Very disappointed in the service. It was fall fest and very busy. We were patient. Sat ourselves, got our own drinks. Waited forever for someone to take our order. We did tell them we wanted food. Finally got up to give someone our order. Then waited again forever. Mind you at this point it's no longer busy. Find out they burned our food, apologized. Finally our food comes out. Then again... no one. We had to pay our bill at the bar. They were too busy waiting on a big party in the corner and ignored pretty much everyone else outside. I was very disappointed. Won't be going back anytime soon. No other options in that area other than Stella which wasn't open yet. read more

I walked in and was warmly greeted by someone at the bar telling me where to sit. I chose to sit at the bar. I waited a moment before being helped but once I got my drink in the service was great. Really fun staff who made you feel welcome. I ordered a lot of food and it all hit the spot. The bacon jam on the burger was a nice compliment to the beer cheese. It has a fun rock and roll theme to it and seems like a good hangout spot when the time is right. I splurged and got a dessert and the Crème brûlée was the perfect topper to a great meal. We showed up here on a Saturday night, it looked fun and a nice place to eat and drink. Unfortunately after sitting down come to find out there was hardly any food. Only pizza and wings. The pizza is $22 and wings are $24 a dozen. I find that to be very expensive. They were having live music this night and you would think management would plan ahead to have enough food to fulfill their menu. One of our favorite places in all of Chautauqua County! The play on "group therapy" is an apt name for a place where groups can enjoy a bounty of comfort food together. Now when you read "comfort food," you may be expecting a bunch of unhealthy junk food... And don't get me wrong, they have that... But Group Ther-Happy features plenty of healthy options on their menu too. Some of our favorites on their menu are their pizzas. If we want pizza, but we want to don't want to be TOO unhealthy about it, we order from Group Ther-Happy. Specifically, we often order their cauliflower crust! Now don't you stick your nose up at that... Their cauliflower crust is delicious and you honestly wouldn't even know it's cauliflower if it didn't say so on the menu. The Buffalo Chicken Wing pizza is one of the best (if not THE best) in the entire county--no matter what kind of crust you get it on. Our other favorites come from their appetizer (or "Shareables") menu: Nachos and Pickles w/ a Punch! We've been meaning to try their burgers because they sound great, but we haven't been able to pull ourselves away from our favorites yet. Well after seeing Calzones on the online menu here and on the website the qife and I figured we would go have a bowl of French Onion soup and a Calzone. After setting down we were informed they no longer served Calzones. So we ordered a bowl of the French onion soup and a an order of boneless wings. Well the soup was good and hot an d they brought the wings out to get cold while we had the soup. Very nice waitress even though she has no clue what's going on. Wednesday was wing night which I highly recommend if you like wings and have nothing else to do that night. Service was BEYOND SLOW! From getting there, seating ourselves ,waiting 20 minutes to get even acknowledged, waiting 5 minutes to get my water, waiting 30 minutes to get our food and drink, waiting THE ENTIRE meal for a drink refill, asking for a box and check then watching our waitress take multiple other orders and forget about us, and then finally remember us and bring our check and box we were there an hour and a half all together. I was very conscious of our time because we prebooked movie tickets and made mention to the waitress we had a movie to get to so we wanted to order our meal right away. They weren't even busy. They were short staffed with waitresses even though it wasn't slammed. I think our waitress was new. Dogs are allowed into the bar. The patio smelled like dog pee and the place has big open doors wafting it in :( The pee smell was so bad a woman got up from a table to get a pitcher of water to dump on it. On that note you have no clue who staff and customers are. I saw at least 4 people hanging out there go behind the bar. Very confusing! Service was beyond horrible. Had reservations and were seated outside. We had to go to the bar to order drinks because no one came to the table. Then we had to go back for ice as our drink was served in a can without a glass or ice. We left ( as did other tables) because no one ever came to take our order. The table next to us said they had been there for 2 hours and never received their food. Probably the worst dining experience in the past decade. It was a stretch to give this one star! read more

I met a friend for lunch today and we chose Group Ther-Happy based on all the great Yelp reviews and the menu. We ordered two pizzas - 10" Happy Fun-Guy (mushrooms, carmelized onions, balsamic reductions, fresh greens) and 10" Stuffed Pepper (sweet sausage, banana pepper) - and a tower of sriracha onion rings with a side of ginger miso dipping sauce. The rings were absolutely delicious - crispy and spicy - and paired delightfully with the sauce. Both pizzas were great but we both agreed the Happy Fun-Guy was a complete knock-out. I do not usually post bad reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to. We ordered the grilled cheese wedge, small cheese pizza, and a burger. These small and not very tasty plates were $34. The food is served on paper plates. The grilled cheese came with chips. By chips I mean the server brought over a variety box of chips and asked what we wanted. The cheetos were the beat part of the meal. The $15 burger was worth about $6. They are on a limited menu which I understand due to circumstances, but this was sad. I was served my food on a paper plate with plastic silverware. The food was severely overpriced for the quality and size that was served. Their menu had little to no variety. The staff seemed unmotivated and lazy. You could see boxes everywhere along with random things in a corner with inside seating. I would not recommend this place for the food. This place is absolutely one of the coolest places to come with some friends, cornhole and giant Connect 4 outside, plenty of outside seating, really cool atmosphere on the inside. I will say, the service is not great, this place is pretty severely understaffed so prepare to wait for a WHILE. Luckily they provide things for you to do, but this is the only reason this place doesn't grab 5 stars from me. Food took more than an hour to arrive, however we did arrive at a busy time. If the owners or managers read these reviews, HIRE MORE STAFF!! They work super hard, y'all just need more servers!!! The food is excellent, the presentation of the food is also excellent. Everyone at my table very much enjoyed their experience. I can tell that the wait had to be due to the fact that they were understaffed as the food was at the perfect temperature, not at all cold. Frankly, they get two stars because of Covid. I get that take out calls are increasing, but the service was horrible. A simple salad and sandwich took forever on an evening with less than 50 people. It's lettuce, not a seven course meal at a Michelin Restaurant. The cook staff must not be too bright because the grill was filthy, burned bits on a grilled sandwich is not a gourmet touch. I've been there about 3 times but haven't been in quite a while. The food has always been pretty good but I have always felt out of place there. The other night we went to give it another try and we walked in not knowing whether we sat ourselves or we would be seated by a server. We stood near the door for at least 5 minutes without a hello of any sort. One waitress made eye contact with me and I smiled. No one said, "hey, go ahead and seat yourselves" or "I'll be with you in a moment". They didn't acknowledge our existence. I went to the bar to ask if we should seat ourselves and he didn't acknowledge me either. We left.
