Within one year, it experience multiple overheating warnings, each time (4) returning it to the dealer. Each time, they returned the vehicle saying nothing was wrong or couldn't find an issue. On the 5th time, they kept the vehicle for several weeks, saying they needed to order and replace multiple engine parts from Europe because the engine coolant was leaking into the exhaust. The vehicle was under 30k miles. All of this with no regard for my personal safety. Since then, the vehicle has continued to show overheating warnings, multiple paint and interior issues. When I contacted Land Rover/Jaguar about my concern and issues, they offered $2500 toward a new purchase. I have contacted a Lemon Law attorney now and Land Rover/Jaguar is telling the court it was never their responsibility. BUYER BEWARE, DO NOT PURCHASE A LAND ROVER.

Todd worked hard to make a deal that we were all happy with. Beyond delivery we encountered a hiccup with the car that Jaime Moore immediately got involved with. Another hiccup arose that Jaime quickly addressed to my satisfaction. The car was delivered via enclosed trailer with a very conscientious driver whom handled my car with great care, which I really appreciate. I've owned over 200 cars including some pretty exotic machinery so when it comes to the process and service I'm no newcomer, however this was our first Rolls Royce, and appreciate the way we were treated throughout the process. I had sought out a particular Ferrari and finally found one of interest; the problem was, it was over 500 miles away in Southern California (I live in Northern California). However, even if the vehicle was in the area, I would still need to perform some type of due diligence in order to assure I was purchasing a sound/functional vehicle. That said, I found Ferrari of Rancho Mirage only 20 minutes away from where the vehicle resided and made an appointment for a Pre-Purchase Inspection (cost $740). Days later, I was contacted by the Service Manager/Jenna Cascio and told the vehicle was in good condition, although it still needed some suspension work and to replace a few leaking seals. With this endorsement in hand, I purchased the Ferrari and had it shipped to Northern California. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed the following: * No AC * No headlights * Windshield wipers inoperable * Antenna won't retract * Parking brake won't hold * Tachometer won't go above 2,000 * Windows require manual intervention to operate * Each door lock is keyed differently and neither works with the keys * Erratic Idle/RPM * Rear shocks leaking * Fuel leaks * Oil leaking from bell housing/main seal For those of you not familiar with cars, most of these items (some safety-related) would have been easy to identify by either pushing some buttons in the driver's compartment or readily visible with the vehicle up on a car lift). THE TOTAL COST OF RECTIFYING THESE ISSUES HAS RESULTED IN A REPAIR BILL EXCEEDING $30,000! Of course, I was less than pleased and contacted the Ferrari of Rancho Mirage. While they were willing to refund my $740, they were totally unwilling to accept any responsibility for their obvious mechanical oversights...essentially just patting me on the head and hoping I would just go away! Well, $30,000 is a huge chunk of change and I wasn't willing to go away quietly. I contacted the Customer Care Manager and Customer Service Department for Ferrari and both told me the COO of Ferrari of Rancho Mirage/LAPIS - Mark Venti would be my main contact for resolving this issue. However, after numerous attempts to contact Mr Venti to resolve this issue, my communiques (email, as well as certified mail) has fallen on deaf ears - NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. While it took every fiber of my being while writing this, I have refrained from utilizing 4-letter expletives to portray my displeasure, although a $30,000+ bill to cover their mistakes is pretty close to a living hell. In short, BEWARE of Ferrari of Rancho Mirage and the LAPIS Dealership Group, as they do not have your back! I would highly recommend you seek out alternatives to a LAPIS Dealership including Ferrari of Rancho Mirage!
