I dropped it off on Tuesday and didn't get much communication. Called to get a status and I had to talk to a machine because this dealership won't even spring for a receptionist. I'm giving four stars because after the conversation, the communication dramatically improved and I picked my vehicle up the next day. I'm not sure I can pin the delays on the service writer because I know vehicles can get stuck in never never land in the shop. Jesse finished the race properly and I commend him for that. He doesn't have an easy job. I definitely recommend getting rid of the AI receptionist. I definitely recommend having a small loaner fleet for the customers that drive your 60+ thousand dollar vehicles. It's not like GMC is not compensating the dealership for loaners. Nobody wants to drive to a rental car company in an Uber and fill out a bunch of paperwork for an overnight loaner. It might be convenient for the dealership, but it's not convenient for the customer. I definitely recommend getting some type of auto update texting app that other dealerships have, that makes you aware of the repair process at each stage. I do not recommend making customers bringing brand new vehicles in for warranty work sign an estimated cost of repairs. It made me uncomfortable, and I can't be the only one. I recommend that you don't offer people discounts on the GMC app when they schedule their appointments, and then make them fill out a bunch of paperwork to receive these discounts via a prepaid debit card... you don't do that when you're selling new trucks with rebates. your team is only as good as their leader. People hate gimmicks, and people hate being nickel and dimed. I think a few of these problems are coming from the top not from your service writers. I have a supreme respect for people that shoot me straight with no nonsense. I would encourage your dealership to reevaluate the way you process the service department experience. We declined, only the oil change this time. When it came time to pay we were notified there would be an additional fee if credit card was used. This is not posted anywhere and we were not informed prior to the service performed. It felt a bit deceptive. We covered our service in cash but if you had an extensive service, this could be a huge surprise. Please do your customers and your service associates a favor and post there are additional fees for making purchases with a credit card.

I came in unexpectedly on a Friday afternoon and didn't plan on seeing my car until Monday but they found the 12 volt battery that goes with my hybrid and installed it while also checking for recalls. This was my first time working with them on this new used Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. Unlike the La Quinta Hyundai service team, I felt I could trust the care and service recommended by the Palm Springs team. I cannot more highly recommend the dealership and will come back here to by my next Sonata.

These guys are careless and negligent and will gaslight, lie, and rip you off any chance that they get. Also, on my final visit the service manager, George, had another employee in his office with her shoes off and bare feet on the furniture which is just poor hygiene and gross. When I first visited the dealership, I was assured the vehicle had been well maintained by the previous owner, who supposedly serviced it regularly and traded it in for a Porsche due to retirement. The car drove beautifully, and my sales representative, Sherman Sims, was very kind, helpful, and made the buying process feel comfortable. However, there were important issues that were not properly disclosed. At the time of purchase, I noticed a light on the dashboard but was told by the general manager that it was simply due to a setting that could be adjusted. I later learned this may actually be related to a battery issue. In addition, there was visible damage to the infotainment screen that I was not made aware of prior to purchase. I will be including photos in this review. This is not something I would expect on a vehicle presented as being in great condition. I also paid a significant amount for add-ons, including StarGard and ClearShield, which I was not comfortable with but agreed to because I believed I was purchasing a high-quality, well-maintained vehicle. The very next day after purchasing the car, I noticed the screen issue and had my husband call the dealership. We were told the vehicle was sold "as-is" and that we would be responsible for any repairs. I returned to the dealership in person to try to resolve the issue. After spending hours waiting, I was told they would coordinate with a Jeep dealership and follow up with me. That follow-up never happened. To address the issues myself, I scheduled an appointment with a Jeep dealership, where I was informed that both batteries were bad. Porsche did ultimately replace the batteries, which I appreciate. However, regarding the infotainment screen, Jeep advised that they could not determine the cause without a full diagnostic and that it may require replacement. They did not confirm that the issue was sun damage. When I brought this information back to Porsche Palm Springs, the general manager, Mike Anchondo, stated there was nothing he could do and maintained that the damage was cosmetic. He also claimed that Jeep had diagnosed it as sun damage. This directly contradicted what I was told by Jeep, who even put in writing that a proper diagnostic is required to determine the cause. When I attempted to discuss this discrepancy, Mike Anchondo was dismissive, argumentative, and rude. I was told that "all cars have issues" and that it was my responsibility for not noticing the problem prior to purchase. This response was extremely disappointing. I am not disputing that used cars can have issues, but this was a visible condition present immediately after purchase that was not disclosed, and I made a good faith effort to resolve it through the dealership. Instead of working toward a reasonable solution, I was met with conflicting information, lack of accountability, and poor customer service. While the initial buying experience was positive, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and dismissive treatment after the sale has been extremely disappointing. I expected a much higher level of integrity and customer care from a dealership representing the Porsche brand. I would have preferred to resolve this directly with the dealership, but unfortunately that opportunity was not taken. At this point, I am simply asking for accountability, clear communication, and a fair resolution to issues that were present immediately after purchase and were not disclosed.

So since I'm not pulling my horse trailer any longer, I decided to go back to stock and they removed the broken system. Now she's riding better than ever!!! With my truck at over 10 years old, I have correctly put my trust in Shaun and the Jessup family. He looked me in the eye and clearly stated, "This car is yours," and assured me multiple times that it would NOT be sold to anyone else. Based on his word, I stepped out briefly for lunch with my family, fully intending to return immediately to complete the purchase. After spending over SIX HOURS at this dealership and driving all the way from San Diego, I came back ready to finalize payment--only to be told the vehicle had been sold to someone else. This was not a misunderstanding. This was a complete failure to honor a confirmed agreement. What made the situation even worse was David's behavior afterward--he attempted to deflect responsibility, created unnecessary drama, and made misleading statements in front of his team instead of owning his actions. This shows a serious lack of professionalism, integrity, and basic respect for customers. A dealership that operates like this cannot be trusted. If their word means nothing, then neither does their business. Be extremely cautious when dealing with this place. Do NOT rely on verbal commitments, no matter how confident they sound. I lost an entire day, wasted hours of my time, and was treated with zero respect after a confirmed deal. This is not how a reputable dealership should conduct business.
