I really enjoy finding good food trucks and I am glad this is in Oconomowoc daily. Gabriel and Rosa are the owners and are always very friendly. Everything is made to order, fairly fast and good proportions. I enjoy the Mexican style tacos (meat, onions and cilantro on a corn tortilla) over the American style, you can get both. The salsa verde is really good, pretty good kick and is very flavorful. Not sure what they add to that, but I've never had salsa verde like that. I get the steak tacos (Mexican style), my son usually opts for the ground beef. All fresh and made to order. They may be backed up with people and orders, so be patient if there are people ahead of you and it may take a bit of time to get your order but well worth it.

With over 50 households attending, there was not a misstep by Bangin' Burgers. The sweet potato fries were excellent, with large grains of salt on them. Maybe because they were not getting a lot of business, they were closing half an hour before they normally do. I appreciate that the bread is homemade, and that it's a pita/naan type bread. However with all the wetness of the chicken, it got real mushy real fast. Don't confuse Kona Ice with a "shaved" ice truck - because, well, it's not. If you do, you're likely to be a little disappointed since their ice is crushed, not shaved, resulting in a completely different texture and consistently. Don't worry though, Kona Ice is a fun and refreshing treat. They have a machine that crushes the ice in one second, and another that packs and shapes the ice. There's also a dispenser on the outside of the truck that allows to you choose and add your own flavors if you wish, but they do have their own creations available that they will make for you (like my favorite, dreamsicle, which includes a cream whipped into the top of the ice). Reading from the menu on the truck, all flavor options contain no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup and no peanut derivatives. The flavors have even been packed with Vitamin C. And, for those with special dietary needs, sugar free, dye free and Kosher certified products are even available upon request!
