially for Lake Oswego. They have also worked seamlessly to keep up with covid related OSHA regulations and have updated technology to make scheduling, checking in and paying so much easier. Love Lace! read more

The staff here is always very nice to us when we pop in without an appointment. Yesterday, I had a shellac mani and basic pedi and my boyfriend had the deluxe pedi. Idk who did my acrylics but she was really nice, I had a peculiarly broken nail and when she fixed it she apologized if it hurt because my nails were really thin. And it did hurt but it was ok because she was really kind about it. Since I was wearing a really thick mask I got overheated and was VERY lightheaded, when I asked her for water she was right on it. They had a wide variety of colors to choose from and every was kind and sanitary. I would 100 percent go there again and would totally recommend! read more

I have been super sick this week, so my friend gifted me a pampering session. Just got my nails done here, and I am so pleased!! It was my first time getting acrylics, and they look great! I have a habit of picking my cuticles, so getting longer, sturdier nails was a must-try. Also got the deluxe pedicure. Lovely! If I was being nit-picky, a couple of the acrylics seem a little uneven, but it is hardly noticeable. They recommended dipped nails, and I am glad I went with them! Beautiful fall colors! The nail salon itself was gorgeous. Beautiful, clean, and very well kept. They offer drinks (I had hot tea), but they have coffee, wine, and water as well. The tools were clean, the staff was very friendly, and they were extremely accommodating. I spent a long time looking up nail salons in the area, and I will definitely be back! :) Left a hefty tip too. You all were fantastic!! read more

So. Awesome. 1. You can book online! It's super fast and convenient. 2. Plenty of parking. 3. Gorgeous, clean salon. 4. ALL THE POLISH COLORS! 5. Lee is a nail genius!! I've been to 3 different salons in Portland, Beaverton & Hillsboro and each time I left bummed and ended up reshaping/repainting. Not here! As soon as I got in my car after my fill, I texted a picture to my mom, sisters, boyfriend and posted on my social media. This place is my favorite! And I am the queen of picky. I will be back, again and again. Thank you Lace! read more

When we got to the end of the subpar pedicure, I asked him to please buff my nails. I was told they were out of the nail buffer blocks. They also have a sign on their credit card reader that states that there is an extra $1 charge for every service purchased. I am certain the credit card companies are not charging them per service, but rather per transaction. They seem to be looking for any way possible to gouge their customers. We will never be back there again. I have never posted a Yelp review before, but really didn't appreciate being ripped off at this business.

The only nail salon I can rely on. I'm bummed I don't live or work in LO anymore because all the other nail salons I've been to just don't compare!!! The workers are very nice and each person takes their time and pays attention to detail. They massage you for a long time and really clean your nails! My boyfriend and I made a last minute appointments here to get our mani - pedi done and they were so friendly and accommodating! They took their time to chat with during the service. The place is clean and beautiful. I got a pedicure here and it's so far greatest pedicure ever. They use disposable plastic bags for the pedicure bowl which is super clean and I never seen anywhere else. The folks are talkative and friendly. They listen and know what I wanted. Awesome! We've never gone anywhere else since then. And you can tell a place is good when, at 5:30pm on a Sunday evening, they are absolutely packed. They had only one table/chair available, which they gave me. Needless to say, I gave them a 25% tip.
