While they do have a nice selection of the stores including Macy's, American Eagle, FYE and the like, and a movie theater, but the atmosphere was not the greatest. There was a little bit of a sketch factor when we went, including lots of teens acting like fools and causing disturbances throughout the mall. I'm talking about being obnoxious and yelling, cursing, getting in people's way, playing music as they walked around and generally ruining the atmosphere for us and for the store owners too I'd imagine. Aside from it being horrible optics, it was really annoying. I also did not see any security nor any police on the premises, which made me think twice about whether it was actually safe or not. It's probably fine but who knows? Overall, I probably give this mall three stars. It's got a good selection of stores and plenty of parking too. However if I go back and it's the same story, I probably won't go back again. Stop by and judge for yourself!

The Tuesday Morning store is no longer here, and there are several empty business spaces. The shopping center is about 151,800 square feet and it has lot of vehicular traffic passing by about 38,000 cars per day pass by this mall, so the area is busy and there's about 150,000 living within 3 miles of the shopping center. In terms of restaurants, you can find Chili's, Keke's Breakfast Cafe and Miller's Ale House. Lots of parking.

The traffic pattern sends you north and to go south on Congress or East on the exit roads is next to impossible without making uturns. CityPlace also has an open air area perfect for lounging and listening to live music and entertainment. There is also a water fountain where the kids can cool off on a warm summer day. We didn't get to venture too far and experience all that CityPlace has to offer. I hope to return to visit and indulge in the featured immersive arts and events available.

There is also Art Basil, an Italian Eatery that offers pizza as well as many other choices. It isn't just food. There are plenty of places to shop as well. Plaza de lMar also has a beautiful Publix, a high end shoe store, a Chico's, A Thai restaurant and an ice cream shop. It's a wonderful and relaxing place to spend some time.

Street parking was a bit tricky and saw the parking patrol officer nailing a bunch of cars with tickets. I was told to wait until after season due to congestion, so we listened and came on a weekend. Most of the stores were empty of customers as we walked by. Worth Ave has every pricey big brand purse store including of course Gucci, Louie Viutton and Chanel. But we came here to visit the beach at the end of Worth Ave and it was "worth" the trip. I recommend the couple streets just off Worth Ave to visit like the Colony Hotel and the Brazilian Court where they offer classy bars with stiff drinks, food and some humans. My opinion is dont bother with the stores unless you like to burn money.

The hubby got frustrated with the street parking but found a few spots near the beach and took a few pictures then walked two blocks to the shops. There were a good amount of shops but not the kind you can walk in without a grand or more in your pocket. The street was very ritzy. After minimal shopping we had great food at two bars.
