    Pistachio Mille Crepe
    Wendy T.

I came on a Saturday morning to dine in. The restaurant was fancy and beautiful, and the environment was serene. My friend and I were the only customers dining in. A handful of customers came in to get to-go. I had ordered a Pisachio Mille Crepe and a cup of Americano. However, the crepe did not meet my expectations. I was really excited to try the crepe as I've heard many positive comments about LadyM crepes, but in my opinion, it only tasted ok because it just tasted like mainly cream. The pastry part was there but did not add anything to it in flavor or texture as the cream is overpowering. I kept on thinking I would've enjoyed a piece of cheesecake more. My Americano was a bit pricey but also ok, nothing much to comment about it. I also thought there would be more crepe selections when I was looking online, but it turns out the offerings were not the same. My friend was also not as pleased with her peach crepe and drink as well. I am not sure about visiting again anytime soon, but if I am in the area again, maybe I'll give it another try.

Delicate, airy cakes! Perfect for a special treat! Lady M's mille crêpe cakes are as light and elegant as they look. The guava and Dubai chocolate were my favorites this time. I was hoping to try the passionfruit, but they were only selling full cakes, which was a bit of a letdown. Portions are small and slices run $11-$15, so definitely more of a splurge. That said, it's a lovely spot for a special occasion or a little indulgence. TL;DR: Beautiful, light cakes with a high price tag. Worth it for a treat!

There was no one more stoked than I was hearing about Lady M coming to the Galleria. Afterall there is still a small part of me that gets excited when NYC based businesses find their way into Houston waters even if my expectations are tremendously low. (#1) Thankfully the experience is similar enough: the customer service is excellent, the taste of the cakes are exquisite, and the cost is outrageous. Given the grandeur theme of the Lady M brand, it is quite fitting for it to be in a place like the Galleria. The counter is a display case of their cakes for the day, which I'm told are baked offsite at the other location in Westchase. The lighting and layout of the cakes make them photo worthy even if one isn't eating them. The staff is pleasant enough to assist with the breakdown and may even direct folks to sit out in their roped off, small, and super not-group-friendly seating area atop of the rest of the mall. The cake slices are anywhere from $10-15 a slice. They're pretty, light, and unique from the taste down to the packaging. The M in Lady M stands for the mille crepes, a style that blends French sophistication with Japanese flair. This is as extravagant and as bougie as it gets. Special occasion gift? Absolutely. But it's only going to be appreciated by folks who have had the mille crepes that have made this brand famous for the last quarter century. Dine-in treat? Occasionally. Just be aware of the price to avoid the sticker shock. __________ (#1) We all know how things turned out with Grimaldi's and DiFara's.

We got the mango crepe cake and the passion fruit crepe cake. Both were delicious but the passionfruit was my favorite. The mango cake was way too sweet. One slice is $10+ , in my opinion thats pretty expensive for how tiny the slice is. Employees are kind of stuck up which made the experience here crappy.

This is the best dessert I have eaten in my life..and I'm not a dessert person. I had my first crepe cake slice in Singapore and I haven't ever forgotten how immaculate the flavor was. I truly hope they open a third location in Rice Village one day. An easily accessible popular area would be ideal The crème is full of flavor yet delicate. The crepe layers are mesmerizing. The cake flavors are a wide variety. Looking forward to my next visit!

I was next door for a VIP opening event and they served Lady M Cake for dessert. So of course I had to go next door and check it out! This place feels like it came out of Europe. Chandeliers, the metal ceiling tiles. Just a beautiful boutique cafe. The cake was super uniqu. Made out of a LOT of thin layers with cream between them. Sweet but not too sweet, and one slice is, by far, plenty. I did however get two more slices to-go so I'm looking forward to trying those later. Great service behind the counter, friendly and knowledgeable about the different options. I saw a robot delivering coffee to a table. Someone even held the door open as I was walking out. Looking forward to trying the other two pieces tomorrow and we'll see if I remember to update my review!

Wow! This place is gorgeous! I love the decor and how bright everything is inside. You get seated right away if you are dining in and everything sounded delicious. We got the matcha lavender and chocolate Dubai slice. I really wanted to try the checkered cake, but they were out. The match lavender was lovely and not overly sweet or over powering. The chocolate Dubai had the right amount of sweetness and crunchiness. I loved how light everything was and the service was great too. It is definitely on the pricier side and hot water is not free. But if you're in the area and never had it, it's definitely worth a try!

I love the cakes from Lady M. I didn't realize there were 2 in Houston on same street but one is in the mall. I had ordered online and not being from area went to wrong location had to drive 20 minutes to other location. It was actually really easy access, just went in parking garage and entered through the first level of parking garage and took elevator down one floor and it was right there. Gentleman that had my order was really nice and took great care of me. I like that at this location you can get slices so I could try more flavors. I got 3 flavors, the chocolate, original and passionfruit cheesecake. All tasted amazing and I will definitely recommend to anyone who loves Lady m to stop by and try al the flavors!

The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. We came in Saturday night about an hour before close, they weren't busy but it was lively. We seated ourselves and our waitress came up immediately, gave us the menus and her recommendations. My friend ordered the Espresso Matcha Latte with oat milk and she really liked it. I ordered the Rose Tea Latte with oat milk and it was so good! Not too sweet. We shared a slice of the Strawberry Matcha Cake, and the flavors were really good. The texture wasn't my favorite, but that's personal preference. I'd definitely recommend stopping by and trying a slice of cake.

Finally got to visit the Lady M store and it was so beautiful on the inside. Super spacious with a clean, white, upscale aesthetic. We were promptly greeted, seated, and given menus. They do have cocktails and drinks on the menu that we did not get to try, but we did try some of their cakes. We got the pistachio mille crepe which is a classic and did not disappoint. We also got the seasonal corn tart which was super light, fluffy, and not too sweet. Lastly we got the checkered cake which was super moist and fluffy.

I am so happy there is a Lady M in Houston. The very first time, I had Lady M was in NY Financial District. Since then Lady M "Original" crepe cake has been my favorite. It is the best flavor out of all the flavors that I have tried. It's so light and the sweetness level is perfect. It is pricey but you pay what you get for. Highly recommend. Inside the store is very modern and upscale. Love Love Love

Went here for an afternoon "pick me up" the staff was quick and friendly, the cake was delicious. Pricing is $12 a slice and the drink was $4. They have an eating area right outside of their shop. I would say the price is worth it for the service and food quality.

This is somewhere I will go again with my friends. The atmosphere is perfect for a few friends to gather around and have a cup of tea/coffee of your choice. With a slice of cake to go along with it. The service was impressive because they were quiet about assisting but when needed would come over answer questions or help out.

When I stopped by on a weekday evening at 9pm it was packed. They had stations setup throughout the store to order different goods, which helped to alleviate the rush. Knafeh ($6) - They offered 2 types of knafeh, one with cheese and one with custard. I went with the one made with Nabulsi cheese and topped with shredded phyllo, and soaked in sugar syrup. It was warm, crispy and delicious! Karak tea ($5) - This milk tea drink was made with aromatic spices, primarily cardamom, cloves, ginger and cloves. I was happy to see they used whole milk instead of evaporated milk. The drink was incredibly rich and creamy and tasted great. Turkish delight ($18 / lb.) - This was extremely fresh, soft and chewy, made with cornstarch, sugar, nuts. Some of the varieties I tried had chocolate and/or fruits. The baklava here was fresh made with layers of phyllo dough, chopped nuts, and held together with some honey. The nut offerings here included, almonds, walnuts, peanuts and a few more. Overall I was impressed with everything they offered here with the exception of the nuts, which I thought were just ok. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.

For example, with the Turkish delights and ice cream selections, only a few items are labeled. For most of them, you have to guess the flavor or ingredients. When I asked questions, there was a language barrier, and the staff member behind the counter was unable to clearly explain what the items were in English. This can be especially frustrating for customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions. In the U.S., I would expect all flavors and ingredients to be clearly labeled so customers can make informed choices. Even if staff members are not fluent in English, having accurate labels for flavors and ingredients would greatly improve the customer experience. The desserts themselves are excellent, but better product labeling would make the experience much more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.

Side note you'll need a code to use their restroom. I ordered the split cup of Strawberry Almond Cheesecake and Dulce de Horchata. I felt that the portion could've been slightly more generous than below the rim of the cup, but I suppose the price is reasonable. I guess it's hit or miss like at Marble Slab. The cheesecake flavor was okay not overpowering, which I would've preferred more than the almond and strawberry. I think I wasn't impressed with it because the server scooped more of the graham crust than ice cream. I'm pretty sure that's another reason I didn't particularly care for their cheesecake. The horchata was nice with hints of cinnamon and with the split cup made it taste even better.

You're paying for the K-Pop Demon Hunter pop-up aesthetic, the upbeat vibes, the fast service, the themed menu. The desserts? Solid. The Pinky Up Parfait hits. One scoop of cappuccino ice cream comes generous and tasty. Nothing disappoints. But nothing revolutionizes dessert either. This is good execution in service of a limited time experience, not destination-level pastry work. And that's fine. That's exactly what a pop-up should be. The real draw is that everything works together. Vibe, music, service, and desserts that don't let the side down. It feels fun, not gimmicky. That's harder to pull off than you'd think. Bottom line. Pop-ups don't stick around. If the K-Pop theme is your thing and you want solid desserts in a fun environment, go now. If you're just looking for great desserts, permanent spots do it better.

Since we were already in the area after breakfast at TJ's Filipino Cuisine, we finally got the chance to stop by and try their baked goods for ourselves. We arrived early, so the bakery wasn't too busy yet. The bakers were busy prepping more goodies in the back while my cousin and I browsed all the Filipino baked goods we really miss from back home in the Philippines. They even had suman, sapin-sapin, biko, and other kakanin, which was nice to see. I specifically looked for the chicken empanada, and my cousin wanted to try the ube white chocolate chip cookie. We also saw different kinds of siopao and planned to come back later to buy some before heading back to San Antonio. We tried the ube white chocolate chip cookie first, but honestly we weren't totally satisfied. It tasted more like a regular white chocolate chip cookie with purple coloring and didn't really have much ube flavor. I also tried the chicken empanada. My cousin didn't like it because it was sweeter than expected--we were both expecting it to be savory. There seemed to be caramelized sugar in the outside of the pastry, which probably added to the sweetness. I still like it, though it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. Red Ribbon's chicken empanada is still my favorite. Later that day before leaving Houston, we came back for the siopao we planned to take home. We finally decided to just buy a couple pieces for ourselves, heat them up in the bakery, and try them fresh. When we saw the price for a four-pack, we were honestly disappointed. It felt expensive for the size. The siopao wasn't huge, and while I like the dough, there wasn't much chicken filling inside. For the portion, taste, and quality, it felt overpriced. Overall, it's probably not worth making another trip back for us. We did enjoy the cassava ube suman, and I like the chicken empanada, but not enough to drive all the way to Houston just for those. If I live nearby, I might come back to try other baked goods, but based on this visit, I'm not sure the rest would impress my palate. I still give them credit for cleanliness and customer service, although we did notice fruit flies on one of the shelves and reported it. The staff was friendly, and the bakery itself was welcoming. At the end of the day, since they're a bakery, the expectation is great-tasting, quality, mouthwatering Filipino breads, pastries ", and kakanin. While some items were enjoyable, overall it just didn't quite live up to the hype for us.
