I took my Toyota Camry here awhile back after it had been hit while parked. It required a front bender replacement. My experience could not have been more positive, from the initial inquiry over the phone to the delivery. Professional, courteous, down-to-earth, thorough, timely are all words that come to mind. There's even a sweet old dog and tons of cool signage and knick-knacks in the office. As an added bonus, they even appear to have straightened out my front license plate (important to me because it's a specialty plate and I'm a collector) and worked on a pre-existing scratch on the side of the car. I went to a couple other shops at first and each one couldn't work on it for a month, or had some other reason I didn't go with them. I don't think I could speak highly enough of this business. My Toyota Camry was hit in a parking lot and required a new front fender. After a couple of frustrating visits to other shops, I came to talk to Randy. I liked his down-to-earth style and the memorabilia and the friendly, old dog in the office. They were able to fit me in right away, which was a stark contrast to three other places I consulted. And they finished the job in three days (that included negotiation with the other insurance company). It looked fantastic and as a couple of bonuses they worked on a pre-existing rough spot on the side door and straightened out my front license plate a bit (which I really appreciate because it's a specialty plate and I'm a collector). My son's classic Red 1984 Mercedes Benz 380SL was side swiped by a 2004 Ford truck F150 while traveling on Highway 24. I made an appointment yesterday afternoon with Randy for 1:30 today to get estimatesto repair both of our cars. I arrived at 1:27 to learn that he had just "taken off for the day." I've been remiss in not writing this review sooner. Randy and the team have done excellent body and paint work on my 1957 Thunderbird, 1966 Mustang, 2016 Mercedes 500SL and my 2013 Subaru Outback. Wow, it looks as if I'm the worst driver around. Actually, the Thunderbird was given a complete paint job and the rest were the result of minor accidents. Use these guys. We had an incident with the sliding door on our Honda Odyssey. The door was badly damaged and looked like it was going to fall off. Things were bent out of shape and off the rails. Lafayette Auto Body worked with our insurance company and repaired the door beautifully. Great experience, finished even earlier than promised, repair looks like nothing ever happened. I was worried because the door motor was messed up and needed to be replaced. Would definitely recommend them. I hope I never need an auto body shop, but if I do I will use Lafayette Auto Body. read more

These guys are top notch. I was quoted $2500 for crash damage on my C5 Zo6. Other shops gave estimates of $4000+. They replaced 2 body pannels and painted them. The paint match is spot on. Everything lines up perfectly. When the job was completed a week early it was $300 cheaper than the original estimate. To top it off Randy and his guys are great people.
