Their dehumidifier was set up incorrectly the first time, and when they replaced it, the water collection barrel was leaking onto the carpet and pad that was supposed to be drying. This added a couple of days to the job.They took the wet premium pad with them that I could have easily dried in the 100+ degree weather - I had to ask for it back which they delivered the next day. Instead of sawing the baseboard with a clean cut, they just broke it off, making it harder for me to fix afterward. They quoted me an estimate of $500-600 before the work started (this was a relatively small job), and I just got the bill for over $1200.

I reached out to servepro the following morning and they came out within 2 hours to assess the damage and begin water mitigation. My main point of contact was Robert and he was absolutely fantastic! He was great at communicating with me as to when he would arrive each day, and what tasks were going to be completed for the day. In total servepro was in my home for a little over 3 weeks working to dry up the water, and demo the bathroom. I would absolutely recommend to anyone needing water mitigation. Minus 1 star: when billing was collected, the majority of the charges were covered by insurance less our deductible. When the office called to collect payment they listed my payment options, credit card being one of them. I decided to use my card to get the points, the woman on the phone then informed me she would need to charge me an additional 3.5% to use my card, and that it's not up to them but the bank charges that fee. I personally think this is absolutely ridiculous, I too own my own business and I would NEVER pass the fee of accepting card payment onto the customer. Paying a fee to accept cards is part of the cost of doing business, it is also a tax write off at the end of the year. Bad business practices in my opinion.

He was great at communicating back and forth with our insurance company regarding all the damage, making sure we were covered for everything! He was also great at communicating with us about the mitigation process and the repairs afterwards. He took the time to address all of our concerns and even came by after the repairs were finished to replace our new shower head that was damaged. Him and his team were very detailed oriented with the exception of a few issues we noticed afterwards such as, our bathroom sink not being fully pushed back on one side, a few walls he combined 2 baseboards instead of using one longer piece, our smoke detector was missing, and the sealing of prior holes in the wall from our toilet paper holder was very poorly done. He did use the backyard to store a lot of the supplies but didn't tell us he had the dry wall material back there as well so thankfully we checked and didn't turn on the sprinklers those days. As well as leaving the gate open one of the days which isn't too big of a deal, however we do have pets. Overall we are pleased with the work and all the advocating David and his team did for us and would gladly work with him again!

He was generous enough to start setting up fans before confirming to work with them and was very informative and communicative throughout the whole water mitigation process. Always showed up on time and was responsive to any questions I had. Him and his crew were awesome during the demo portion. Put floor and wall protection down and cleaned up after the job was done. Highly recommend Chris and his team to help you out. Very professional and glad It was a good and smooth process coming from horrible situation with water damage. Chris completed his job but the overall job isn't fully complete. Still have to work with them for the rebuild and hope the process continues to be smooth and effortless.
