When I first met him, I was extremely particular and nervous about my hair because I had already gone through so many bad haircut experiences in the Bay. Jimmy never made me feel difficult or rushed. He took the time to explain exactly what he would do, walk me through the shape and length, and answer every question I had. I'm the kind of person who cared about details down to the millimeter. Jimmy always had the patience to work through everything with me despite all the many questions I had each visit. Over the years, Jimmy became much more than just my hairstylist. Every time I sat in his chair, he listened to all my life stories, heard me out, and made me feel genuinely cared for. He took care of my hair, my concerns, and often accommodated me whenever he could. Getting a haircut became something I actually looked forward to every month or so because I always looked forward to seeing him. He has supported me through many different chapters of life and hairstyles. When I decided to grow my hair into a man bun, he shaped and prepared it perfectly for that process, so I haven't been seeing Jimmy for a while. I wanted to leave this review because I'm incredibly grateful for all the years of patience, support, and exceptional work he has given me. What stands out most about Jimmy is that he treats hairstyling as a true profession. He is always learning new techniques, improving his craft, and staying current, while still delivering thoughtful, responsive, and personal service. He understands how to create a cut that complements your face, fits who you are, and gives you confidence for whatever chapter of life you are entering. That is who Jimmy is.
