It was pretty expensive to eat there for lunch and we barely had any leftovers... We got Pineapple Fried Rice and also Steamed Fish! I really liked those! We also tried the Mango Chicken and Beef Pad Thai. If I came again, I think I would get the fish again even though the portion was kind of small. It was almost impossible to fold the bun and take bites. The red curry was such a fantastic dish. Soft chicken, fried egg, cucumber served with flavorful red curry on top of rice. Mekhong checks these boxes. Our most recent takeout experience brought us good food but less than stellar takeout service. This is not a high bar but Mekhong did not meet this. When I walked in to get my order rather than ask me for a credit card, I got a smug look and a hand gesture of gesticulating long finger nails. After processing the order, the total did not come up on the screen, just a series of suggested tip amounts. When I asked what the total was, I got "I'll tell you after." Not good nor was the tip. Do NOT ask for a tip for a takeout order if you are going to be unhelpful, uncooperative, and somewhat rude. Go for the food but hold your nose with regard to service.
