The food in upper refrigerator section felt room-temperature while the food in the bottom freezer was still frozen with a bit of frost forming just inside the drawer seal. Realizing we were outside regular office hours (~7 PM), we emailed/contacted four 24/7 appliance repair service providers. The first to respond could not schedule us until Wednesday; the 2nd service provider to respond, ABC Appliance Service, offered a repair date set for the next day. We asked them to contact us in the morning and a repair-person was scheduled sometime between noon-3 PM. At 12:20 PM, Bill showed up and after looking at our refrigerator, he diagnosed an inoperative "control panel." He explained why it wasn't a temperature-sensor issue (our thought) and why it wasn't a compressor problem (thank goodness!). Bill replaced the control panel and set the (default) numbers and told us that after 20 minutes, the refrigerator should finish up a defrost cycle and start becoming cooler. ABC Appliance Service response was immediate. We agreed on a reasonable appointment time and their service repair-person showed up, diagnosed, performed the repair and was on his way within a total of 40 minutes. We were very happy with their service.

It is the absolute worst customer service I have ever had. I left a final message saying it seems like you are screening your calls and not responding to me for what I can only think is you don't want to have to fix the repair you made that did t work. Then my wife started calling again and again... got someone that said they would 'transfer her to accounting' -- HAHA! There is no 'accounting department' - what a scam. I just can't believe you were just so bad at every aspect and interaction. All the calls, the messages unreturned, no confirmation for the visit, the no-call no-show, how easy it was to get a hold of you from a different 503 number, and then the lie about the accounting department. How are you even in business?

This is simply incorrect. The claim was denied because I did not follow up and specifically they asked for the invoice, which I failed to send. I remain convinced that I was overcharged for parts which you have declined to make right. My advice to any of your future customers remains the same.

Don't waste your time, or if you already did then do like I am and let Viking know directly not to list them as a "Silver" tier authorized repair vendor. All they do is show up and decline to do the repair then charge you a fee. Basically the only qualification I can think this business model requires is that a person have a driver's license. Avoid!
