Overall, average and acceptable given the declining options in public golf these days. Not terrible…read morebut not great. On course the fairway and green conditions are above average condition. The rough is very forgiving except where overgrown into prairie areas. Lots of Oscar Bravo on the course edges (fields and forests and roads) and a fair amount of water hazards. There are some houses on the front nine, most set far enough back to not be intrusive; however spray and pray hitters could easily find your shot in a back yard. Tee boxes are below average and many are undersized. The carts were loud and lethargic gas guzzlers with the gps units removed. Bring your app or gps unit, the only on course yardage markers are 200 and 150 stripes on the cart paths. Booking was easy with Club Caddie login. The clubhouse smells bad, somewhere between stale urinal and sewer gas. I would play here again but it won't be a go-to destination. The price seems fair at $47 weekend with cart. Cheaper than Purdue Ackerman-Allen or Coyote Crossing, but those are both better courses and better facilities.

I'm not a fan of putting windows and car roofs to unexcused insurance claims but for the professionals perhaps it is no matter. I tagged along with a large group Saturday morning to do all 18. We couldn't get over the very slow carts that didn't have any energy unless flooring the gas. Makes for a difficult and often jerky ride, this is not how superior courses should be. I noticed some enjoyed the food but as with most beverages are way too limited. Pricing is as expected for an average green. I am not even a casual golfer but am aware of many better options in the area. Ravines seems to be the budget and old fashioned option best for slower going.

Very reasonable golf price for what is essentially a par-3 nine hole course. The staff were very friendly. The greens and fairways are decent. Overall a great place for beginners of any age. The prices are also nostalgic, like circa 1985. We've spent some time now on the driving range with the two, large, circular nets, old mini van with car alarm, a painted, dart target and big white barn (not a target but directly behind all the targets). Having all those targets to aim for makes practice a lot more enjoyable. We haven't tried the par-3, nine hole golf course, and I'm not sure we will because we are lazy, and they don't offer golf carts. I can see why they don't offer golf carts because the golf course is really a grown-up version of mini putting with a fuller swing, but part of the fun of golf for us is a cart. They have golf clubs you can rent, but they are so banged up, I'm not sure you wouldn't do better buying some clubs at Goodwill or any thrift store. We haven't tried the mini putting either, but it's sweet with rudimentary made buildings and characters. We like this place a lot because it seems very family oriented, is very, very cheap and there's no pretense of any serious golfers/golfing. It's surprising the people you see here from Chinese groups that don't speak English well, rednecks who looks more comfortable with a gun than golf club, teenagers who look too goth to know such a place exist, three generations of Hoosiers having family fun, and then, there's us - big city yuppies who need to master their skills at a friendly, nonjudgmental place before playing at the next corporate outing.

When you walk in, it takes just a second for your eyes to adjust as the whole place is dark and lit by blacklights. As you enter the door, you are greeted with a few arcade game machines. The mini golf course is towards the back and was relatively reasonable for pricing. It was $26.00 for three adults to play a round. The course was decent with many right angle banking and some shots where you need to hit it into an obstacle. There is no elevation to the holes unless it is a ramp so the holes are almost all flat. The final hole is a large clown face where you hit the ball into his mouth. The arcade consisted of quite a few games to play: skee ball, crane games, deal or no deal, a big wheel to spin and a few other fan favorites as well. The games cost anywhere from $1.10 to $1.75 for a play so it isn't completely outrageous. There were 't too many options to choose from at the arcade redemption center so I would suggest expanding more items here for people to earn. This is a fun place to spend a couple hours with the kids or a fun date. They even have birthday packages available for children with a designated room.

I have played the course several time, but have no real frame of reference for its quality. I can say that I found it to be well manicured and reasonably challenging. The swimming pool offers a lap pool, that is usually open swim, and a diving well with two diving boards. I have enjoyed all of my experiences at this clean and friendly pool. I have been to several events, weddings and fundraisers, at this banquet center. I even had my rehearsal dinner here. The food has always been alright, and the facility is large and clean but a little out of date. The bar is where I have the most experience. If you are looking for a beer, non-craft, or a simple mixed drink, the bar here is totally serviceable. The staff is friendly enough, but not great. There are several games in the bar including shuffle board, slotts and golden tee (one of my favorites). The best part of the bar is an amazing outdoor patio. It is huge and covered and offers lots of seating. Turtle Run is three star through and through. I enjoy my time there, but only go for the people I know will be there.
