The slightly higher price (about $4.00) more than Im use to was the price of great customer service. Now many bad experiences from several nail salons later, I will be returning ASAP! Do not go here! I had a really bad experience here. I had been for a pedicure before, and a basic manicure with gel. The ladies were nice, so I decided to get my acrylic french tip nails done here for my wedding. BIG MISTAKE!!! I had them done a few hours before my rehearsal & rehearsal dinner, the day before my wedding (FYI: get them done 2-3 days before just incase they get screwed up like mine did!) A guy did them, which should have been a sign. Not sure if he was licensed or whatever. I noticed as he was getting towards the end, the part that should look clear was looking a little cloudy. He said he would buff it out and and would look different when it was done. When my sister and I left and walked outside, the clear part was appearing cloudier and cloudier, until the whole nail basically looked white! I was freaking out!!! The worst part is my Mom, sister, Aunt and cousin (who traveled from Maine!) also had their nails done there. Luckly, they all had painted on french tips, which also didn't look great...But that's another story. By the time I got to rehearsal, which was about an hour away, the nails looked so bad I wanted to cry. The worst part was, I knew by the time I was back from dinner, they would be closed, so they would never see in person what a horrible job they did. I stayed up the night before my wedding soaking my jacked up nails in acetone until 2am, trying to remove them myself, which by the way is near impossible to do the same they they were applied! I had to have them re-done the next morning at a nail place closer to my venue, which was painful, but they did them the right way and they looked great in time for pictures. Lamour Nails caused me extra stress and pain that I did not need or want on my big day. I went back after my honeymoon and showed them pics, and I got a gift certificate and a pathetic "sorry". Like I would ever go back! Not sure if they used old products or wrong technique, but I trusted they could do a basic french tip...come on! read more

This salon is completely under new owners as of May 2012. I heard the former owner and staff were not good, but decided to give the new folks a try. So glad I did! (Note to Jennifer R: there are no men who work here and a Senior Center across the street, so you must have reviewed the wrong salon.) Katie, Wendy, and Amy are very kind and really care about service. They took time to make sure I was completely satisfied with their handiwork, even though I used a Groupon. The regular price for a mani/pedi including a hot stone leg massage is only $30. I only get a mani/pedi every couple of months, but Lamour is my new go-to salon! read more

I literally am sitting here making a yelp account to tell u how horrible this place is. First I walk in at 4:55 for my 5 pm appt and don't get seen till 6 I was polite and didn't really mind it was New Year's Eve so bound to be busy, but than it got worse it was absolutely freezing inside I shivered the whole time. When I finally got seen she said she could do nail art but ended up just ruining it and complaining I was making her take too long cuz I told her it wasn't wat I wanted. They also DO NOT USE NEW BOARDS OR TOOLS FOR EACH PERSON THEY DON'T EVEN CLEAN THEM BETWEEN PEOPLE! Worse nail experience ever never going back. Also she had a sample of gold rhinestones tip yet had no gold rhinestones and even did a messy job painting them plain. read more

Wonderful new nail salon in Willow Glen. Saw the banner announcing a grand opening and decided to try it, as I was still looking for "the" go to place for nails near my home. I think I've found it! Ann was gracious, the services were great, the atmosphere is very serene and un noisy (at least on a Sunday afternoon). If you want great service, a wonderful leg massage and a peaceful atmosphere, this is the place. If you are looking for wall to wall tv, this is not your place; the background music was a local soft-rock station. Try this experience, and I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

I purchased the Groupon for this place for three visits though I had never been here before, the price was just too good to pass up. Their customer service is top notch and I couldn't have been any happier with them. This is the worst nail salon I've ever been to! They managed to paint my toe nails and then mess them up not only once but three times! Then, when I got a shellac manicure for my fingers, they did a horrible job with an uneven coat and ripped part of my cuticle off causing me to bleed. read more

Amazing customer service and great prices! The ladies here really try to take care of their clients, taking their time to ensure every detail is correct. I have nails that chip easily, and the owner made sure to do many gel layers to seal my tips. She told me that I can come back to take the gel off free of charge! The ladies are so nice. We were tight on time to get my daughter's nails and toes done for prom. They were able to squeeze her in right away in between helping other customers. I've hit the gel MANICURE JACKPOT!!! I was lucky enough to find Ann through my daughter's boss. My daughter started going to her first then I started around May this year. She's a pro at shaping and at applying color. I always make an appointment for Saturday (bc of work it's the only day I can get there). Even though there are salons within walking distance of my home, I'm more than willing to drive the 25 minutes it takes each way just to get to this salon (with no traffic). Ann is efficient and listens to my requests. I'm extremely happy with her service every time I've gotten a manicure with her. read more

I did the facial massage and eyeslash extention with the Stephanie. She treat to me very nice and kind. Stephanie takes time to treat my face and extra care for me. She doesn't charge much compared to the other facial places. I am highly recommending to go to Stephanie. She is awesome!! read more

I really enjoy coming here to get gel manicures. The gel lasts a long time. The gel I have now is 4 weeks old and hasn't chipped at all. I think I paid $25....? They get busy during the week in the late afternoon/evening. Best to call ahead of time instead of just walking in. Only complaint is the lotion they use doesn't smell very good and they don't massage your arms for very long at all. read more

Just went in to get a pedicure with my mum, BEST pedicure I've ever had (and I have had A LOT of pedicures). It was my first time here, but my mom has been to this salon quite a few times. We opted for the wax and hot stone service and again I can't stress enough the service from start to finish was amazing I've never felt so comfortable and pleased with the results at a nail salon. Friendly staff, decent amount of shellac polishes available & regular polishes. All the ladies ive seen take their time and care. When ive asked for adjustments they never have a problem. The only down side is the parking. There isn't enough parking spaces available & the side street is residential so it can be difficult to find a parking but besides that a great experience. read more

Katie and Wendy are so sweet and accommodating ever time I've been in! They'll let me sit and relax for nearly two hours while they do a mani-pedi. I've been to multiple nail salons and am spoiled by experiences here. They are meticulous while doing your nails and never pressure you into extra services/charges such as waxing, designs, etc. as other salons have done. Their prices are extremely reasonable- $25 for shellac nails and $20 for a pedicure. They also do the hot rock treatments, oil, warm lotion, and a long massage. The women who work here are really nice, and they always do a great job with pedicures. They take their time with the entire process, and I never feel like they're trying to rush me out of there. The downside to this is that they're often running late; definitely not the place to go if you're in a hurry. Even with a reservation, I usually have to wait 15-30 minutes for a chair.
