Amazing food! Truly surprised with how great the quality was, will be returning soon. Really popular dinner spot, so I recommend taking to-go or be expecting a wait. Worth the wait!

Passing through and was just craving something different I came here based on the reviews .. The food was good but not great As another reviewer commented it was not authentic and by that I mean the soul isn't there I don't know how to put my finger on it ..it's missing flavor with that being said it's ok the place is clean Atmosphere is meh but k would eat here again if I had to. Would not be my first choice stop by though

Stopped by on my drive out of town after a business meeting. I admit I relied on the rather positive reviews on Yelp but I am not sure why they received so many positive reviews since my experience was sub par. First of all, no one in the restaurant is authentically Thai, not that it matters that much but does somehow help support the cuisine being served. I have been to many Thai restaurants at all price ranges, but the dishes here didnt taste authentic whatsoever. We started off with spring rolls which tasted ok but were a bit cold so it was apparently fried earlier, or sitting too long before being brought to table. Two main entrees were a garlic chicken dish and Pad Sew chicken. The first arrived more like a frajita on a sizzling plate. Other than garlic, there was not much flavor. The noodle dish looked bland but did have some flavor. It was ok but again, nothing authentic tasting. The place itself has zero ambience. Music being played sounded like elevator music. Worst of all to me is that the bathroom door was literally facing the dining room. There was no attempt to put a plant or something in front so that if the door was left open you could literally see the toilet from your table! Not to mention, and I hate to say this, the toilet was NOT clean!!!! Horrible reflection of ay restaurant. The trash bin was overflowing and left ajar and the toilet seat was left up and I could see lots of yuck under the rim. Overall, I would not come back and not recommend.

What a hidden little gem. I've worked in this town for years and I never knew about this restaurant until now. I went there for dinner and overall I was very pleased. The waitress was very tentative and sweet. The food was delicious and beautifully severed w/gorgeous garnishes. I ordered Tom Kha Soup w/chicken and Shrimp Pad Thai. Both plates had great flavor, the only complaint would be that the shrimp was a little over cooked (dry). We wanted to get the whole experience so we decided to get dessert as well so we ordered fried banana's drizzled w/chocolate syrup w/coconut ice cream, delicious! I loved the overall feel as soon as you walked in with the ambient music and lightening. I plan on going again!

A dear friend and I met here for lunch and had an enjoyable meal. Amazingly, you can have a conversation in the place... there's no over produced blaring music acting as a distraction. We were served one of my favorite table snacks when we were seated- prawn chips- and ordered from the lunch menu... which comes with a couple of soup choices- yes, you guessed it- Tom kha gai! Very reasonably priced and the service was on point. Is it a Michelin worthy place- no, however, the combination of service, price, and food quality earns all five stars in my book!

He proceeds to hit on me when I made it very clear I wasn't interested and just wanted to get my food. I wish the nightmare ended then but when I got home and opened the containers, there was a rancid smell coming from the rice and lo and behold they served me moldy rice. Mind you, rice costs pennies to make. The rest of the food was also below average, below mediocre. It's disappointing too bc there's not a lot of Thai options in the area so you'd think the owners would want to be the best to retain their customers. Awful awful awful.

Lovely little spot, I wish I lived closer to visit more often!…read more I am a fiend for Thai food, it's one of my favorite cuisines so I'm always happy to try a new spot on my radar. Truly, I am skeptical about trying Asian foods that aren't in metro Atlanta but Thai Spoon impressed me! I visited on a Sunday after opening , I was sat quickly and got to enjoy my meal within 15ish minutes. Quick service and my waiter was very nice! The drunken noodles were light on flavor and a little spicy, I wish it was more spicy and more flavorful but I think it suits the area and it might be just me. The portion is pretty big and very filling, I wish there was a bit more noodle but the veggies and chicken made up for it. I would love order this again next time I visit. Mango sticky rice would be my final meal if it were up to me. That being said, this place made a beautiful plate of my beloved. I just wish there was more rice!!! The mango was delicious and beautiful, great size with it being non mango season. Would love to order this again too! Clearly, this restaurant has all of my favorite Thai dishes in one place so I had to get a Thai iced coffee. It was perfectly sweet and strong, I'm daydreaming about it right now actually Thai Spoon fulfilled my Thai cravings for now, and they will see me again when I'm in the area! I wish I had found it sooner.

My partner and I decided to try Tani Thai 02.20.2026 and stopped by around 6:30PM for dinner…read more First off, the interior seemed clean and well-kept. The ambiance was dark and intimate, which I appreciated -- it gave the space a cozy, relaxed vibe that felt nice for a dinner date. The music was low and soft, which worked well since most of the tables were talking pretty loudly. It didn't feel chaotic or overstimulating, and we were still able to have a comfortable conversation. Service was decent -- we were seated quickly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Here's what we ordered: Tiger's Tears ($15) - 3/5 This was the dish I was most excited about. It's described as grilled beef with chili-lime seasoning, onions, scallions, and sweet peppers. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The beef was noticeably tough, chewy, and a bit sinewy rather than tender and juicy. The chili-lime sauce was very sharp and aggressively acidic -- overwhelmingly sour to the point where it masked the savory, char-grilled flavor of the meat. It was supposed to be spicy, but as an Asian who regularly eats and enjoys spicy food, there was barely any heat at all. The dish looked vibrant and colorful, but flavor-wise it felt unbalanced and slightly one-dimensional. Basil Fried Rice with Chicken ($18) - 2.5/5 The menu labeled this as spicy as well, but again, there was zero kick. Not even a subtle warmth. It tasted like very standard, plain fried rice -- mildly seasoned, slightly oily, and lacking depth. The fresh Thai basil aroma wasn't very pronounced, and the overall flavor felt muted and underwhelming. The chicken was okay texture-wise, but the dish as a whole didn't stand out or justify the price point. It needed more heat, more fragrance, and more boldness to feel like true Thai basil fried rice. Coconut Mushroom Soup with Chicken ($5.50) - 2/5 This one was disappointing. When it first arrived, it was comforting and creamy with a light coconut aroma. Initially, it tasted balanced and mildly savory. However, as it sat and I alternated between dishes, the flavor became increasingly sour and slightly off-putting. The chicken was extremely dry, stringy, and overcooked, which made it difficult to enjoy. The broth lacked the rich, silky depth I was hoping for and ended up tasting thin, overly acidic, and somewhat flat. Thai Teas ($5.50 each) - 3.5/5 Honestly, these saved the night. Sweet, creamy, and refreshing -- exactly what you expect from a good Thai tea. Smooth, well-balanced, and flavorful. Water - 0/5 I took one sip and didn't touch it again. It tasted like straight tap water with a faint cleaning solution scent. Thankfully, we had the Thai Teas to rely on. Overall, the experience was okay but not memorable. The atmosphere and ambiance were pleasant, but the food didn't quite deliver -- especially considering how Thai cuisine is typically bold, aromatic, spicy, and layered. For us, the dishes leaned either too sour or too bland, without much balance in between. Given the prices, we were expecting more depth and stronger flavors. Not a terrible experience, but not one we'd rush back for either.

I asked first if they cooked in peanut oil since I'm allergic to peanuts. The hostess told me she would check and came back and told me they cooked in vegetable oil... so we got seated pretty quickly. The service was pretty good. We ordered our food which took some time but the wait wasn't too bad. We ordered the fresh basil rolls as an appetizer, I ordered the shrimp & garlic wine and my friend ordered the tiger tears salad. We also ordered 2 cocktails a old fashioned and a lychee martini. As well as the mango with sticky rice for dessert. Let me tell you all the food was tasty and excellent. The ambiance was very cool. Definitely a cool place for a date night. I can say I will definitely be back again.
