SOLID CHOICE for sleep quarters when visiting Yellowstone National Park! Located approximately 16 miles away (or 20 minutes drive) from the West Yellowstone Gate, this establishment is situated on the banks of Hebgen Lake, Montana. Easy drive to get to after an exhausting day exploring! And you have the option to enjoy the many possibilities for food and refreshments in West Yellowstone town, like Firehole BBQ Company (featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives Show) and HUCKLEBERRY ICE CREAM!!! (Yeah, I may have a scoop or two or more of that during our stay lol!) We stayed 3 nights here during the month of August. First off, the balcony view is BEAUTIFUL! Rooms were spacious (we had a party of 5). Each night was a peaceful and comfortable rest. Couldn't hear our neighbors much except when they passed by the front door. The 2 queen size beds were comfortable, as was the pull out queen size futon. COVID-19 precautions were in play... social distancing, masks, contactless payments, hand sanitizer, and no social groupings permitted (breakfast options were placed in suite refrigerator). Jason was management and every day he had a friendly "Hello!" for us and always helpful. He responded promptly to texts each time we had a question or request. No elevators for top floor, so if you have heavy luggage consider asking for 1st floor accommodations. There are insect zappers strategically placed to help with mosquitoes and other flying nuisances. EASY RECOMMENDATION! We will definitely return if ever in the area again!! Thanks Lakeview :)

Great hotel, nice quality and good value, quiet and away from the busy town, close to two marinas and a wonderful little bar that has delicious food and crab legs! No TV in the bedroom things could be worse!

We happened to find this place last minute when we were visiting Yellowstone park. We needed up staying here two nights . The place was comfortable and had a full kitchen . It sleeps alot actually. There is two double key beds and a futon couch in living room. The floor was dirty which was a bummer but over all was great stay . The breakfast they served was good and lots of options to have from their little buffet room the view is spectacular was nice to watch the sunset and rise every morning. The staff was friendly and helpful . Very quiet at night and was nice to have the porch for me and my husband to sit in while the kids slept inside .

Found this gem at the last minute en route to spending at least a day at Yellowstone. The room was a great space, full kitchen, batch, 2 beds (queen i think, i just know they were super comfy), dining area, couch, and a little patio with a table and two chairs. Tue best find was their new firepit... depsite the wind we got a fire going for about ten mins but it was totally worth it. The staff is fantastic and we used every tip they gave us when we asked if there was anywhere in particular we should go/hike/drive/etc. Good mix of families and couples staying and most people were staying for at keast a few days It should be noted that the manager went out of his way to set up the fire put area for us, I didn't say anything because it seemed like they were still working it out maybe we were kinda trying it for the first time, but if you happen to stay here and its up and running please take advantage!!

A room with a view.

They truly made us feel welcome and cared for as if we were a guest in their home! They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for our excursions inside the park, even though that's not even required of them! They offered us binoculars and lent us a beach chair for my elderly mom to use in the park. Breakfast has tons of variety with different main course menus daily - pancakes, cereal, eggs, fresh oatmeal, yogurt parfait, fresh fruit, muffins, bagels, toasts....you name it....!! 24 hrs tea, coffee, hot cocoa, laundry rooms on 2 floors, 24 hrs free ice and drinking water refills, rooms have microwave, fridge w freezer, very spacious and clean, beds very comfy, room furniture is rustic wood with wildlife themed decor. Lobby has vending machines for drinks and snacks, internet workstation with printer, tea, coffee, hot cocoa etc. Stayed in many other hotels both large chains and small family owned, but found Kelly Inn staff to be the most friendly, warm and welcoming, especially Vereniz and Derek! They also helped locate and retrieve our shoe that mistakenly went with housekeeping to their laundry area. Whatever we requested for our room was sent to us very quickly. Housekeeping ensured our room was cleaned and fully stocked daily! It is these small, kind gestures that make hotel staff stand out because guests leave happy and their vacations become memorably sweet!

The room was spacious, having a side table for us to spread out. Beds were very comfortable. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was a cozy room with a nice Western vibe. Good country music played in the background. Breakfast was your basic kind of hotel food-I did like the variety of cold items like the yogurt selection and the cereal selection. The lobby served coffee, hot apple cider, and hot cocoa with marshmallows which was nice after our long tour of Yellowstone National Park. The lobby of the hotel was nicely decorated for the Fall with a beautiful Fall themed Christmas Tree. The pool and hot tub were nice and spacious and they had a water slide which was fast, but fun. A plus was it was located in the end of town so it was nice and quiet. Quick 5-7 minute walk to the center of town. Only minor dislikes were the shower where there were no grab bars and that the TV didn't work so well. Someone came in to fix it though. The tub also clogged with water during showers. Would recommend! Thank you for a great stay!

They have fresh baked cookies in the lobby and you get a voucher valid for up to $10 for breakfast and coffee, juice, soda, or hot chocolate. The front desk gals were friendly. We didn't use the pool (outdoor) or hot tub, but they looked nice. We paid about $170 per night not including taxes. They have RV parking. The last two nights, it seemed that a lot of the hot water ran out from others utilizing the shower next door at the same time. 2023 #51

Highly recommended as it came with our room. The room was clean, decorated, the beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was excellent. The TV had a wide selection of channels, and it all worked correctly and was clean. Yes, this hotel may be costing just a little bit more. Since we will know, most likely not be back to Yellowstone I will tell you the truth in stating that they are under pricing their rooms at this place . They should be asking $100 more a night. Conservative estimate of everything that I've seen throughout all different hotel states and areas. They need to up their rates because they are actually too low by at least 20 to 40%. When we have breakfast, we watched a head, waiter training, a newer waiter. I was actually watching in a managerial way to see if he was following the correct way to train new employees. He was perfect and followed every single cell. They were polite, respectful, and their jobs extremely well. We really appreciated that Highly recommend

The cabins were comfortable in size, extremely clean, and very well set up for a Yellowstone trip. The kitchenette was especially useful for us, and having a dishwasher was a great bonus. The location really could not be beat -- it was very close to the West Yellowstone entrance, which helped us avoid a lot of traffic and made it easy to structure our days in the park. We were able to see the upper part of Yellowstone one day, the lower part another day, and then use the rest of our time to revisit and explore the places we wanted to see more deeply. The staff were also extremely friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. Another nice touch was the fire pits, which they turned on around 5 p.m. each evening. It was a fun and relaxed way to meet some of the other people staying at the cabins. Overall, we were very happy with our stay. Comfortable cabins, a great location, friendly staff, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The cabin itself is pretty new, so everything was clean and in working order. The location is very close to the west entrance to the park, and is convenient to downtown shops and restaurants. The kitchen had plenty of plates, silverware, pots and pans, etc. I was especially impressed with the quality of the pots and pans, very nice for a rental. The cabin also has a full sized washer and dryer, which was very convenient. The WIFI was available, but I have to say it is not very fast. Considering the location, this was not too surprising. There were no problems with billing, or unexpected charges. Overall a great choice for a large party, I highly recommend this location!
