I've had mysterious fatigue for 3 years and visited many different doctors, naturopaths, done MRIs, acupuncture, etc. Dr. Jeremy Lam was the first to diagnose adrenal fatigue and within a month of the supplements the condition had improved. I appreciate their preventative approach and using tests and analysis, so there is data to back up the methods. As well, it's comforting to know that they are trained MDs. I also had discovered parasites and a host of bowel issues, and we followed a course of antibiotics. So sometimes conventional medicine is used as well if needed, which feels like a balanced and sensible approach. I came to Dr Jeremy LAM very lethargic and weak. My thyroid labs would show borderline abnormal. My heart rate would always be tachycardia or racing, I couldn't sleep, my energy levels were 2/10, I had night sweats, nausea, I felt bloated, tremors, I felt cold/ chills. I kept going to Kaiser requesting labs and all normal except borderline hyperthyroid. I requested to see an endocrinologist. I was put on thyroid medicine for 2 weeks and I felt extremely awful. I felt like my body was slowly shutting down. I even called the ambulance on myself once. I was getting weaker and weaker. I can say the weakness is similar to when you have covid. Finding the Lam Clinic has been a saving grace in my life! When I started going to the Lam clinic I knew something was wrong with my health but I could not pinpoint it. I was alway tired (could barely get through each day) and my entire body ached all the time. Once I started seeing Dr. Jeremy Lam and following his recommendations I started to slowly feel better. I am beyond disappointed. I went to the office 2/3 schedule visits in a one month span to just see the MD for a check up. First visit was a copay fee and a business meeting where I was sold a green powder to drink that taste disgusting. The second visit, which I begged to be just my physical because that's what I wanted ended up being this long panel of tests (involved electrodes on my head and palm and foot reading) which now... I am receiving bills of $200+ for diagnostic testing and stuff I don't even know the results of, because that cost an additional copay to have results read to me and probably be up sold on another "health product". I won't be going back to the clinic because although I value health, it just didn't need to be this complicated and costly right off the first visit. read more

I was so excited to maybe have found a good functional MD place. But no such luck. Terrible experience. I have no idea if the dr is any good because we never got that far. The onboarding process was a mess. The office/admin team was a mess. The nurse was a mess - couldn't collect a blood sample. So after driving 2 hrs to get there and 2hrs to get home, plus an entire 4 hrs i spent onsite, the entire day was wasted. This seems to be an ongoing problem with dr offices (not a covid thing just a people thing). The dr may or may not be great but their "support" team makes it such a horrible experience that you never actually find out if the dr is any good. And for fun they decided to call and tell me my insurance was canceled when it wasn't. So i wasted another 2hrs on that. I wasted a total of 12hrs with them and got zero medical help but hey I did get a whole bunch stress for my efforts so there's that. read more

I would never recommend Lam Clinic to anyone experiencing adrenal fatigue. I worked with Dr Carrie Lam for 4 weeks and I am much sicker now than before I started. She started me on a detox protocol that made me incredibly ill. I repeatedly emailed her with concerns about my responses and symptoms and each time she would put me on a gentler protocol and insisted that detoxing was the best thing for my body. After the third time I emailed her extremely upset with how sick I was she still felt that I needed to be detoxing. I discontinued her treatments and I am now still in a full blown adrenal crash hardly able to get up and function. Her emails were curt with no empathy on how this was affecting my well being and ability to function. I honestly feel that if I continued working with Dr Carrie I would end up in full blown adrenal exhaustion. read more

They are what I consider a predatory provider preying on people who don't get answers elsewhere therefore they take advantage of the situation but attempting to sell expensive procedures and supplements which do not work. I went to the Lam clinic and saw Dr. Karrie Lam. Overall it was a terrible experience. Her send off of the appointment was to ask to pray over me, disregarding my objection. I came to see a qualified MD not a clergy, to figure out what medical condition is causing my suffering. After I endured the prayer, her nurse accompanied by an underling in training, came to draw my blood and missed my vein completely causing pain and bruising for a week. Sadly, that was only the beginning. When my test results came in with a couple of values well out of range the office did not even contact us. After seeing the tests results in the portal, my wife had to call to inquire about them. After persisting, she was able to get Dr. Lam on the phone; her only advice was "take him to the ER immediately". Turns out I was only slightly dehydrated. Dr Lam never even bothered to follow up on a patient she sent to the ER a day before! Not surprisingly when my saliva hormone test results came back with values WELL OUTSIDE the range neither Dr. Lam or her staff, contacted us. Seems to me the only thing these people care about is the money they make when you come in for office visits. This is DEFINITELY NOT compassionate or comprehensive medical care. Too bad Yelp doesn't offer a ZERO STAR rating option. read more
