From Garlic Festival Foods we purchased a "Fresh California Garlic Braid Large." It was anything but fresh as, well over 1/3 the braid was spoiled & moldy and we've had to discard accordingly. We do extensive home cooking and have been inconvenienced one too many times moving from one bulb to the next searching for useable cloves much less pristine whole bulbs for roasting. Upon inspecting the braid one could easily observe dark, sometimes squishy (upon pressing), spots on the bulbs and yet the product was shipped anyway. Not interested in patronizing again.

The staff was very attentive and helped me find my spices and also updated my email so I could get their current promotions. I can't wait to use my "Free" Vanilla Extract. Very fun place for berry picking you pay about six dollars for a carton and then you're free to…read morepick berries or eat them from the bush. The main attraction are blueberries and mulberries and you could find blackberries raspberries tangerines avocados also. There's a small parking lot at the end of the driveway, but it was full so we parked down the hill and walked about five minutes. There was a line to pay and we got four cartons and we filled two with blueberries and two with mulberries. The mulberries are in the front on a slope and the low hanging fruit gets taken first, so I had to reach further up and pull branches down to get my share. My wife filled two cartons with blueberries. All the fruit was very good and delicious. There were lots of people there having a good time I think we'll be back soon later in the season.

We came for blueberry picking and it was very toddler friendly! The blueberries were delicious. There's also a play area with a treehouse. We also tried a mulberry from the friendly gentleman at the booth and man, I'm hooked! My little toddler loves those things and so do I - I keep putting this place in my head cause I need a refill of those delicious berries! Also got a bag of avocados for $5 and man, these things are BEAUTIFUL. Had to wait a few days for them to ripen, but they are some of the best avocados we've had. Also for those people who don't prefer to deal with cash - they take Venmo!
