Beware of this business. Their quality had dramatically decreased. I took a dress for alterations and when I picked it up a week later and tried it on, nothing was done. The lady even laughed. I told them that I needed it for the following day. They did do the alterations the next day but the dress was still big. When I explained to the lady, she pulled down the dress and scratching me in the process all over my chest. She did not apologize and I told her that it was extremely unprofessional to put her hands on me like she did. She was extremely aggressive. They still charged me in full, even though it was not perfect, not on time and above all of it rude. I told her that I would pay in full, but leave her a negative review. She thanked me??? A disaster. I brought two new Eton dress shirts ($250 per) to get the sleeves tailored. I specifically said, "I need these tailored so the cuff shows properly when I wear them with a suit." She agreed and at no point did she say, "bring these back with your suit jacket." I picked up the shirts. Yesterday, I tried one on with my suit (a tailored to be clear). The cuff up my wrist. Tried the other one on -- same story. I now have two Eton shirts, purchased to wear with suits, that can't be. I brought the shirts back. Lanna's mom take a razor and opens the cuff (after I tried them both on with the suit coat to show how they ruined the shirts) to see if Lanna left enough seam allowance. Of course not -- because the cuffs were almost a half-inch too short. The mother calls Lanna. A few minutes later, Lanna pulls up. She immediately tries to find ways to blame *me* for why the cuffs are too short. My tailored suit has sleeves that are too long! Indeed, she starts mocking me for not bringing the suit jacket in -- when she said nothing about it when she measured shirts in the first place. They're slow and expensive even if when they don't ruin your garment. And if they do ruin your garment, they will blame you and mock you. You really can't find a *worse* place to take your clothes. read more

Brought my suit and pants to get altered before I leave on a work trip. Ms. Nguyen told me she could hem the pants and alter the suit. When I showed up 1 week later she told me she did nothing. I was compeltely frustrated because it was my favorite suit that I was going to wear for my work trip. She assured me it would be ready in an hour, and true to her word, it was completed on time. THEY STAINED MY NEW WITH TAGS BRIDESMAID DRESS. I brought a brand new dress from a bridal shop directly to Lanna's. I asked for a quote to ONLY shorten the hem, and I thought it odd that she made me try on and mark the hem before she would give me a price. Additionally, she quoted me $20 more than what she was charging another bridesmaid with the same dress. Regardless, I decided to appreciate the small biz owner hustle and agreed to have her hem the dress. When I returned to pick up the dress, Lanna's assistant asked for my ticket and rifled through many items. She found it, and it was not covered in the protective plastic as I had left it. She hung it on the pick-up rack, and I went to fix it on the hanger as it was just sloppily hung by one of the straps, not zipped up, and just looking like the least amount of care had been taken after they had hemmed it. As I was doing this, I noticed what looked like an oil stain on the front of the dress, likely from the sewing machine. I pointed this out to Lanna and the assistant and (VERY long story short) they said they didn't see a stain, then they said they didn't make the stain, then they said they would give me $10 off the $60 bill because of the stain. They kept me there for 30 minutes arguing with me and asking me to wait for Lanna's daughter to arrive (why? i don't know). I finally agreed to leave it there for them to have it cleaned. It was cleaned when I picked it up, but once again just haphazardly slung over a cheap hanger with the straps coming out of the loopholes. No discount for the trouble and no apology. It was extremely stressful as I didn't know what I would have done if I had picked it up and found it still stained. This location looks pretty busy, but don't be fooled, they probably don't have the name of their business on the building for a reason!! You will only see "ALTERATIONS" on the outside. read more

I'm disappointed with the alterations I received. One of the first pairs of pants I had hemmed here came back with an approximate four inch difference between the two legs: they over-shortened one of the legs by a significant amount. I took it back and I don't know how they fixed it but they did. I thought it was an honest mistake so I continued to bring items here for minor alterations. Recently, the hems of two other pairs of slacks that I brought here unraveled while I was at work. I had them hemmed here less than a few weeks ago. Not only that, they cut the legs so short for the hems that they can never be taken out in the event that I lose some weight and take in the waist - there was no reason for them to do this. I had to take both pairs of slacks to a different place to repair the unraveled hems. I wasted a lot of time and money taking so many items here that have to be redone somewhere else. Left a new blouse for a very simple alternation for sides under the arms. Though the alteration seemed acceptable they totally disrespected my garment. Very disappointed and unsatisfied with my experience with this shop, before going I knew it was a locally owned business so I wanted to support it, but after being charged $100 to have my jacket hemmed and zip altered, I was sure the work would be done well. The day I took my jacket in, I was very clear on what I wanted to be done to the jacket, and they lady even gave me 2 weeks waiting time. I just went to go pick it up today and the jacket still wasn't complete hemmed, and there we're still stings on it that I wanted removed. Only take your clothes here if you'd like for them to get ripped and stained. These women are rude and hostile. If you point out flaws in their work, they simply IGNORE you and walk to the back of the store. BEWARE**** Save yourself time and aggravation. Avoid this place. Terrible work and awful customer service. I dropped off 3 items. 1 item I needed the next day and they agreed to have it ready. I explained exactly what I needed and the time I was going to pickup. The older lady at the counter agreed. I returned the next day to pick up my pants. When I got home, I realized none of the alterations I had requested were made and they took my money. I went back to the shop to show them the problem. After going around in circles with the daughter, they so called fixed it on the spot since I needed them for that evening. I was late to my appointment since I had to wait. I also noticed that night. That the elastic on the ankles of the cargo pants were never replaced. I paid for all three items at the time I picked up the pants, but wasn't in a rush for my dresses. I returned a week later and was told I didn't pay. I went back and forth again with the older woman and the daughter. I agreed to pay but felt I was being scammed. I was charged $30 for sleeves to be shortened by 2 inches on one of the dresses! The face that I paid twice for a service was insane. I walked knowing that I will never use their sub-standard cheating service again. Anyway, this place is unprofessional, poor quality ( I've had way better tailoring/alterations in the past), poor communication, charge too much for low skill level. Came here over the weekend because I needed to get a suit tailored for a wedding coming up the following week. I was charged $35 to shorten the sleeves on the blazer, $20 to taper the pants, and $10 to hem the pants. I was told that my suit will be ready by the following Saturday, which is the day of the wedding. I asked if I could pick it up on Thursday or Friday, but they said I could pick it up Saturday morning, which should be fine. I was asked to pay up front. A little weird because the person in front of me didn't have to pay up front and could pay when they received their altered item the following week. The two ladies that helped get me fitted were very nice and helpful. I plan to update my review once I get my altered suit, but so far so good! read more

I called a million alteration places asking for the impossible. I asked if they did alterations to bathing suits and if they could have it done same day (day before 4th of July). Everywhere said no to both requests as expected. I almost gave up, but decided to call Lanna's. She was also referred by another place I had called. She gladly said yes to both requests! The price was fantastic! The service was fantastic! The bathing suit fit PERCECTLY! So happy! Thank you!! Update: came here again 4/10/21 still equally happy as the first time! I bought some bell bottom flowy "hippie patterned" pants. The fabric is super soft. They were just too long and I hoped they'd be able to help me out by hemming this kind of material. Turned out amazing. She even asked me how tall the shoes I'd be wearing would be so they wouldn't look too high or too low. So knowing I was wearing platform sandals she suggested to make them floor length and that was the right move! Very pleased again! read more

WE CAN'T BELIEVE IT...This was our go-to spot, but since one of the daughters moved to Texas, this place went downhill. The owner and the younger girl kept arguing with us about length, saying it might be how I hung the curtains, so I removed them from the wall and measured them on the ground as you see in the picture attached. After I returned, they did everything to convince me they could fix the length. I'm not the most savvy with alteration, but my wife wanted them to touch the floor, which would mean the hem would be smaller on one side. They kept trying to fix the length, but I declined. Here is where the story gets interstating. I asked about payment being refunded, and they went postal saying I'm rich, I can afford it, but this is about business ethics. I can't believe that after 10+yrs of coming back, this young girl had the nerve to speak to us like that. We obviously got upset and snapped back, saying we would not be returning. Not once did anyone apologize for ruining our new curtains. The young lady followed us out, yelling, "Don't ever come back." ZERO CLASS! We tolerated the lack of customer service for years, but it's time to move on. read more

I brought my grad dress and a pair of jeans and they were able to tailor both of them perfectly in a few days for only $55. I am so satisfied with both products and I 100% recommend them! The only con was that I called ahead to get a quote but whoever answered couldn't really communicate that to me so I went in not knowing how much it would be. 0 Stars!!!! There should be a rating that says THE WORST, DON'T COME HERE!!! Extremely rude service from mother/daughter. The mother yelled at me over the phone then hung up on me. They tried charging more than the agreed amount yet they ruined my drapes. Nothing was altered to the specific measurements! Every panel was completely off from the next by 3-5". I even brought another curtain as an example and they didn't come close. They wanted to charge me after their hack job and had the nerve to make me feel guilty saying I didn't appreciate what they did. You're absolutely right! I don't appreciate your rude service when I'm handing you my money and your work is atrocious! While waiting in their store a man came in complaining about his pants being hemmed incorrectly. Another man came in asking for one drape panel to be altered and the response was "we don't do drapes"!!! What? You don't do drapes yet you took my money and expected more for your shoddy job?
