First time there ! They had food buffet variety of different dishes including sweets . From Chinese to Pakistani dish! Food quality was excellent! Prices were reasonable and and service was amazing!! I must say customer service was excellent. The cashier walked with us and showed us the way to the buffet and offered us free samples before we start eating, and welcomed us! At the end they made us fresh kabobs and didn't charge us for the Kabob they also offered a home dish they made which I loved!! I highly highly recommend this place. Great for catering and all sorts of occasions like (Weddings and birthdays) I highly recommend this place! Great with families and friends !!!

Amazing food, fantastic variety. We had everything from the classic Mac and cheese, southern fried chicken, orange chicken, fried rice to paya and biryani. The breads were amazing, choice between naan and Puri. All the food was hot and fresh. Four stars as the place lacks an ambiance .

It was the worst food I ever had in my life there was a bug in my soup and the customer service was ridiculously unprofessional I would not recommend anyone going to this restaurant. We drove from Virginia to Maryland because we heard so many great things about this restaurant by the time we got there we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes just to be seated the waiter brought the drink and the total was flat basically was water down the food was cold and tasteless I am preparing some soup which I found mosquito in there try to explain to the hostess of the situation she just kind of walked away from us

Flies throughout the entire window... no one seems to car

They had about 8 rows of food and a separate BBQ Grill section where the chicken tandoori, bihari chicken (best dish), and seekh kebab's were made along with the naans.

I swear the God, this place is the worst now. It must be closed. Also, they hold the seekh kabobs in their bare hands (without gloves). You are not supposed to touch the food with bare hands, but they even HOLD seekh kabobs in both hands (one by one), and then put them on the plate.

Super oily, meat was terrible quality and it tasted like crap. As a nihari lover, I was greatly disappointed. But their beef bihari kababs are amazing!! Sooo yummy! We also love their biryani and karahi. We have had issues a couple times with getting the wrong dish. But they are very willing to acknowledge and rectify any issues. That's why we keep coming back. They seem to care about their customers and have always made up for any issues we experienced. For example, one of the dishes I ordered last time was the mild Daal Makhani (for a toddler) and instead, we got spicy Chana Masala. I called them and the person I spoke to quickly apologized for the error and gave us credit for a free daal makhani next time. Also, to make up for the terrible nihari we got last time, they gave us a free chicken entree. That's amazing customer service in my opinion!

This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. I've been here three times and my…read moreexperience just kept getting worse each time. The first time I came here was for dinner with my family and we all got food poisoning the next day and this was the only meal we had together that day. The second time was even worse, it's probably the worst service I've ever received. We sat down at a table by ourselves because there was no host or any staff. A server came out and saw us and gave us menus and water but then, he just disappeared. Half an hour later, another staff member came out and sat at the front desk. We waved at her to get our server and she said he'll be right back. I don't know what could have been keeping him busy since we were the only people there. Then when he finally came out, five mins later, he proceeded to talk with the other staff member instead of checking on us. We just left the restaurant and neither of them said anything. The third time (because I never learn) I came here was for the lunch buffet. It was again, completely empty except for my family and me. The host did seat us this time and was very polite. We went to try the buffet, a few of the food items were missing (like it wasn't ready to serve) and the kitchen staff was bringing them out as we went up to get our food. The food was mediocre at best but thankfully none of us got seriously sick this time. Although, we did have some stomach problems later that day. It was probably the best experience I've had here but that's because I set the bar so low for this place that it made me surprised to have a mostly normal dining experience. After three times of being disappointed at this restaurant, I will never go back here again.

The buffet contains various curries, rice, chicken biryani, salads, tandoori chicken legs, etc. The buffet doesn't include any kabobs though. Everything is kept on a buffet table (similar to a cafeteria-style one) with plastic lids keeping everything warm. The food is definitely done in a very homestyle-like manner. I didn't think the foods offered through the buffet were quite spicy or anything. If anything very homestyle (tasty with a chicken curry that had meat on the bone) and mild on the spice flavorings. I really enjoyed eating the yellow daal.

We have always passed Pioneer Pit Beef during our many travels on Rolling Rd. over the years and…read moredecided to stop by to see if this pit beef was worth the stop. We arrived shortly before closing. Upon entering, the place is really small and the ambiance was filled with a smokey scent and can be a bit claustrophobic when filled to capacity. There is off street parking available on the lot behind the store. There were tables and benches in front of the store to sit and eat your food. NOTE: THIS IS A CASH ONLY BUSINESS. We were greeted by a pleasant man and placed our order behind clear plexiglass: a "super" (extra meat) pit beef, a pit turkey, and an order of fries. They also had pit ham, gravy and you could get the sandwich as a sub. We watched as they prepared the order through the plexiglass, cutting the meat on deli cutting machines and weighing each meat order. We asked if the fries were hot and were told they were "always" hot as we watched them take fries they were previously fried and "double fry" them for crispiness. They had a list of sauces available to add on the sandwich or on the side. We got the "tiger" sauce (horseradish and mayo) and bbq sauces on the side. Our order was ready in no time and the sandwiches: the pit beef sandwich was piled high with thin slices of well cooked although a bit dry (don't know if it was because it was the end of the day and we arrived close to closing), pit beef with a great smokey flavor. I added the bbq sauce (which was sweet and a bit vinegary, which I liked) on the meat and it added the perfect sweet balance to the savory smokiness of the meat. We wanted to try the tiger sauce (combo of mayo and horseradish) but were afraid as it seemed like this sauce was sitting out on the counter and with the mayo, we didn't want an upset stomach. The bun was fresh and I really enjoyed this sandwich. The pit turkey had thin slices (this meat seemed to be similar to the turkey you can get from the deli) on a fresh roll. The meat was not dry and this sandwich was good as well. The fries were best eaten as soon as we got them and they were hot, crispy, and fresh. All in all, we enjoyed our food and would come back again to grab a couple of sandwiches and try the gravy option.

The beef was incredibly tender, juicy, and far surpassed what I've had at Canopy Pit Beef in Ellicott City. It's a no-frills setup: cash only, picnic tables only, and no indoor seating, but the quick, friendly service more than makes up for it. I just wish they were closer... though maybe it's better that they're not. Highly recommend.
