20/20 did our front yard landscape in December of 2020. They did a nice, professional job. I had a couple of plants that died and notified them in May of 2021. After several calls, they finally contacted me in August and replaced the two dead plants. One of the plants they replaced died and one of our other plants also was dying. I notified them the end of October and again on November 9th. Ron finally contacted me via text on November 30th. I had texted him a picture of the "Torch Glow" that had died. In his texts to me he was very unprofessional in his response to me basically said that we are over watering our plants and blaming us for the plants dying. We had another landscaper look at the plants and they told us there was spider mites in the plant. Ron said that that landscaper did not know what they were talking about. Ron said to turn off our irrigation for two weeks. If he would have contacted me when we originally called, we maybe would have not lost the one plant. Please note that Ron has not been out to our property to inspect the plants and to see what is really happening. It appears that they are trying to renege on their one year plant warranty. At this point I cannot recommend them to anyone due to their lack of customer service and the unprofessional way they have communicated with me. read more

We were very hopeful that we found a good company that was license and bonded. The first issue is when they came to start the job I asked if they had a permit. Ron Barnum/Project Manager seemed surprised that we wanted a permit. I advised Ron that I am not in the construction field but I did do my research before we started this project. I also advised that I hired a company that is licensed and bonded because they should know the requirements and I want to make sure everything is done correctly. I am aware that if we ever sell the house we would need to tear down the structure if we did not have a permit. Also when Ron arrived he did not have any of the information regarding our project. The information he was going over for our backyard was wrong. I had to put up the contract we signed to go over what we agreed per the contract. He stated that was not what he discussed with the sales person. All he had to do was go over the contract and look at the 3D design. It is very unprofessional to meet with the homeowners and have no clue about project. I would assume if you are going to meet with the homeowners you would be prepared. Let's fast forward to them saying that they submitting the Project to The City of Phoenix. I emailed Ron and Jeremy/Salesman several times to follow up on the status of the permit. I did not get a return call. I called and left a voicemail on the office phone. I received a return call. I advised how unprofessional Ron is. She advised that he does not do well with returning emails. This was just an excuse. She should be making sure the employees are responding to clients and know what is going on with the projects. I called and left another voicemail to follow up a 2-3 weeks later. Ron called me right back and stayed that they just received the Civil Engineer drawings and have submitted everything to the city. I signed a contract 6/26/20. I called again on 10/12/20 and left a voicemail requesting status on the permits. I emailed the city to check on the status of the permits on 10/14/20 as I have not received a return call from the company. The City could not find anything submitted for a permit. They told me to obtain the plan number from Landscape 20/20. I left another voicemail on 10/15/20 stating that I would like a return call today. As of 10/17/20 still no returned call. I will be filing a complaint with BBB and calling The Register of Contractors on Monday. I would not recommend this company. They are very unprofessional and do not return call. read more

When we first moved into our house we had our backyard done in a hurry b/c there was so much rain that winter. We've never been completely happy with it b/c there was so much gravel. Landscape 20/20 was recommended by a neighbor so we gave them a call. Ron came out to talk about our ideas and give us an estimate. While we had a footprint in place, he really took that and helped almost double our backyard space. They were really reasonably priced and we now have a backyard that we love spending time in. Especially our 3 year old son who just loves to run around. They added about 1500 square feet of turf (in addition to replacing the existing turf... there's no way to match), moved our spa including the electric and building a pad for it. He even pavered in the rest of our front porch for us. We couldn't be happier with their service! His team even trimmed all of our existing trees and planted a new one as part of the design. These pictures were taken right after they planted everything in March/April but now the plants are really starting to fill in. I was looking to have the front yard of my house redone. We needed plants, a tree, steps and a general design. After calling and Yelping multiple companies some answered and never called back. Some set appointments and never showed. Sean with Landscape 20/20 came through. He showed up reviewed the yard and took our ideas into account. He let us know he would have a quote to us in a few days and did. We went with Sean as he was very thorough with his design and quote. Sean explained watering and different plants in addition to helping us decide on adding paver steps versus flagstone steps. Sean was able to work around our steep grade in the front yard as well. His crew showed up on time, they were polite and helpful. After working with Sean, we decided we need our backyard redone. Sean has already been out, provided a sketch and quote. Called Sean to get a consult and estimate for a small landscape job. First, it was a little work getting in touch with him but finally did. He came out to the property on Thursday, talked as if he knew his business so I was interested in seeing a work up of what he would do and what it would cost. He said he would have an estimate to me "tomorrow". I acted surprised and said 'ok, great'. Well, as I read in other reviews, Sean sometimes just disappears which was a concern. Sure enough, I havent heard from him nor did I get an estimate in my email. I left him a message today, Monday, and have not heard back. Got quotes from 3 different landscapers and Ron's was the most reasonable one. His team did an excellent job for both the front and back yards. Set up everything as I wanted and he also gave good suggestions for back yard design which we liked immediately. Am very happy with his work. The only reason I am giving a 4 star and not higher is because Ron does not respond immediately, so sometimes have to wait a few days to hear back (this is only before the work starts). We contacted Landscape 20/20 shortly after we moved into our home as they were doing other yards on our street and liked what had been done. Sean came out and talked with us and gave us a drawing shortly thereafter (April 2020.) We were impressed with him and liked what he had come up with. However, it was more than we wanted to spend so we took some time to really figure out what was important to us at this time. After becoming clearer on our needs and wants, we contacted Sean again to come out and adjust the drawing (Feb 2021). Again, we liked him and chatted about the changes and he indicated he would come up with new proposal in a week. We never heard from him again. We tried to follow up by email and no response, tried calling for weeks and his voicemail was full. Even called his designer to see if we could find out what was going on. The designer indicated he would let Sean know we were trying to reach him. Still no response. I am sadly disappointed with his business practice and the lack of caring about our time. If you are not interested in a job, direct contact is more effective and respectful of all parties. read more

The crew that created the masterpiece that is my yard were extremely knowledgeable and always able to answer question or put me at ease. They not only helped me decide what I wanted, but explained the steps they would take to ensure my dream became a reality! They were alway conscious of my budget but were over the top with the work they did to make sure I was happy. I always considered myself a handy man that is capable of doing most house work.
