My husband and I purchased a used 2007 LR3 last year, from the "other" Land Rover dealer in the metro area. Frankly, the vehicle has been a nightmare, but nothing compared to dealing with the AWFUL service people at the "other" Land Rover dealer. We recently moved to the north area, and having MORE problems with our LR3 we decided to give Land Rover Flatirons a chance, before we ditched the nightmare vehicle. SOOOOO glad we did! Paul and David in service were AWESOME! They were so friendly, fun and easy to talk with. Paul was my service advisor and he was direct, provided useful information, and didn't give me a run around on the price of the repair. I was in and out quick both when I dropped off my LR3 and when I returned to pick it up. While I wasn't thrilled to pay another $1300 in repairs (who would be?), I can say that our LR3 has never driven better. So I should give major props to the guys in the garage that actually fixed my LR3, the right way, the first time. Thank you for not giving us a run around. I have driven a Range Rover sport for over five years now. The service department here and the way Land Rover Flatirons does business is unfortunately not at par with what you would expect from a luxury car dealership. Just had a full maintenance service and now shortly after my engine light is on. I call for someone to look at this, thinking they would get me in sooner since I was just there, and the next available is a month out. If I want a rental car, thou, it's mid December, almost 2 months out... Since when does a luxury dealership not arrange for a rental car for you in today's world where people rely on their vehicles for their day to day responsibilities? A person shouldn't have to wait 2 months for them to supply a rental car. From previous experiences, I had my brakes fixed by them, and still sound like a school bus going down the road. Every maintenance visit comes with a large bill, but different from other luxury car brands that include service visits when you invest in their brand, it feels they just nickel and dime you with every visit. The only thing positive I can say about this dealership, is Brian the service manager has helped me to navigate the continued issues I have with them. He is an asset to the dealership, but the issues I have go to whoever is above his control. I really wanted to love Land Rover. Their suv is appealing, but their service is more headache and hard on the pocket. With so many other choices, invest in a company that takes care of you when you buy their vehicle. No more land rovers for me. read more

I live in Cheyenne Wyoming which is two hours away and scheduled with them to get my broken sun roof fixed. They scheduled me out a month in advance since it was the first time they would have a loaner vehicle. I had double checked the schedule with Shay C, but upon arrival to drop off the vehicle the female employee who was helping me said the part wasn't in and I'd have to come back another day. I had just drove two hours one way to make an appointment And with no remorse they tell me to come back. What kind of customer service is that? I proceeded to pay 1,300 dollars for the part even though I had an insurance claim started then they sent me back on my way saying they will call me when it's in. Three weeks have passed and no word. I would like to get this fixed ASAP and I would like management to reach out to me so I can share my experiences with them. I definitely don't recommend flatirons to anyone. read more

Having been a land rover owner since I was 16, I am well versed in land rover dealerships. My first land rovers were from LR Houston and I was happy with the purchase and service process, but my expectations were exceeded after dealing with Land Rover Flatirons. They are very helpful over the phone (as I live about an hour away from the dealership) and so quick to get me in and out when I do bring in my vehicle for service. Randy and entire service team are so helpful about telling you about the problem, possible problems you may experience and preventative maintenance. I've never felt as if I were being "up-sold" or told to purchase something I didn't need. I recommend land rover flatirons not only for service, but vehicle purchase too. On my last service trip, I discovered I was going to need more work than anticipated (my truck had just hit 160K miles). To my luck there was a new, fairly priced range rover that was a good match for me and I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER with the trade in process. Land Rover Flatirons gave me a more than fair offer on my trade in. All in all, it was a great experience and I would send any friend or family member there. read more

I have nothing nice to say about this dealership... I purchased a new car from them in September.. I did all that was asked of me as far as getting the money wired for payment and the additional information they needed to get the deal done... It was all done within one day.. So when I went to pick up my car the salesman Tanner, stated the extra key and swag was in a bag in the back seat.. Thank goodness my partner checked, and there was NO key in the bag.. I feel a person would remember placing key in a bag especially since that customer just gave you a paycheck!!!! So, first mistruth.... He quickly stated he would get with his sales manager and get me the second key... He asked that I text him for followup.. SO I did... All i ever got back was a bull shi* response that his manager was not available or he was " working " on it... SO here we are in December, and I still have no second key.. only text messages........ I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy .. I made the stupid assumption that a woman would get fair treatment a Land Rover dealership... This is unfortunately not the case at Land Rover FlatIrons... Drive the extra distance if this is the brand you are buying... I only wish I would have driven to Denver to purchase my new car..... The waiting area was very relaxing while sitting in nice leather chairs and couches with coffee, soda, water, and snacks available. Where to start. First off I am not a complainer, I have never rated a company online good nor poorly. I created a yelp account to just to share how poor of service flatirons land Rover, and land Rover Las Vegas truly have. I am successful enough to properly care for a lanrover. With higher and often expected labor costs, communication should be overdelivered. I came in with a private party customer to potentially purchase a vehicle after its oil change and pre purchase inspection- assuming the Land Rover was in good or great overall mechanical conditions (not expecting a new car). Chris Jarrach was "helping" me. While waiting for the inspection results, I was assured there was a pretty purchase inspection; informing him of Colorado to California commute in a few days. He informed me that everything was great, except for thermostat housing, and it's road trip ready. Everything on the checklist indicated green (good) measures otherwise. I fixed the housing of course, letting him know I will fix anything recommended. The Lr3 did have a small winding noise, which the previous owner relayed during another inspection and it said "tech can't duplicate noise". Sure enough this sound happened frequently for me and Chris said: "I wouldn't worry about it"! A day later on my moving adventure on i70 west, the front brakes started grinding terribly echoing off of mountains (yes that loud) ( and yes, they were checked off as "GOOD")...NEXT, the high winding noise upon letting off the gas would put a loud vibrational thumping under the pedal, which became constant. A few hours close to California upon full stops, a terrible dropping noise near the axle would emerge - this all became constant. I brought the Lr3 into Las Vegas land Rover because Chris said they're close and can help. I was assisted by John Clough (service manager) who said "it's not our fault" it's flat irons land rovers fault. SO WAIT, A company this large has locations which don't vouch for eachother, but warranties apply at each shop simultaneously. Proceeding, I had John come on a ride along and he said the brakes sound bad, almost metal to metal or fully metal to metal...he said " it's normal to have squeeking brakes that can't be fixed because it can be from so many angles or variables. Next he said the other noises sounded alarming as well, but couldn't guess what the problem could be. Afterward he said he will call the other location because he can't do anything about it. I asked how long it would be to hear something from flatiron management and he said it could be a few days". Prior to this John looked up the Vin and said a pre purchase inspection was never done! It was a short overlook from a routine maintenance oil change...wow! Keep in mind Chris at flatirons had me under the impression this was a full pre purchase inspection, but regardless green check marks were put everywhere on the car, and a tech even drove it while it was making the noises... So after reaching Chris's service manager at flatirons he informed John that nothing can be done about the situation. In a nutshell the worst part of the experience was John at Las Vegas land Rover telling me that brake inspections can show perfect, but still be in need of immediate replacement. What a joke. No follow up. Nothing. And a master tech can't hear these noises when driving but a service manager can? Ha! Then telling a guy who can't drive his new car to wait a couple of days???? For a phone call??? I will edit this to update Chris's managers name so people are aware of who they're dealing with read more

Worst service. Worst customer care. Bought an Audi from them exactly 1 year ago. Less than a year later my tires are shredded and they are unwilling to do anything about it. However, that's not the worst of it. When speaking to Mark (the used car manager) about my concerns, I received nothing but complete disrespect. I was yelled at by Mark, told I was "crazy for thinking they would do such a thing." I am completely and utterly blown away by how I was spoken to- I was his Customer. Not to mention, when I bought my car, he knew NOTHING about Audi. When I reminded him of this on our phone call he said "98% of our customers come in knowing more about the car than we do because of their own internet searches." If a simple Internet search makes me more knowledgeable than you... I'm seriously concerned. I would NEVER purchase a car from this dealership again. Worst customer care I have experienced. Oh, and when I politely said I do not appreciate how you are speaking to me and wished him a good day... He hung up on me. Nice, huh? Update: Since this post, I took my audi into the audi dealership in Littleton as I had received a letter in the mail stating there had been a recall on a certain part of my car. When I asked Mark about this recall (I was clearly a little nervous about it) he stated he knew nothing about it. He continued by saying that so many cars get recalled he can't possibly keep track of them. So I thought to myself, ok, makes sense I guess. However, 2 days later when I take my car to the amazing guys at Audi in Littleton.... All the other customers in the service shop tolde they had received personal phone calls from the dealerships that had sold them their car. You would think Landrover Flatirons would put something in place to ensure they received notifications about recalls and then notify their customers... But like many other reviews have said, they are there simply to make a sale then once that happens, you're on your own. read more

This review is for the service department only (not sales). I bought a brand new Range Rover less than a year ago and it's been in the shop several times (five, I think). The first time, they somehow very badly scratched the rear quarter panel and did not tell us. It took them two visits to repair it. The passenger side window does not roll up and down properly and is needing a third visit to the shop to be fixed. The car is an EV and, when charging, it sounds like a jet engine. The back seat recliners only work intermittently. The main display screen does not work occasionally. All of these things, and more, have been addressed by the service department by doing "software updates." They keep assuring me that's all the car needs but I keep having issues. As if it's not frustrating enough to have a new car not work flawlessly, the service department is completely unapologetic and unresponsive. They have forgotten to come pick up my car on a scheduled service day, they took two weeks and four phone calls (seriously) to get me on the schedule this last time and they can't seem to fix the car's issues. I keep going back because the next closest dealership is 1.5 hours away from my home, but if you have a choice, don't go here! read more

Twice I heard the word "fifteen" from a different service specialist for a rear view sensor quote. There is a big difference between the word "fifteen" and the words "fifteen hundred dollars". I recently purchased a certified 2016 XF, from Bill Jacobs Jaguar Landrover in Hinsdale, IL and had it shipped to Colorado. I only had the car a month or so when the left rear tire blew out ($300). It was identified as a cracked RIM. When I went to have it repaired the 3rd party repair shop said the wheel was bent in 2 places and the crack was previously welded to the point it has compromised the integrity of the wheel and he cannot fix it because he cannot stand by it. When I let Peter Murray from the dealership know this he said he would look into this. After a few calls back and forth including a call from the GM of my local Colorado Jaguar dealership agreeing they sold me a car with a bent wheel, Peter told me his GM, Pat McGowan believes, I damaged the wheel and he would not stand by the certification. I asked him to have Pat please call me. A week has gone by and no one has called. I do not recommend this dealership. Ed Dobbs and the Jaguar LandRover Flatirons dealership in Broomfield, CO agreed to cover the cost of the new wheel I purchased ($1k) even though I did not buy the car from them. Ed is a stand up guy and did the right thing even though it was not his problem. Thanks Ed. I just wish I purchased the car from you in the first place. read more

I brought my LR4 in for a diagnostic report. I was mislead that the co-pay would be $50.00. The cost was over $350.00. The estimate was over $2,500.00 for the repairs. I've been out of work for almost a year so cannot afford to have my oil changed for $500.00! The issues continued from there- I was on the highway when another warning light illuminated. The hood was not closed! My husband was looking under the hood a few days later and none of the coverings were clipped back on, they were haphazardly placed on top, loose. So, would like to say I paid $350.00 for a car wash but it was too cold for that. (Which I understand they're not responsible for the weather- but their technicians need to make sure they zip things up when they're done with it and their representatives need to be clear that our extended warranty doesn't really cover anything. I guess the good news in all of this, is your business will continue to succeed while the country suffers during a pandemic since you gouge your pricing. read more

First stop was at Flatiron Land Rover on 8/12/2017 at 1pm. My wife who is a Physician rarely has time and loathes going to dealerships in the first place. We were all set once she decided which of top 3 choices of vehicles she wanted to test drive before making her decision. We parked by the front door and walked around outside looking at suvs for 15mins before going inside. When we entered nobody greeted us and we proceeded to look around and open doors of the Range Rover, sit in it going from the front seat to back seat. Anyways we might have spent 20mins checking it out and still not a single wave, hello, smile, welcome or the "how can I help you". You should especially never have to look for help when you're spending 100k+. Seriously Flatirons, you failed and when we made our next stop over to Westminster Mercedes we were immediately greeted with smiles as we entered and greeted by name. Granted I have bought a couple of 63s AMG, etc. cars in the last 2yrs., but boy did Flatirons fail to impress my wife who loves the Range Rover SC and was looking forward to driving it. I should have just driven up to Glenwood SpringsLand Rover where we were treated like royalty the first and last time I bought from them and they had no idea if we were poor or rich as we were dirty from playing on the trails and rolled out with a new SUV. Lesson learned. Don't bother going to Flatirons. Glenwood Springs Land Rover is worth the drive. I was really hoping to buy from Flatirons since I live in Louisville. read more

My car wouldn't start while working in Boulder and had it towed to this location. First of all, I was having to call them constantly to figure out what was going on and hardly ever got through to an actual person. It was literally a full week of phone tag and very frustrating. Instead, they send you a text message with a link that takes you to a list, telling you in very generic terms what was wrong with the car. For example, a bulb was out and it wants you to 'approve' the replacement (and price) but the rest of the info is just one size fits all. When I called to get more info on each item, my contact Brian was never available. There were so many excuses on being busy and they were short staffed but It took them 2 days just to do a diagnostic. You would think with new tech they would be more efficient, but it was the opposite. So, you are sent this text and you are supposed to check the box with the total and when you 'approve' it, they will then start the work. Since I could never get through to them and ask specific questions about my specific vehicle, I gave up and just 'approved' the bare minimum so I could just take it to CoSpgs Landrover (they are AMESOME. Different owners. Go there instead). The other thing I did not like about the text was you were given a solid price with no breakdown (I.e. Labor/parts prices). When I came to get my car, and had questions, no one was there who had originally worked On my car. The guy who gave me my keys back literally just read off the paperwork on what was done, he admited he didn't know anything about my car and to call Brian again. No thanks. I can read the paperwork myself and I was done playing phone tag with Brian from the service dept. The man who gave me my keys back tried to get us to join their grocery store-type keychain point system thing to earn points and prizes. I mean, he really pushed it even saying I should put it on the key ring even if i don't use it in case I lose my keys, they will be mailed back to the dealership. I would rather make more keys than have to come back to this place. Finally, upon checking out and paying, the front desk woman asked me how many months along I was, was I having a boy/girl, she thought I was pregnant. Im not. Im 5ft 115 pounds. It was very awkward and weird. I will stick with the Land Rover dealership in Colorado Springs. They actually took the time to go over everything with me and helped me understand what was more important to fix now as opposed to later and just made me so comfortable. I believe there is even an cost difference with flat iron seeming very high compared to Cospgs. Stay away if you can help it. read more

Every time I bring my car in for service Paul has taken the time to go over every issue for which I brought the car in for service. He's explained (if known ahead of time) what would be involved in performing the requested services as well as how much they would cost. He calls over the course of the service to keep me informed as to the progress on the vehicle and lets me know if anything additional was found that was a concern (and whether or not it would cost extra, and if so, how much). When getting my vehicle back Paul goes over the entire set of paperwork as to the work performed and the cost involved. If there are any discrepancies in the cost, he has taken the extraordinary step of adjusting the prices (lower) based on our discussions. I call this "doing the right thing to make sure the customer is completely satisfied. Paul is very approachable and makes me feel like I am the most important customer the company has. His knowledge of the vehicles and his brilliant art work allows him to sketch or explain any issue I've had or that could arise as a result of my questions. And above all, he thanks me for bringing my car in to the dealership for service. Land Rover Flatirons has a free vehicle loaner program as well so I don't have to rely on finding alternative transportation. I'm only asked that I return the vehicle with the same amount of gas in the tank. This allows me to experience other LR vehicles that I do not own and might not ever even test drive. Additionally, when getting my vehicle back it is always cleaner than when I dropped it off. read more

While visiting Colorado from 500 miles away my '06 LR3 suddenly developed a loud front end noise.
