I was in an accident in January and the other driver took out my drivers side front wheel and front end. By chance, I ended up with this wonderful tow truck driver who works for Lamar Little. At first he was persistent with trying to get me to have my car repaired at Lamar Little. I'm always Leary of people who are too persistent When he said he would happily take me and my car home I felt his guidance was genuine. That being said , I had my car repaired at Lamar Little. Sam was amazing and helped me navigate the insurance companies. Since the other driver was at fault and then some the police report upload was going to take the entire allotted 10 days. I had to file on my insurance and have the other drivers insurance reimburse my insurance for the repairs and rental. Lamar did a fabulous job with the repair and my car looked and drove like brand new. Sam handled the adjuster in order to do his best work. Lamar will fight for you so you have what you need and the best repair possible. This place is first class and if I ever need collision repair again they have my business! This shop continues to surpass my expectations! I come here for all of my car needs, whether it's blacking out some lights on my car, installing new lights, or fixing my car after an accident (which is what happened this time). Everyone is so courteous and despite the rampant flooding last week, my car was still done on time! Unfortunately, this shop gets a bad rap for people who's cars get towed and people have to pay for things that are required and the shop doesn't get enough coverage on the amazing repair work that they do! From the moment I was in my accident and the tower showed I felt overwhelmed by the pushiness. I informed the shop my insurance would be transporting it over to another shop and the lady on the phone was very rude and wanted to know where I was taking it. I think a few days later received a call from Lamar telling me how my insurance was not going to cover my rental and that the shop it was being transported to was not going to service it for free that I would be OOP thousands of dollars. I called my insurance immediately after to find out that that was not at all true. I feel they were extremely pushy and rude. read more

Had a small size paint and bodywork job that they handled for me recently. The way they handled everything, you would have thought I was a huge customer. I have used them twice now and the job was done better than I could have expected within the timeframe they promised! Had an accident on July 17th - car was towed and stored to the premises until insurance decision was made - because of ease and simplicity, I chose to have Lamar LIttle repair my car. Scott kept me informed during the whole process - everytime I talked on the phone or in person - everyone was polite and courteous! (not sure about previous reviews?) They had my car for until the 7th when they called to tell me it was finished. I picked it up on Monday, the 10th of August and it was in perfect condition. The interior was immaculate as they detailed the inside - 2 spilled cokes because of the accident on the front seats - everything looked perfect. I hope I won't ever have to return, :) -- however, if I do, I will be glad to return! read more

My car was towed there. Interior and exterior were super clean before. When I got my car I had an infestation of ants. I had no food or liquids in my car. Their lot is clearly infested with ants. This is the lowest class of my care being towed. Of course I was blamed for them parking my car in an ant infested area. Not their fault they parked my car on an ant mound! They might as well have parked it in a ditch. I had the tiniest bit of what was a fast food fry, hardly " food in my car" that millimeter of a fry must of been there for weeks, never had ants before! Yet I was told it's my fault I had food in my car, non existent food. Naturally you can't control ants, yet if my car wasn't infested before and after being on your lot it becomes infested, where did the ant infestation occur? Your lot. I offered to pay to have the lot exterminated so no one would have their car parked on an ant hill. They declined and seemed not to really care at all. "Sorry" is a very easy word to say. There was no sorry their lot is infested, instead it was my fault piece of a French fry fell weeks ago. The ants didn't infest until my car was in their property. Never take your care here unless you want ants and to be told it's your fault. What a disgrace. I'll spray your lot with ant killers for you. No one should have to experience this. I will personally come and spray your lot or pay an exterminator! Don't blame me for your ant infested lot and for parking my car near ants. Your in the country with naturally occurring bugs and ants and you claim it's the drivers fault that a ant infestation occurs. They could at least of apologized for the disaster, yet they were very defensive. Likely I'm the first victim of their lot. As owners, I would be ashamed. They didn't care, completely defensive. Directed me to the car wash with free vacuums. Thanks for ruining my Lexus! read more

They did phenomenal work at a good price, provided great customer service, and handled my car rental needs. I had lent/given (I kept title, paid insurance and maintenance -they couldn't afford) a spare car that, I had intended to sell, to a well deserving family with 4 young children who had hit on some hard times. After a year, he totaled the car in what I believe was, at worst on his part, a mutual fault accident. I didn't carry collision on this car - '96 Buick with 112,000 miles when I "gave it away"! I was out of town at the time and Little was "selected" for the tow by the investigating officer. I paid the tow and turned the title over to Little for the car to be sold to a crusher. I'm still trying to collect from my insurance, and will share any proceeds with Little. They could not have treated me any better or been more patient through the whole process that began on 6/11/17, got partially resolved in August/Sept., and still continuing with my insurance claims people because I'm going after them with good cause. I also volunteered to Little that any future body work - I do "lend" cars from time to time - would end up in their shop. read more

My vehicle was impounded by the police after it's involvement in chase. I did not run. It was crashed head on into a concrete culvert. Lamar little towing was dispatched by the TPD to tow it to the police impound. Once the police were done with their investigation of my vehicle I was informed to settle up with Lamar Little & bring them a receipt to release my vehicle. On scene, the driver told me $130, $80 for the tow and $50 for the winch. When I called to make payment the office told me $200. There were 2 charges added. $50 because the driver was on scene for 30 minutes (didn't know drivers made $100 an hour) & $20 for an impound fee. Mind you the vehicle was at the police impound, lamar little did not store the vehicle at any given time. I was able to contact someone at TPD that called Lamar Little the next day. Lamar little dropped off the $50 fee but kept the impound fee on the ticket. How sad that they felt it necessary to take advantage of the victim of a crime. I will never use them or recommend them to anyone, ever!!! These are the type of companies that give tow drivers a bad reputation. read more
