I'm so in love with the duvet cover and bamboo pillows I bought from Lala! Everything is buttery soft, lightweight, and has that dreamy, beachy aesthetic I was hoping for. The textile are all from India, so these are extra special since I got to bring a piece of California and India back to Michigan with me! The staff was super helpful and welcoming, and the whole store has this peaceful, curated vibe that makes you want to redo your whole house. Definitely one of my favorite Laguna finds. If you're into beautiful, cozy home goods with a coastal twist, Lala is a must-visit! They even shipped my finds for me since I did not want to cart back with me on my flight. I've been spending half my day with KC bedding for about half my life. Heh heh. Customer service is mostly awesome, but occasionally it seems like it goes off the rails when they are busy due to supply chain issues, new seasonal releases etc.. Such is life. It's not always easy. Laguna Beach is a legendary place as everyone knows. I lived nearby for three years and frequently question my sanity for returning to the East Coast. I visit as often as I can and I absolutely would not come within an hour of Laguna Beach and not stop in to this store. Of all the cool boutiques around, and there are many, this store is the queen. Kerry Cassill is filled with the most beautiful bohemian and feminine textiles, fabrics, clothing and gift items. She is the queen of gorgeous Indian style block prints, printed on the finest cottons. Quality in cotton is very important to me, for comfort, durability, ease of laundering-and her clothing and bedding and fabrics begin soft and evolve even sweeter. The store itself is gorgeous and I was so lucky to have Kerry herself show me around and recommend items on my last visit. I am a faithful mail order customer as well, and the staff is super sweet and helpful if you call and want to see the larger selection available in store. I recently bought a new house, and interior design is my longtime hobby so I was really inspired by looking at the store since it is the beachy West Coast boho relaxed vibe I am doing in my new home. I get lots of jaw drops and enthusiastic inquiries when I wear her clothes or someone sees my guest room or curtains. LaLa- Hand dyed, very soft and ever- improving textile designs mark the character of this store's main gig- Kerry Cassil brand bedding and clothing. The owner of the store is also the owner and designer of the brand, so the selection is vastly Kerry Cassill. The theme is natural, block print type textile designs, yet the designs change frequently (several times per year) and then they are done as in- you can only find them on E-bay. I am a fan. For me, it's all about the bedding at this store. Although I do have 2 dresses which always score points when I wear them. (My wrap dress is amazing!) The cotton is ultra soft and airy, perfect for Southern California climate. The bedding is fabulouse. the designs are diverse enough that you can go hof wild on the ultra "bohemian" or even hippie look by getting all her options for teh room/and or dining options. Or as I prefer to do, I mix and match I love her more graphic prints which I pair with modern furniture or mixed with more subdued and solid bedding it looks ultra cool, modern yet earthy, But- hey-it's just my opinion. I have a couple dresses, a few tunics (amazing beach wear by the way) and a half a dozen bedding sets. I love them all and as I said they are perfect to mix and match with your other household gear. This is definitely not strictly "sets" only type stuff. So- that is my opinion, Oh and for those who want a littel diversity they do carry other stuff, designer jeans, purses, African Straw bags, Designer jewelery, panties and of course "Ultimate Hair Ties" which are fantastic. So- I noticed there weren't many reviews, or actually only a single review, which I felt didn't do LaLa justice. I was in there today buying napkins to mail to my sister.. I love this store, but I can't figure out if they actually want to sell anything. They rarely answer the phone during business hours and I've left two messages during business hours and never received a call back. Do they actually want the business? I guess not. I also agree w/ the other reviewers who say that you are totally ignored by the staff when you enter. It's not a big shop by any means so it's not like they don't see you. DYES RUN! I don't care what they claim, but they do! No matter how fun their prints are, I think they are expensive, and very frail. Too delicate for us! There are other designers that use Indian prints, that are comparable price, that stand behind their products, and the bedding lasts. read more

Magical bedding! I cannot sleep on anything other than Kerry Cassill. Her prints are so unique and one of a kind. Crafted using hand block printing, giving each piece a unique that special touch. The store always has the softest brands and her clothes are so cute. It is a must see store when in Laguna with an ocean view off the patio. Her napkins always delight when given as gifts. I always take a deep breath when I walk into this store because I end up wanting everything in it. Throughout the years I have bought my favorite, her pillow cases, the table napkins, bath robes, soft casual cotton pants, sweet, soft shirts, timeless designs, all made in beautiful, light cotton. The prints are the reason I'm addicted. Kerry has a great eye and always has something fresh. Today on her sale rack I found a short, black, light linen jacket that I will wear forever. They don't stand behind their product because it doesn't last long. I just had a quilt that was washed and is practically see through and they told me they only guarantee their stuff for 14 days. I've been going to this store for years... pretty much since the day that they opened. I love their bedding!!! The clothes is awesome as well although, I'm not the kind of girl that will usually splurge on her clothing. But... my bed is my castle and this store truly delivers. The fabric that they use for their duvets, pillow cases etc are out of this world!!! The prints are amazing... truly funky yet chic. If you like mix and match, you'll have a great time at Lala. I can honestly tell you that the fabric washes wonderfully... the more you wash, the softer it gets and... you didn't think that it could get any softer but, it does!!! I LOVE my bedding... it's the one thing that I don't mind spending some extra bucks on. The fabric contours to the shape of your comforter... I have the best down comforter around and Lala's duvets make it even better... it feels like I'm sleeping with the soft down feathers of my comforter up against me. Although I'm not a clothes hound, I do love their funky tunics and skirts. I think that I have one in about every print that they carry. I wear them mostly around the house or to the beach as a cover up... the same soft fabric that I sleep against, I get to enjoy during the day as well. You can't go wrong shopping at Lala... Its a cute place, but the whole store is the same thing just in different colors or patterns. Everything is very bohemian looking and made in India; you can buy a shirt in the same pattern as your sheets which interesting but not really my style. They carry other popular name brands but the owner is CRAZY so she makes me not want to shop there. read more
