I am deeply disappointed with Lam Clinic. My first visit took me over my scheduled appointment to get called on. When I got in, although they were nice, they kept on advertising me about their supplements and surgeries, claiming to be doctors who can fix anything that other doctors cannot. Don't fall for it. My annual check-up appointment was over $146 and when I called to cancel on them, they charged me $40 for exceeding the grace period of 48 hours when I had my appointment next monday and called them on a friday. read more

This clinic puts their "policies" before people. Initially, I was very impressed by this clinic and I really do like the PA Colin. However, shortly after beginning to go there, I realized that their management is very militant, cold, and lacking compassion. I had an IV appointment scheduled, and their policy is to not allow service if a person is more than 10 minutes late. My car battery had died the day of my appointment, only to be discovered when I got into the car to leave for the appointment. A neighbor helped jumpstart my vehicle, I texted the business that I was on my way, and I was only 15 minutes late, but I was still refused service. The population that they are serving here is mostly chronically ill people. I have been chronically ill for 11 years and also suffering from extreme fatigue as part of that. To have such rigid standards and policies for this population of people who are trying to heal and get better is not loving or kind. A place like this that lacks compassion is not a place where I feel is conducive to my overall health and well-being, therefore, I canceled all of my future appointments at this facility. Unless their management can figure out how to be compassionate, understanding, and loving with this population, it is not a good fit for me at this time of my healing journey. Also, they are billing my insurance more than $500 for a simple IV bag which out-of-pocket would probably cost me $75. They also charged me $50 out of pocket in additional fees, even though my insurance has already met my out-of-pocket max which I do believe goes against their contractual agreement with the insurance company. They did not even tell me about the $50 fee until the second visit and they stated they forgot to charge me for the first one, so they charged me for two. This appears very greedy to me. There were other issues at this clinic as well. None of the front office staff knew the exact amount of the vitamins and ingredients of the IV bags, I left messages for nurses and they did not know either. Then they ended up canceling a bunch of appointments that I had scheduled for IVs when I had asked for them to simply change the type of IV, not cancel it. Most of the staff speaks English as a second language, and I think that is where some of the barriers arise in miscommunication. But to be so rigid on their policies is not a good fit for the chronically ill population, and I am better served elsewhere. I can understand being militant and rigid with their employees, but not holding their chronically ill patient to that same standard. I sure hope that they can figure that part out, for the benefit of all. Life doesn't always work perfectly as planned (it must be nice for those in management for whom life is perfect) and sometimes flexibility and compassion are called for at times. read more
