I also asked for one nail to be cut down because it was so thin and in a rush the tech cut them all very short. Ugh. First impression, friendly technicians, beautiful space, calming music, a lot of polish colors, and new massage chairs that inflate around thighs! (No trashy TV or pop music on repeat, thank heavens.) I was able to get right in. Everyone was friendly, and while I was there a few regulars came in, which is always a good sign. They were greeted by their first names! I chose the basic spa pedicure, which included a soak, polish removal, nail trim, cuticle cleanup, quick foot scrub, polish, and massage while my nails dried. All for a good price, $33! I'd give them 5 stars, if I could have callus removal. She said they no longer can do it. I haven't heard of that yet, and callus removal is a main reason I get pedicures at all. Bummer, but I'll still come again. Kids under 12 can get a pedicure for $25 and manicure for $18. I have given them a shot too many times. Pedicures are always barely a scrub and polish sloppy. I decided to get my nails painted with gel for the first time and it chipped 4 days after. Also note how bad my cuticles look already. Total waste of money and they won't refund for the manicure. They said I could come in and get it fixed but don't want to waste my time on a sloppy fix on a nail. Every step of the mani/pedi was bare minimal effort with only "cursory" cuticle work. Polish was just as bad with lots of cleaning around the cuticle wiping away excess polish. The gal that gave my daughter a manicure was rude, short tempered and appeared inconvenienced. My daughter showed a photo of what she wanted and then ignored her request. The polish was old and didn't go on well. She continually scolded my adult daughter about not listening to her instructions while using the light for the gel polish. My manicurist was friendly, helpful and carried on a great conversation. We are bummed because we have attended doctors appointments all week and were looking forward to manicures together. A girlfriend came with me and i had a gift card. The moment they heard that, we were treated differently. My friend decided to do a shellac pedi because it lasts longer. Towards the end of her pedicure, they asked her to sit in a regular chair, no shellac polish on yet. The employee proceeds to paint my friends toe nails over her KNEE. Their excuse was they only have ONE portable dryer. Nail salon with 8 pedicure chairs and my friend had to finish her experience extremely uncomfortable. This is the worst salon in town. I stopped in because my favorite salon was closed. There was one customer in there. The lady told me she could do my nails then proceeded to give me a bowl of acetone and told me to pick off my current polish? After sticking my hands in acetone I told her it was burning my hands she proceeded to tell me that if I didn't like it I could leave. I have been here several times and the Owner I believe did my manicures. A good job. Today I was a few minutes late, the girl who worked on me didn't even say hello. She never smiled once. She had another client after me, but seemed really pissed another girl took her over bc She was working on me. I can appreciate a schedule - they have good prices and are convenient - but I will never go back :(. I don't need that kind of experience when getting a manicure is a luxury for me and I am wanting a nice experience! There is too much competition in the nail world to accept this treatment. I am happy to take my experience somewhere else where I am made to feel welcome. I strongly recommend NEVER attending this nail salon. The customer service, polish selection and quality of work is some of the worst I've ever experienced. I came to this nail salon purely out of convenience and the fact that the reviews were good. I'm here in Oregon for medical appointments and I though a manicure would be just the way to relax. The lady who greeted my mother and I was kind but as soon as we sat down for our gel manicure the polish selection was VERY minimal and basically a ton of the same colors from different brands. When I picked out my color I showed her a picture from my Pinterest page like I always do before a manicure and told her how I wanted it to look. She completely ignored my request and grabbed the wrong colors. I then asked for the correct colors and she rolled her eyes sighed and went back for the correct colors. Then she asked what length I wanted my nails and I said don't cut them just shape them rounded. She then filed my nails to nubs. When she began applying the polish it was clear the polish was old and separating. GROSS. After a couple coats it was obvious that the color was not going to turn out. I gave up and she put the top coat on. I was confused because she hadn't done my design yet. She then finished the top coat and walked away. Didn't even finish the manicure. Then she comes back about 7 minutes later and asks if I wanted lotion. Well duh If I'm paying for a manicure I want the whole thing!?!?! Then I looked at my nails and asked again for the design. She looked confused and then got short with me. She rudely sat back in the chair and started ranting about how I never asked for the design and that she already did the top coat. I was fed up but I wasn't going to argue with a manicurist who I was paying to do a good job. I looked at her and told her that when I showed her the picture of what I wanted is when I showed her the design and she argued with me and said that I never said anything about a design. I then looked at my mom confused and when the manicurist walked away to get the supplies my mom said she remembered me telling her the design I wanted. When she came back she slammed the supplies on the table and startled me. When she did the design it looked like absolute GARBAGE. It literally looks like a straight faced smiley face. Worst pedicure I've ever had. I decided to try this place with a friend on a whim. I was worked on by two people. The first girl tried to tell me how great my feet are and that she doesn't need to buff or cut my cuticles. I think this was just because she didn't want to do it. I've never in my life been told that while getting a pedicure. She basically just removed my polish and trimmed my nails then the other girl took over. She immediately started painting my toes before giving me the massage which I thought was also strange. I think the whole pedicure took 15 minutes. The polish was chipping by the next day. Highly unsatisfied. My FILL cost $50 which was already crazy expensive... Then they didn't even make it a week. I went in for a repair on the crap nail, and it looks worse than if I'd left it half broken and hanging off. I have 9 pointy nails and 1 blob shaped. Then as I'm attempting to escape...I am asked for $5 to cover the repair. "Repair" is worth $5, but I got a worse nail on a set that didn't hold up. So no fix, just more money. read more

I love Artistic Nails! My pedicure lasted 4 months in great condition. I loved the atmosphere- very small town. They knew the name of all their customers, what they liked, and asked about their families. I look forward to becoming a local here!
