SOLID CHOICE for sleep quarters when visiting Yellowstone National Park! Located approximately 16 miles away (or 20 minutes drive) from the West Yellowstone Gate, this establishment is situated on the banks of Hebgen Lake, Montana. Easy drive to get to after an exhausting day exploring! And you have the option to enjoy the many possibilities for food and refreshments in West Yellowstone town, like Firehole BBQ Company (featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives Show) and HUCKLEBERRY ICE CREAM!!! (Yeah, I may have a scoop or two or more of that during our stay lol!) We stayed 3 nights here during the month of August. First off, the balcony view is BEAUTIFUL! Rooms were spacious (we had a party of 5). Each night was a peaceful and comfortable rest. Couldn't hear our neighbors much except when they passed by the front door. The 2 queen size beds were comfortable, as was the pull out queen size futon. COVID-19 precautions were in play... social distancing, masks, contactless payments, hand sanitizer, and no social groupings permitted (breakfast options were placed in suite refrigerator). Jason was management and every day he had a friendly "Hello!" for us and always helpful. He responded promptly to texts each time we had a question or request. No elevators for top floor, so if you have heavy luggage consider asking for 1st floor accommodations. There are insect zappers strategically placed to help with mosquitoes and other flying nuisances. EASY RECOMMENDATION! We will definitely return if ever in the area again!! Thanks Lakeview :)

Great hotel, nice quality and good value, quiet and away from the busy town, close to two marinas and a wonderful little bar that has delicious food and crab legs! No TV in the bedroom things could be worse!

We happened to find this place last minute when we were visiting Yellowstone park. We needed up staying here two nights . The place was comfortable and had a full kitchen . It sleeps alot actually. There is two double key beds and a futon couch in living room. The floor was dirty which was a bummer but over all was great stay . The breakfast they served was good and lots of options to have from their little buffet room the view is spectacular was nice to watch the sunset and rise every morning. The staff was friendly and helpful . Very quiet at night and was nice to have the porch for me and my husband to sit in while the kids slept inside .

Found this gem at the last minute en route to spending at least a day at Yellowstone. The room was a great space, full kitchen, batch, 2 beds (queen i think, i just know they were super comfy), dining area, couch, and a little patio with a table and two chairs. Tue best find was their new firepit... depsite the wind we got a fire going for about ten mins but it was totally worth it. The staff is fantastic and we used every tip they gave us when we asked if there was anywhere in particular we should go/hike/drive/etc. Good mix of families and couples staying and most people were staying for at keast a few days It should be noted that the manager went out of his way to set up the fire put area for us, I didn't say anything because it seemed like they were still working it out maybe we were kinda trying it for the first time, but if you happen to stay here and its up and running please take advantage!!

It's not too notch, it's a good enough place where they serve warm breakfast so it's good to get your tummy full before u drive right in the park for your day. The room was spacious, having a side table for us to spread out. Beds were very comfortable. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was a cozy room with a nice Western vibe. Good country music played in the background. Breakfast was your basic kind of hotel food-I did like the variety of cold items like the yogurt selection and the cereal selection. The lobby served coffee, hot apple cider, and hot cocoa with marshmallows which was nice after our long tour of Yellowstone National Park. The lobby of the hotel was nicely decorated for the Fall with a beautiful Fall themed Christmas Tree. The pool and hot tub were nice and spacious and they had a water slide which was fast, but fun. A plus was it was located in the end of town so it was nice and quiet. Quick 5-7 minute walk to the center of town. Only minor dislikes were the shower where there were no grab bars and that the TV didn't work so well. Someone came in to fix it though. The tub also clogged with water during showers. Would recommend! Thank you for a great stay!

We booked the 2-room unit in the motel (a king bed in one room and two queens in the other). When we got to our room we were initially concerned about noise because it was along a high-traffic corridor for guests heading to the restaurant and main lobby. As it turned out, this wasn't an issue at all. The positives: - very convenient to the west entrance of Yellowstone - just drive down the street and you're there - short walk to all the restaurants and shops, though probably every other hotel in town is also a short distance away - super friendly front desk staff, easy to reach with questions - free cookies in the lobby (and they are delicious!) - very good breakfast buffet with hot items that changes a bit every day The less positive: - the rooms and furnishings are very dated, but clean - not enough seating for everyone - just a couple small arm chairs and a desk chair - the toilet/bathtub room is a little cramped, and the shower head is low so taller people will have to stoop - air conditioning was temperamental. We figured it out eventually but the first night was a little uncomfortable - bath amenities were a little spartan. A fresh bar of soap for the shower wasn't provided for our stay. It would be nice to have a separate conditioner because the shampoo/conditioner option wasn't all that great The cost of our three-night stay, with breakfast included, was about $1000. Given that we were there in the summer season just before the end of the school break, it wasn't entirely unexpected, plus we had two rooms and three large beds total. It was worth it.

The cabins were comfortable in size, extremely clean, and very well set up for a Yellowstone trip. The kitchenette was especially useful for us, and having a dishwasher was a great bonus. The location really could not be beat -- it was very close to the West Yellowstone entrance, which helped us avoid a lot of traffic and made it easy to structure our days in the park. We were able to see the upper part of Yellowstone one day, the lower part another day, and then use the rest of our time to revisit and explore the places we wanted to see more deeply. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. Another nice touch was the fire pits, which they turned on around 5 p.m. each evening. It was a fun and relaxed way to meet some of the other people staying at the cabins. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Comfortable cabins, a great location, friendly staff, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We had plenty of room for everyone. Of the 8 bedrooms, 6 have king size beds, and two of them have private full baths. There are 3 additional full baths for the others. The cabin itself is pretty new, so everything was clean and in working order. The location is very close to the west entrance to the park, and is convenient to downtown shops and restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of plates, silverware, pots and pans, etc. I was especially impressed with the quality of the pots and pans, very nice for a rental. The cabin also has a full sized washer and dryer, which was very convenient. The WIFI was available, but I have to say it is not very fast. Considering the location, this was not too surprising. There were no problems with billing, or unexpected charges. Overall a great choice for a large party, I highly recommend this location!
