Best burger I've ever had on a road trip. Worth the stop if you're traveling on Route 66. Staff was friendly. Fries were fresh and good.

For a burger chain, this place is decent! It's inside the gas station and convenient if you need to grab a bite. You order at the counter (like any fast food place) and there is plenty of seating. The Laguna Burger was simple and tasty.

Frito pie, this one's the small.

This was a surprising find! We ended up having the Laguna burgers, and they are enormous. It turns out they have a kids burger that's smaller, and I should've probably had that. They were cooked well. All of the Fixin's on them were fresh and tasty. The fries were very tasty as well. My husband also got a Frito pie, which he enjoyed.

I'm being generous with three stars. The wait just for someone to take my order was painful. We ordered two Laguna burgers with bacon and a side of fries. After ordering it took at least a half hour before our number was called. The hamburger was dry and overcooked. The french fries were cold and soggy. Would I recommend this place? Sadly, no.

Probably the best burger in the local area! Excellent service too! The ambiance was bright and cheerful.

My family and I were craving a green chili burger. We decided to try Laguna Burger . Our family is Pueblo Laguna so while we were visiting my uncle we stopped by. People are complaining it's slow or takes awhile to get food . KEEP IN MIND ITS BECAUSE THEY HAND PRESS THEM . I liked that it took a little longer than usual because they were making my burger not throwing a frozen patty on the grill. Green chili smothered my burger and it was perfect . I love this place and will be my go to when I see my family .

Food: 3/5 Service 5/5…read moreAmbiance: 4.5/5 Price: 3.5/5 This was my first time stepping into the Route 66 Casino Hotel. Having arrived in the early hours of Albuquerque, I took a 6 hour nap on my rig before getting up and making my way into the building structure. I figured usually casinos either had a buffet of some sort or a steak house and that's how I wandered into the Thunder Road Steakhouse Cantina. I proceeded to order the Ribeye Steak - Grilled to a Medium, with a Baked Potato Side and for desert, Fried Ice Cream. Which I haven't had in ages since my days working at a hibachi in South Dallas. So unfortunately, the steak felt really old, not tender, and very dry, maybe I should have gone with a medium rare, but probably it'll be the same results. The Caesar Salad was cold, straight out of the fridge, I'd prefer if my salad thawed a little, but ok.. The loaded bake potato, was also very dry, lacking moisture, and despite having a lump of butter and sour cream, it felt very bland almost, lacking... probably shredded cheese..just wished the plate included something like corn or sauteed vegetables to dampen the over dryness. I think the highlight was the Fried Ice Cream; next time if I'm parked in the truck lot at the casino, ill come visit at night for the dinner menu. Was swiping through their Yelp pictures and see that Alot of people come here for the prime rib. Now...aside from the 3 stars out 5 for quality of food, this casino is actually not that bad; I think in terms of odds during a weekday, they don't set the probability on the slots too ridiculously low that you get Knocked Out in couple rounds. NGL, I actually think the management here has made the gaming pretty fair, (shocking right), and I actually look forward next time to allocate more time to just chill in the casino and game a bit more since this trip I'm in a hurry to offload a trailer back in San Bernardino County California. Ya, this was a pretty good experience- played some slots and roulette. Too bad there wasnt Baccarat. I think I'll book a night here when I drive through.

So I got into Albuquerque early, and wanted lunch even though it was a little before 11am (having come from the east cost). This place inside the 505 food hall was recommended to me by Mia, the local Albuquerque community manager. I got there about 10:55, they open at 11, and knew what I wanted to eat about two minutes prior to that. I approached the counter... and well... was told not to for two more minutes, pretty curtly. OK fine, i can respect that, and the fact your day must not be off to a good start. So I come back at 11:01 and place my order for the El Burqueno burger with fries. That's a double smash cheeseburger with fried onions, green chiles, and a garlic ailoi on a grilled buttered bun. I grab a seat nearby to wait, and can see a commotion forming around the kitchen. Apparently, their frier would not turn on, so basically fries were taken to another restaurant in the food hall, brought back, and served to me. Which made things take a little longer, but was more a point of craziness for the staff than me. Neither the fries, or the burger suffered at all. In fact, the burger was one of the most on-point smashburgers I have had in recent memory. A wonderful brown crust on both smashed patties, and skirted with lots of melty cheese. The bun definitely had a rich buttery flavor, and it all came together nicely. So, mild curtness and foibles aside, this was a great stop, and I would recommend it to others seeking a smashburger adorned with chiles.

He walked away as I approached the counter. I was confused as I wasn't aware I had to order on the tablet on the counter. When I began using the tablet I was in search of the new mushroom burger they sent me an email yesterday about. Of course you know it's what I wanted to try. Sadly it wasn't on the menu on the tablet. When I called the employee for help I basically got the vibe he didn't want to be there and he was hesitant to approach. When he did come to the counter I asked about the burger even showed him the email to get told it's not out yet and it was coming soon. I found myself wondering why I even got the email if this was true. Needless to say the food came out really fast. I thought well that's good at least. The presentation was better than the experience. The cheese on the queso fries was pretty skimpy. There were way more fries than cheese which was disappointing. The burger I wasn't a fan of either. It needed more cheese and the stackers sauce tasted strange like it a chipotle sauce it wasn't the same as I recalled. I'm sad to say this is the second location I've had a bad experience with. It's really disappointing because I really loved this place. I guess I'll have to stick to the central food hall because so far that's the only location that hasn't disappointed me like this yet.
