Beautiful park with lots of trees and huge pools. Didn't have trouble with unlevel spot. Our levelers weren't working but easily got it leveled with 1 block. Biggest downsides were there were no working bathrooms at pool and women's bathroom next to game room was always used and door had no lock. Men's bathroom sucked as the toilet was either stuffed up or no paper. Was able to shower at bathroom under office. We didn't use pool knowing there was no working bathroom and all those kids in pool. People in park were friendly and office staff were wonderful. Mostly annuals so weekends are packed with people and too many golf carts. read more

Don't stay here it's awful! Not one thing in their pictures actually exists. Cabins are run down and filthy, lake is run over with sewage and unswimable, spaces are uneven and unmaintained, bathroom and showers are dirty and run down and full of bugs. It looks like a run down trailer park. The staff could care less if you're happy or not but, they'll come in here and respond to reviews saying they care about everyone's stay BS!! They are rude and act like you are bothering them when you have questions. Firewood is not available, we were told there is trees down over there go cut some wood, seriously! Just totally unacceptable conditions. Staff says it's corporates fault but they don't try to clean up anything or make things nicer for their campers at all. All the activities they advertise are crap and can't be used. The restaurant is closed and looks to have been for a while. Waste of money and a vacation. Very disappointing. read more

Run down. The entrance is nice but once you get into the camping sites you find almost all is permanent sites that are not well kept! Office was never occupied. Not once did we see any staff come by the site we finally was able to fit in. We had people just park wherever they felt. 5moh speed limit was never done by vehicles. The language used by some of the kids in the sites was horrible potty mouths. No picnic table and some of the annuals had several on their sites! Why is this even 1,000 trails add on??? read more

My husband and I stayed over Memorial Day weekend at Lake Myers. This RV resort could be so nice, however, due to no code or lack of adherence to a code, many of the permanent sites are trashy. We also noticed the company does not clean up areas and there were areas with campers very near by that had mound of large trash items stacked up. Old grills, mattresses, all sorts of old stuff that you could tell had been there for a long time. There were some lake/pond areas which looked like sewage lakes. Not attractive. The workers there were VERY nice, but were trying to do it all with only 3 people. Also, power needs to be upgraded. Our section lost power during the day on Saturday. A permanent renter said "Welcome to Lake Myers" since this is probably a common occurrence. During the night of Sunday - Monday, another part of the campground was without power. Keep in mind temperatures were in the 90's during this weekend in Mocksville, NC. read more

Won't stay here again. I grew up coming to lake Myers to take swim lessons. We booked an RV site here for the 4th of July weekend. Upon check in someone was in our site E8 and after circling twice we finally figured this out. Something about or sites had been switched. So we proceeded to E21. We finally got backed in and hooked up only to find out the power had gone out. Their breakers can't handle the amps. Breaker flipped off all night so we had no a/c. The breaker box was burning up hot too. The camp sites are filthy. No grass, trashy fire rings that are too close to the campers, and muddy. And there are tons of permanent residents. It's a trailer park. Won't be back. read more

worse camping trip ever! Girls 3rd yr camping trip. "Friday night, we could smell something.. wasn't sure If it was sewage or not.. Sat night, the smell was worse.. called maintenance # that they give you on a sheet of paper, no one calls.. Called Sunday night.. left a long message. Flagged workers down Monday morning and asked them to check the smell out.. smelled like death.. or dead animal and one of the workers said to me, "I bet its the dead cow!". to make my story short and to the point.. went to office and they told me they had just figured out what the problem was.. which was a lie, because they knew and did nothing about it.. within minutes after my complaint, the back hoe was digging a hole to tip the cow in.. who knows how long the cow had be lying in the hot sun! I figure since Wed before.. that's when the cows got out of the neighbors fence. no one offers to give me some money back for my issues, management was to call me back.. never heard from her.. called her and she made out like I was making the whole story up about the smell. (golf carts driving by our section holding their nose and gagging.) My friend and I decided to just let it go and hang by the pool that day to stay away from the smell. Grill at pool was open but no one would come to window to take our order.. walked to the pool and the HEALTH DEPT CLOSED THE POOL FOR NO EVIDENCE OF CHLORINE IN POOL.. SO WE SMAM IN PISS WATER ALL WEEKEND! SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES AT THE CAMPGROUND AND WE WILL NOT BE BACK.! I wasn't going post anything but I have tried for over a week now to get a call back and a reply back from someone and no one seems to care about their customers and their safety.. so.. I am just letting others know, check resources before you book your stay!!! read more

This place is a dump. The roads are in horrible condition and the camp ground is mostly permanent campers. The sites are too close together and getting a camper through the campground is a joke. Please don't waste your time or money going to this campground. read more

This was our first time staying here. First it is extremely difficult to reach anyone at the office as you are routed to a 1-800 number. Second, the spot the office tried to give us was absolutely ridiculous. The smallest site literally on top of a permanent site, we would have been sitting in their yard! After calling the office and complaining, we were moved to a better location (only because a really nice couple who has a home here helped us find a spot), which there was no fire ring. There is no WiFi unless you pay a 3rd party which we did, $8/day, only to find out it still didn't work. The pool is nice and we were told there was a bathhouse next to the pool. This "bathhouse" has one toilet that was clogged and no showers. The other bathhouse was far away and had live and dead bugs everywhere. 1 of the 2 water slides was not working and the water comes from a green, stagnant pond that had dead fish floating in it. We went to eat at the restaurant on site, ordered a chicken sandwich, bit into it and it was completely raw. I hope we don't get sick! The lady apologized and gave us a refund. I would not stay here again unless you don't need a bathroom, WiFi and only order coffee and biscuits from the restaurant. The manager in the office is extremely rude. The dumpsters are so far you have to take your trash in your vehicle to drop it off and then see the dumpsters are overflowing with trash. This place is congested with too many RV's, making it impossible to back up or turn around. The only reason it even gets 1star is because of the people that we met who were visiting here were nice and helpful. read more

I am an annual site holder at Lake Myers RV Resort HA resort thats a joke on any level. I had an incident come up and my dogs got out of my enclosure and went to play with kids and other fun things Im sure. I was at the game room when this happened wasnt out 5 mins my husband left his key there. I immediately came back to my camper only to find my dogs on my campsite with Ana telling people my dogs are aggressive and were sneaking up behind these 2 people which are friends of mine to bite them.She only done this because she thinks they are Pit Bulls but she couldnt be more wrong as I have DNA results on both dogs they are mixed breed dogs. These 2 people told her again they were not aggressive both were at the campsite when I came back also. These 2 indiviuals had control of my dogs until I got I came up with no problems. She has called law enforcement and and came up with an outlandish story which he was gonna back up then he realized by the time he got home it was lies from Ana. He actually saw me the next day in WalMart and came up to us and apologize for the actions of the people the day before. My camping neighbor came over to tell my the whole story and it didnt match Ana either as she talked to the people where my dogs went to play with their kids and doggie. I give it to Ana she is sticking to this horrible lie in which I could have lost my dogs even worse they would be put to sleep. She admitted to hitting my puppy over his head with her walkie talkie. She hit my puppy so hard he had a concussion and symptoms of a brain bleed. With this being said I emailed all of the details to corporate had to threaten social media review before even getting a call back upon which I returned the call with no call back so here I am fullfilling my promise to them. The call was from Angela who is in Holly Ridge NC I know this from caller ID. Nevertheless if you have a dog that looks like a pit keep it away from Ana Miller she is scared of dogs its apparent. read more

First, the Bathhouses where discussing, standing stagnate water on the floor that was there the entire time, feces on floor, toilets, and walls. Each of the bath houses has 4 toilets per sex, in the women's there was two working toilets the entire time, and in the men's, one useable toilet and one working urinal, attached you will find pictures. I spoke with the facility several times in regards to the condition. There response was that "we will get to it". After this response I gave ample time to correct the situation and went back to the bath houses, shocked to find the same condition. I then called the office once again, this is when I was informed that only one person was in charge of cleaning all bathrooms on the property (this camp ground has over 400 sites). I was flabbergasted by this and told them that they needed more employees to help with the cleaning of the bathrooms. I then proceeded to tell them that I would be filling a formal complaint with the health dept, only then did the facility immediately clean all of the bath houses, however those conditions lasted for less than half a day. Second, the upper pool was closed at least 3 times for feces in the pool, although the pool was cleaned with a vacuum, I do not believe that it stayed closed for the proper amount of time to allow the bacteria to be killed. Third, the property is not being maintained and is becoming dangerous to patrons; the putt-putt course was poorly maintained. One of the slides was "closed for repairs". The bumper boats left my son and I out in the middle of the rink (the staff had to walk though the water to get us). Forth, over this holiday the facility offered several opportunities for organizes games/activities. However this took a negative turn the "dances" were not chaperoned and a lot of underage drinking on the premises. Fifth, As per the packet that was given to each camper upon arrival: -at no given time should there be more passengers then seats - quite time 11pm to 7am - speed limit 5mph - golf cart must be operated by a licensed adult All of these rules were not followed/enforced along with many others. read more
