This restaurant is extremely busy. We enjoy the lake views and the staff. My favorite is the swamp fries.

We went there for the first time. We got the same spiel as the other people wrote about today. Had to space out the orders which surprised me because the restaurant wasn't that crowded especially for a Saturday. Finally placed our order for crabcakes. Waitress came back about 5 mins later to say they had run out of crabcakes, we said you ran out, it's only 4:00. So we ordered scallops and shrimp Alfredo. Both were not good, scallops were rubbery and the Alfredo sauce was so watery and the pasta overdone it was hard to eat. First time there won't be back. read more

Waited over an hour and still didn't have our food. Asked to get it to go and still waited! Waitress never once refilled our drinks. The manager explained the fryer was busy so that's why it was taking over an hour to make a Monte Cristo, when my friend asked to cancel the order and just give her a refund the manager said he could not do that! read more

Beautiful day and wanted to sit on the deck and have a nice dinner and drink. Approached the desk/front and the woman said it was all reserved. We could sit at the table directly by the wall. Reluctantly we agreed. Sh was also bartending. I watched the deck as people left and no one came to go out there. There were tables open that we pointed out. All reserved! She took our drink order, very simple. A beer and a margarita. The margarita was horrible. Then ordered fish sandwich haddock allegedly. Again horrible! I have eaten haddock all My life and that was not haddock! Tilapia maybe with too Much Blackened Old Bay! The table beside us had the same thing and made the same Comments. Both tables margaritas came out with salt and both asked for no salt. Back to the deck, we sat for 45 mins and the deck cleared off. No one was ever sat out there. Since she was bartending she wanted to preserve her cash flow. It's after 630 And 15 mins later and the deck was empty. They were seating upstairs. No deck! She lied, she didn't listen to any orders and the food was terrible. Save your money go elsewhere! Horrible! read more

My Wife does not eat fish. Hooray, there's a chicken sandwich on the menu. Our server brought her a fish sandwich. I finished my fish and chips before her re-make was done. This is our 3rd time dining here. I was happy to see that if you park across the street, there is a path that takes you under the bridge to get to the restaurant. It is a lot of steps. If you don't have any mobility challenges, the path is safer than crossing the busy road. I love the jalapeño popper burger! It is so good! Others in our party got the salads. It was not busy, but there as over an hour long wait for food which we found out after the fact, then we got cold food, and then food poisoning. Check their health violations for proof because they will say otherwise despite repeated reviews reporting it. Then came the emails and harassing phone call to my parents to take down the review. I have the emails but this platform removed by review when I posted it. If anyone receives an offer of bribery from this woman, Yelp wants to know, so please report it. read more

The view was amazing. We sat upstairs and watched the sunset. The food was fantastic, but the acoustics are quite loud so you hear a lot of other tables little difficult to hear in there, but it's spacious and they can put tables together so you could have large parties big family, dinners, etc.. read more

Great experience! This restuarant as it's name indicate is by the lake with indoor and ourdoor seating and great views. The food is well seasoned, cooked on point and portions are decent. I tried fried alligator for the first time and it was really good. We also ordered blackend grouper that came with two sides. Our server was amazing and made this experience wonderful. I know this restaurant just opened, so I will be very nice and plan to give it many more shots. We have a boat and love the look of the place and the ease to tie up for lunch, dinner and/or drinks. We stopped in tonight to try it out and the place was fully staffed with friendly folks. We sat upstairs by the window and with the lighting you could still see outside around the dock area, which was nice. The decor is a pleasant nautical theme with the servers in shirts that say "Crew." Love the lighting around the bar area. The biggest downside is the noise. The place was less than half full upstairs and it was super noisy, due to the wood-like floors and ceilings. Not sure what can be done to suppress it, but I can't imagine the noise level if full and entertainment singing. I would probably opt for out in the screened porch area next time. I ordered an Old Fashioned, which was nice and the fried pickles were perfect. Crispy and hot. Now for the downside. My wife ordered the "Wedge" salad and I ordered the Pork Sandwich. It was at least 20 min later when the server came out to apologize that they were out of the pork sandwich. This was after letting us know at the beginning that several items were out. I think the manager needs to work on inventory and ordering. I asked for the burger to replace it. Burger was actually awesome and the fries were nice and crispy. Definitely an item I would order again. My wife's "wedge" salad was not a wedge, but a layer of spinach salad with the blue cheese and other fixins' on it. A "Wedge" by definition is a wedge of Iceberg lettuce, crispy. Not sure if this was another issue of inventory or not. She ate it but I could tell was not happy with it. So, atmosphere, location, and views A+, friendliness A+, servers A+ Drinks A+, Inventory and food C~ so, we will definitely be back in a few weeks to see if they have worked out the kinks. This was our late night treat to go out to eat at the end of the day. I heard this was a newer place that doesn't get enough foot traffic as it should. We took a scenery walk at night to go here. This place is nice and a bit fancy at a time. I had seafood with wine and it was delicious. Service was good and fast. The location is outstanding on the water. Seen some reviews about prices but they're competitive with other competitors. Locals I hear want more places, then it's built and they complain about the prices and say they're not coming. You can't have your cake and eat it. But the prices are very reasonable. I hope more people give it a shot and keep coming back. read more

I have been to this restaurant many times and overall my experiences have been good no matter if we're seated at a table or seat ourselves at the bar. Unfortunately on this visit it's a Friday night and understandably the bar is busy. My husband ordered a burger and the bartender repeated what he said (or so we thought) back to him and he said it once more. When the wrong food arrived the bartender's first response was "ohh that's why I repeated what you said" obviously she did not repeat what he said but also at this point that doesn't really seem like the appropriate response. She later apologized for the mistake which was appreciated but of course the kitchen was busy and when his burger finally arrived it was beyond overcooked. This was not her fault, but it just added to the already less than stellar experience. We will be returning to this restaurant as we usually come here and love it. But I do ask that when you have customers who are being patient and considerate that maybe the favor is returned. We will never be "those people" as we have both worked in the service industry and understand how things can get but a little extra patience and understanding never hurt anyone. read more

I've had many lovely dinners at the Grill but tonight was definitely an exception. The pasta Alfredo was so awful. It came out looking like an overflowing cheesy creamy soup. Very unappetizing looking. You couldn't even see the pasta. It tasted like a jar Alfredo sauce and lots of it. I have had this dish there before and it was always delicious. I asked for asparagus on top instead of a protein. They cut the asparagus into pea size pieces so I couldn't even taste them. They never should have let that bowl leave the kitchen!
