Worst service I have ever received. My car recently showed a check engine light and so i decided to head to the closest mechanic shop, being lambs auto center. Knowing that autozone, pepboys and other mechanic shops iv been do it for free. So I ask for a reading says yes to it, has me go through a procedure check which is understanble. I ask the mechanic has he writes down code and says that he can release it, that i must wait till they would tell me. So mechanic finishes and hands paper to seems the owner older korean indifuvudal. He tells me the problem, makes phone calls and tells me how much. Fine, I inquire about other services, radiator flush, transmission oil change, power steering, and fuel injection cleaning. He quotes me prices and i finally ask him for the code number to write down. Hes tone completely changes and becomes animated that NO I CANT HAVE THE CODE. I say excuse me why not, hes response in higher tone NO YOU CANNOT YOU WANT REPAIR. I let him know that autozone and pepboys do this service for free, also that in my experience with other shops they gladly give it to me written down with a quoted price to last for set amount of days. Hes response after this is an animated and enraged one THEN GO THERE NO CODE FOR YOU LEAVE all while his body language his confrontational and approaching me. Felt like he was bullying me for sale and then to leave his shop when i ask for a simple request. Really i just asked about over 500 dollar in repair and service. He would get loud and belligerent and aggressive. Do not go not only is the language barrier bad but the service is even worse all aggression. I have read reviews on google and yelp. Gave him benefit of the doubt be he lived up to this. Please utilize all reviews and help suffer his business so that we can have a buyout and bring in a competent mechanic. read more

Took my car here a couple of months ago (kept forgetting to leave a review). Went during weekday morning. Was able to get smog test/oil change right away. Told me it would be 20 minutes so I went across the street to shop at the market. Went back in exactly 20 minutes and it was done! Staff was fast and reliable, definitely recommend! Also, there were quite a few people there during the morning for other services, so you know this place is reliable. The owner of this place is so unprofessional. I picked up my car just to find out that my taillight had a crack. I politely asked if they knew what happened since my taillight wasn't broken when I left the car to get an alignment. He started screaming at me and yield at me to leave his shop, but what really bother me was that he was also yelling at his employee just cause the employee started talking to me in Spanish. I honestly don't recommend anybody to go to this shop. Since they don't treat customers and employees with respect!!! read more

I have been a customer for about 3 yrs. Took my car to replace the break pads today. Saw the mechanic driving my car out for testing after replacing the pads. After about 15 mins and he still hasn't return so I asked the owner what's going on. The Owner called and informed me there was some traffic per mechanic. After about 25 mins, Mechanic returned and I saw he carried a package out from my car. At that point I was very upset realizing he was using my car to do his personal shopping. I told the owner and the mechanic off but they kept denying it. Use them as your own risk. I for one will never use them again. read more

Too bad I cannot give this place 0 stars or else that would be my first choice. Not only is there a language barrier between the customer and the mechanic (unless you are Korean), but they failed to fix the problem...repeatedly. I do not know how many times I brought my car here for an oil leak, yet my car still leaked. Every time I left this place, I was always 200 bucks poorer. When I confronted them about it, they would just give me the run around or just shrug. Lack of english enables people to just grunt like cavemen. I guess Rowland Heights has a lot of people willing to flush their money down the toilet because this place is always packed. Glutton for punishment, I guess. ***If you want a better alternative, go visit Sam at Intell Auto on San Jose Ave. Yes, it is a little bit more of a drive on the other side of the 60, but you will be sacrificing hard-earned money and valuable time if you keep coming back to Lamb's. Sam is very reliable and provides an honest service; he will guide you through what needs to be fixed first before fixing it. Sam will not fix your car and then spring a 500 dollar bill on you like Lamb's would. Word to the wise. read more

I'm actually surprised at some people's comments. Wondering if they expect a 1st generation korean mechanic to be all fluff. Let's be frank. That's not what you're going to get. You will get a rugged man who will bluntly tell u what u need and not beg for your service. He is a kind and honest man and if he is telling u that u need to fix something, it's probably cuz u need to. He's told us several times to hold off on certain services and saved us tons of money. He's turned off our check engine light for us because he would check and see that things were ok. If he's not turning it off for people who need to get something fixed...I get that. Why would he? My parents have been going here for as long as I remember and now we,as kids, have been bringing our family and friends here as well. I'm figuring they had some miscommunication or that broken English causes people to sound more rude than they are trying to be. Also looking at their rating, I imagine that if all the people who have been using him for years and years were to care to be yelpers, they'd have some serious high ratings. I just looked him up on yelp to get his number and was shocked at his ratings and things people had to say about him. But here to say, forget those bad yelps, this is a good, honest mechanic with great prices. But I imagine he doesn't even care who yelps what. Haha. Harry has been my mom's mechanic for years and she never had any problems with him. When I go visit her, i get my oil changed here. They always did a great job on diagnosing and fixing both of our cars. Recently I had a tune-up and some radiator issue fixed at a very reasonable price. read more

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE They make your car LOOKS LIKE it's repaired when it's NOT actually repaired My car's brake rotor was broken so I needed it replaced I left the car with them since it was the closest body shop available. They charged me for new rotors price was cheap, so I was just happy Few days later, my brake started making horrible noises so I took it to the dealer this time and When they took out the wheel My broken rotor was still there but the crack was sealed which made it seemed like it was replaced which is not even a proper way to fix a rotor I checked my invoice again, and they did charge me for new rotor I am actually preparing a proper complaint and possible law suit against them meanwhile, please avoid this place if possible read more

Dear Karma, Please do what you do best to the owner of Lambs Auto Center. I had my car towed here from the the 60 freeway as it was the nearest auto repair shop to my home. A bigger mistake than me repeatedly driving a few miles then stopping for the radiator to cool down until the alternator was affected and the engine wouldn't turn-over! I explained what happened and filled out and signed their form for an inspection. I was mistakenly under the impression that until they give me a quote this wasn't going to cost me anything. They push my car near their garage. Open the radiator cap and filled it with plain water. Then they turn-over the engine. There she blows! The morons didn't recap the radiator! They refilled (just water) it and recapped it this time. I ask them about the alternator's condition. They hooked up a dirty, out dated battery/ alternator checker. Faulty was the result. Well duh. I asked they how much the repairs will cost. I was quoted that they weren't sure what the problem/s was and they'd need to do thorough diagnostics and I was looking maybe over $2000!!! I said forget it and that I'll have to think about it (sell as junk or donate as-is). That's when things got nasty. I was presented the invoice to sign along with $65 duell! WTF $65 for less than 10 minutes of them pouring tap water (twice) into my radiator and testing my alternator. I tried to reason with the owner of how unfair that charge was. His response was that's their hourly labor rate as posted on their wall. I retorted that I'd be willing to pay the pro rated hour or ~10 minutes thus $10. He wouldn't budge. I conceded by paying thinking as long as I used a credit card I could later dispute most of the charge. Unfortunately my card issuer sided with the shop as I signed the invoice. Well duh like I'd let them keep my car and charge me for towing and storage... Even the mechanic told me he hated what happened to me and others and that it was another bad thing that made him start finding a better place to work. read more

Lambs Auto are rude, dishonest crooks. Sure they have to make a living but if you value your hard earned money then go elsewhere. I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change to find that my calipers and brake rotors are bad. I proceeded to question the Korean owner with glasses and he starts to get offensive and said to me in a very nasty tone. "Do you want to fix or not!" Well I said no and got a second opinion from a trusted friend who has been working on cars for many years but is now retired and said brakes and rotors is practically new. read more

I needed a place to take my 98 BMW 3 SERIES to get my radiator replaced. I searched for a couple of places and found a place that charged $150 (radiator fluid not included) and another place for $120 (radiator fluid included) but this one was in between at $130 (closer to my location) so I guess that's okay. I ended up paying about $155 because they charged me $20 for radiator fluid and also $5 bucks for special radiator screw that they couldn't find which was near the windshield wipers (i found it later on). I would bring my car back here for repairs in the future. Thanks. read more

dont go here. if you read the reviews, there is a reason why they are rated so low. my family had three terrible experiences here. my mom took her sienna here to get it fixed and they "forgot" to completely close caps and finish the job. they didn't even fix the problem. also i saw that something was leaking from my car and took it to the nissan dealer services and found out that lambs auto didn't close my engine oil cap when i went in for a quick oil change and so it was leaking the whole time. i took all results from the nissan services and my receipt from a month before and went to get my money back. well, they had no excuse. but what we are so upset and angry about is that they claim bmws and german cars need oil changes from month to month...! yeah, thats what their excuse is for the check up light that came on on our bmw only after a month since our oil change. we went back and they filled it back up and now our car shows that there is too much. we went back again and they said they poured the whole bottle because we said theres no oil. that proves that they didn't even check what was wrong and they are incapable of fixing cars! read more
