The vibe, the aesthetic, the food, everything is solid. It won't blow you away, but it's good. That being said, making an appetizer that has about a pint of three different dips and providing you with only 6 Dorito sized pita chips to dip in them, then charging you an extra $3 when you ask for some more pita chips (5 this time) is an interesting strategy. If you want to get their "acclaimed" appetizer, consider stopping at a store to buy your own $3 bag of about 30 pita chips, rather than spending a fortune on a single appetizer. It tasted great, it'd just be great if you weren't expected to start ripping up napkins and dipping them in to actually taste the dip once you get through your wartime ration of pita chips. Great food otherwise!

The food is good but the presentation could use some work. Alot of us ordered the seafood tower salad. You would think that the seafood would be in top instead of mixed in. The herb lemon aioili could be reworked as it had the thickness of mayo which made is a challenge to drizzle over a salad but the flavor was there. I added seared tuna. The food was good and everyone likes what they ordered. The chanel #6 was a pretty cocktail but it was sweet. The white sangria looked good. The service was amazing, the ladies that assist us were patient, kind and did not forget a thing we asked for. The location on the water was beautiful. I would go again.

Lakehouse was a pleasant treat! It's located right on Lake Norman and had great views of the lake in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu has a mix of American fare and seafood dishes. I ordered the branzino Mediterranean style with potato wedges. Their expresso Martini was delicious. My friend ordered the burrata with balsamic caviar and salad and she enjoyed her meal. We sat out on the patio and it was the perfect setting to enjoy the view. They have plenty of seating and you can even stroll the board walk to get a little closer to the water. Service is friendly. We went mid afternoon and we were seated promptly but I could see where this place could need reservations during peak times.

We tried this place under the prior management the first time was excellent the 2nd not so much! So we were excited to see what the new management changed or improved! I didn't notice any changes to the exterior or interior but the menu is a bit different! One noteworthy addition is the Truffle Mushroom Pizza - can someone say YUM . The buffalo wings were tasty too - nice meaty wings with a nice buffalo sauce not too oily and the right amount of zip! We had a Greek pastry akin to a donut hole for zert and it was delicious also. The pastry itself is not too sweet but it sits atop cinnamon honey and we ask for strawberry puree as well! Overall it's a great option for dinner on the lake! We returned a couple of days later and I had the lemon chicken the flavor was good but the noodle was too think I prefer the thin spaghetti noodle or angel hair pasta even! Hubby had a burger and it was a tad too well done for him but that's an even fix by ordering med rare as opposed to medium!

Dinner out with a friend in the greater Charlotte, NC area brought us to Lake House. This is a fun upscale, casual restaurant tucked in a neighborhood on a lake. Plentiful seating with a cool bar and water views. Service started out rough with a long wait before being greeted or drink orders. After I got up and requested a server the manager and pinch hitter server step in. From that point we were well attended. Food was excellent from the appetizers to the mains. I ordered the short ribs and mash which was perfectly cooked and the table got salads and stuffed pork chop, crab cakes and mac & cheese. Overall the food was so good and the service excellent that the slow start hardly dampened the experience. I would go back again for the food and the extensive menu to keep tasting!

We really enjoyed our lunch here. We sat out in the covered patio, and enjoyed the Seafood Tower salad, and the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The staff were all very friendly and our server, Jay, was great! The great food, paired with the beautiful lake view is unbeatable.

We've been loyal customers for a while because the food is excellent, but tonight's service was unacceptable. It was our first time being served by Lexi, and it will likely be our last visit. We had to constantly ask for basic things like water and our initial drinks. Despite being outside as the crowd thinned out around 8:30 PM, she never once checked on our table for refills. At one point, I asked for a second Coke, she said okay but immediately went to chat with a coworker at another table instead of getting the drink. She only remembered when she walked past us again and realized she had forgotten To make matters worse, she was completely silent when dropping off the check and taking my card - no "thank you," no "how was everything," nothing. She treated us like we were invisible. After seeing other guests mention being judged by their appearance or ethnicity, my experience of being treated like I was invisible makes sense. It's especially concerning since she was training a new server at the time Great food can't make up for feeling like a burden to the staff.

The food was amazing. Desserts were incredible. The chocolate layer cake was absolutely to die for. Not to mention, the ambience and the view of the water is fantastic

What a beautiful first-time experience! I visited this charming lakefront restaurant and was immediately drawn in by the peaceful ambiance -- watching boats glide by as we dined made it feel like a mini escape. So relaxing! I ordered the half chicken, which was perfectly seasoned and delicious. My friends enjoyed the zucchini chips, shrimp, oysters, short ribs, and creamed spinach -- and not a single complaint from the table. The food was a hit all around! The service was attentive and friendly, adding to the great vibe. Since I was just visiting, this spot truly made my North Carolina trip feel special. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town -- this place is a gem worth revisiting!

I was surprised to see this place had rebranded from port city bc I had no idea. It is SO much better than the old port city. I went with a group of girls and we absolutely loved everything we ate. The salads were huge and delicious. The bolognese dish was to die for and I seriously can't stop thinking about the seabass. The ambiance is gorgeous & upscale yet and relaxing with lake vibes. I am giving this place 4 stars only because our service was SOO slow. We could never seem to find a server. It took forever to get drinks and we actually had to hunt someone down to get our bill which was incorrect. I am hoping this was a one off and I will for sure be back!!

Great place. Food and service good. Nice ambience. Not a whole lot of water to see, but large place and the food was really good.

But, I was treated with kindness and respect from the moment I sat at the bar. I was made to feel like any of the regulars who trickled into the bar. I had a great conversation with the bar manager and bar staff -- as well as some of the best cocktails I've had in a while. In addition to having pours of hundreds of whiskeys, Bin 110 has an exceptional craft cocktail menu: I recommend the espresso martini which they can make as a classic, with bourbon, or their specialty salted caramel version. The salted caramel is great too. And the bananas foster old-fashioned was nice. I thought it'd be too sweet but it was perfect. You can enjoy live music, food, and more at Bin 110. It's a nice spot to grab drinks before an outing, a laid back date night, or to just shoot the sh*t after work, at great prices, too. I'll be back!

The space itself is inviting with really comfortable chairs around a pretty bar area. We haven't been there on the nights they have music but understand Friday night is more classic rock and louder vs Thurs/Sat. We each had two gin cocktails. The Clover Club and Bee's Knee's. Both were tasty to sip and pretty to look at. Appreciate very much the bartenders recommendation on the Club as she described it perfectly. The overall cocktail/spirits menu is fairly extensive and there were quite a few that sounded very good. We got a couple apps, the Nashville Hot Chicken flatbread and Grilled Cheese that came with tomato bisque as a dip. Both were decent but we agreed we'd come here more for the cocktails, wine, ambiance and service than for the food The owner came by and introduced himself after he saw I had posted a Yelp pic :) of the Clover Club. Really nice fellow and I would chalk him (Andy) up as one more reason to come. All in all, we're glad we visited and we look forward to having Bin 110 on our rotation.
