I searched best burgers in Sun Prairie, and Mooyah, showed up with a lot of good reviews. I was surprised when we walked in the door, that it appeared to be a chain restaurant. You order at the counter and they serve you at the table. We are not chain restaurant people, only on a rare occasion, but we were hungry, and sometimes searching for another option, can take longer than I would like, especially when in the car. I ordered the Mooyah cheeseburger, and my spouse ordered a bacon cheeseburger. We also ordered shareable fries. The menu pictures don't look like a smash burger, but that is exactly what we were given, overcooked, all the way through. I am not sure why people claim the Mooyah sauce is great, as there was barely any sauce on it, and you could barely taste it. The lettuce was wilted, and was scant. Where's the tomato? It was very thinly sliced. The shareable fries were like a party for four, we should have ordered the personal fries, as we brought over half of them home. They were extremely loaded with salt, so much that we were thirsty for the rest of the evening. We won't be back there again.

We had already eaten dinner many hours earlier so this was just a late night snack or what we call "second dinner". The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, just a few other late night diners; that didn't last long, about 10 minutes after arriving, the place filled up with a bunch of students.
